In general same type of show-->supernatural, comedy, slice of life anime with dynamic female leads that change the male leads lives. Furthermore they contain some romantic moments without belonging to the romance genre. Both of them have lively and colorful art style and cheerful and catchy music. But the main similarity is in the plot goddess and common human affect each other, have a unique relationship.

First of all, I found the characters designs extremely similar. Then the main characters resemble each other. Taiga as Nagi are strong female characters but can become weak and Emo if something intense happens. Jin - Ryuuji on the other hand are caring and helpful male leads that have characteristics, which usually belong to female characters. Furthermore if we ignore the exact scenario, the core characterization of both stories are romantic slice of life comedies.

Many many similarities, exactly the same genre, I sincerely recommend this .First of all both have a very deep and symbolic connection with the sky. Then both of them have the same type of female leads, sweet, innocent and lovable. Furthermore these two animes have an arc about the past(like a flashback). Finally a very big part of the plot consists of mythological elements that you should get used to( these elements seem to be part of a much greater mythology that the writers keep hidden from us).

Both animes are very action packed.Furthermore they have plenty of mystery and one male lead surrounded by many girls.Finally there are many supernatural elements that you should get used to them to watch the anime.

If you liked Canvas 2: Nijiiro no Sketch add

...then you might like ef: A Tale of Melodies. add

In both stories there is a talented painter that cannot paint cause of a painful experience.Futhermore both animes are Drama-Romance type.Although, Ef is a much better anime overall.
