Don't believe the anti-hype. This is actually a pretty good Manga. I want to address an elephant in the room, and that specifically is (Minor spoiler) breathing techniques. It has been complained about that they are not explained well, and it doesn't make sense how people just summon an element. The big issue with this is it has been stated previously in the Manga, that the manifestations in elements of the techniques is simply visual. Only those who use breathing can see them, and what matters is the form, the way the blade is swung, not the element itself.

I should probably also address the characters, ... who have been called bland tropes. Now I've read a lot of Manga, and while the characters don't necessarily all stand out, there's really nothing too inoffensive here. The main character is a try hard, sure. However, he's also not invincible feeling, (Reasonably sized spoiler.) he isn't a descendant of some hyper God warrior, and he's actually logical outside of battle, which is absolutely uncommon for a Shonen protagonist. Usually, they're depicted as extreme meat heads. The side characters aren't entirely fleshed out because the Manga paces itself too quickly, however, they're each given a back story as to why they're in the Demon Slayer Corps. This usually centers around demons of course, and it's believable why they're there. Someone said they don't think there's enough variation for their motivation to be reasonable, but look at this world they live in. One small misstep leads to you and literally everyone else being toast. It ain't a kids game, and the ones who can't rough it are weeded out quickly.

That's all I really have to say on the subject. The Manga is good, and you shouldn't not read it just because a few people hopped up on Jojo told you not to. (Because it's really hard to beat Jojo, let's be honest.)

This Manga is extremely enjoyable and I would implore anyone who agrees to assist in raising the score. Till Your Bones Rot is deep philosophical manga about the consequences of murdering someone. These consequences are experienced and conveyed through a group of young teenagers, who all had their own motives and deal with it in their own way. In the way that it's emotional, it's also a mystery roller-coaster. There are many scenes in this that will leave you guessing at what happens next, or took place that we don't know about yet.

It's drawn pretty well, and I rarely ever had a moment where the ... art didn't convey what the author intended. Beyond this, all the names should be easy to remember if you've got some familiarity with Japanese names. These generally lend themselves to the high rating I gave it.

Overall, this manga is an experience that will keep you reading without overstaying its welcome. Please read it and share your thoughts, if you can. I rate it an 8.5/10, rounded up to a pleasent 9/10 for MAL.
