This was a movie for people who were already fans of Inuyasha. It had all of the expected elements, the familiar music, and of course, a unique-looking villain.

There isn't much to say about it. If you're a fan of Inuyasha, check it out, it has more of what you know you enjoy. If not, if might be awkward.

The only thing of note was the villain's design. Some sort of giant moth creature. I couldn't even really figure out exactly what it was. It plays to the strengths of the show in general: unique character designs, especially for the demons.

Many individual episodes stand on their own, and sometimes it's hard to discern what is filler and what is driving the plot forward. The ending felt rushed. However, where it fails in tying together a plot, it succeeds in creating characters you want to root for, which is my second point....

The characters are ...

What can be said about this anime that hasn't been said already?

Brief overview: Two brothers attempt to bring their mother back from the dead. They fail, and the attempt comes at a great cost: the loss of limbs for Edward Elric (the protagonist) and the loss of Alphonse's body. They are on a quest to somehow restore their bodies through alchemy.

First off, the story: This is an anime where every character has purpose. There are very few throwaway characters, and if they are, they at least make a significant impact in some way. The plot is tied together very well, despite the numerous character arcs ...
