The stories are different, I found Himari a lot like Menma. They are both sweet,kind and childish,with both have a tragic fate, but they just act happy and smile even though they known that they won't be there forever. Also Momoka reminds me of Menma as well.She is already dead but she friends can't accept her death even after growing up.
