Story: 4
The story started off predictably with a cliché underdog who has great potential to move to higher heights. However, as the chapters goes by, the story pace became so rushed that at the end, I'm left with an abrupt ending with a bitter taste in my mouth. The first few chapters, the pacing was great, details on the character and their motive was told clearly. Then it all went downhill.... Motives of some characters were not explained. Actions of some characters was just... confusing. It's as though you found a box of ice cream in the fridge and it turns out to be filled
...
with frozen meat.
Characters: 6
Your everyday pathetic underdog with a sad backstory. Was expecting more appearance from other characters and their progress but it seems like the author introduced them and just forgot about them, leaving them to rot in the wasteland of forgotten character. Like what happened to the horse?! What is the main purpose of introducing the horse when it'll all be forgotten after a few chapters?
After the Main Character went into berserk mode, it seems like everything is glossed over, making the character too OP.
Art: 7
It was drawn by the artist of Douluo Dalu. If you like art style like that, it's the manhua for you. Every page is fully coloured, adding to the viewing enjoyments.
Enjoyment: 5
Was interesting in the beginning but left dumbfounded in the end. The flow of the story takes a weird turn that I nearly gave up reading it.
Overall, I would recommend you to read the first few chapters and imagine the ending on your own. Create an ideal ending in your mind, Imagination is everything.....
:D
