Fate/zero is the prequel of the very popular series Fate/stay night. But I urge you not to compare the two. The holy grail concept and some characters may be the same but the general style and feel the two anime give are very different.
~Story: Fate/zero starts off with a 45min long episode. The beginning has been quite boring for me but nevertheless it did a great job establishing the story of Fate/zero: introducing the various characters and briefly explaining the Holy Grail War concept. In episode 2, the Holy Grail War officially commences. This series is only the first part of the whole 25 episode

series.This is not really a 'season', so don't expect a conclusion but be ready to be faced with a cliffhanger.
~Art: The art of Fate/zero is very game like. (I guess fate/zero did come from a game..or the artists just wanted to make it look 'modern'.) The animation is very smooth. I really enjoyed the action scenes where I think the art is totally stunning (Don't be mistaken, I am not saying it wasn't awesome at other times).
~Sound: The background music of Fate/zero has always been quite superb to me. It really helps create the right mood during the course of the story. At times when a scene's lighting is too dark, the music really stands out for me. The opening and ending songs were amazing as well. I have to commend on energy exuded in the opening sung by LiSA, it has made me look forward to this anime a lot more every week.
~Character: As I have mentioned before, this is only the first part of the whole Fate/zero series. Instead of having the actual climax, we have characters building towards the climax. The interaction between characters is very important and I think Fate/zero has executed this very well. Most of the time we will see the characters letting their fists do the talking (well, with the help for their weapons). Since this is an action anime, through the fights we can learn a lot about each characters. Fate/zero explores each character(well, most, seeing as this is the first part, some characters would inevitably be left in the unknown) really well, assigning sufficient time to each of them. At the start I had a small problem trying to distinguish the male leads. But this problem soon disappeared as the series continues because their personality became more distinctive. Each character's personality is actually pretty different from one another in the anime.
~Enjoyment: Fate/zero was generally quite enjoyable. I really like the art style of fate/zero, although there are times when I thought the lighting could be brightened up by a tiny bit. The characters are very well designed. I really like how every character is different.
Fate/zero is a anime for those who like fantasy and action. There is little comedy but don't worry there is still some! Fate/zero isn't really as dark as it appears to be(not to me anyway). I don't think you would need to watch Fate/stay night to watch this but doing so might give you a better understanding. I wouldn't recommend it (read my fate/stay review then you'll know why) and I think that Wikipedia does a better job at explaining than the actual fate/stay night anime.

As the name suggests, Bakemonogatari is a story of ghosts or rather more fittingly, monsters. My first impression for this anime was a bloody ghost story that is intended to scare children. But Bakemonogatari was nothing like what I had expected.
~Story: A story called 'ghost story' would very unlikely be categorized out of the mystery genre. The general plot basically follows a guy who got to meet with a lot of strange girls. But of course, it is nowhere as simple as I have described it. In the story, each of the girls are faced with their own 'monster' problem and the guy would

always try to help them.
~Art: When I started watching Bakemonogatari, I didn't really like the art in general. The constant flashes of the eye really gives me the shiver(a warning to those who have ommetaphobia). But as I continued watching, I started to see why it is like so. The art really brings out the mysterious aspect of the anime. What makes the art of Bakemonogatari really unusual is that it doesn't only features one art style. It also uses photos and manga imitations to really change the mood of the anime (mostly during comical moments).
~Sound: The background soundtrack really helps to establish a mysterious atmosphere for the anime. The opening songs change roughly every 2 episodes. Each of the song would feature one of the girl to suit the episodes that are centered around them. Each of the songs have their own style to fit each character. The ending song stays the same throughout the anime.
~Characters: Don't come expecting an ordinary high school because you won't find one. Even when some of the characters appear to be quite normal, you know immediately that that would never be the case. Every one of the girl has a problem related to some sort of occult monster. I find the characters to be quite interesting. They are all unique in their own way. The main character appears to be a typical baka pervert but is actually one tenth of a vampire. The interactions between the main character and each of the girls are interesting to watch.
~Enjoyment: The comedy and the 'weirdness' of this anime really made it enjoyable to watch. I would often find myself laughing at the many awkward moments. I find the monsters described in Bakemonogatari to be interesting.
I don't think Bakemonogatari is meant to be scary because I had found myself laughing way more than I was shivering. So don't worry if you thought this anime was going to be a 'real' ghost story(like one of those really scary ones). For those who like blood, I would say Bakemonogatari only has a moderate amount of blood scenes. If you like awkward comedy, awkward love relationships and a touch of occult, Bakemonogatari is the anime for you.

What you will find in this anime is a group of cute guys who are pros at music.
~Story: There is nothing particularly special about the plot of UtaPri. It follows the journey of a girl who got accepted to a very extravagant music school. There she met a group of cute guys who gradually got to love her music. This anime is a typical reverse harem. Do not expect to find any major plot twists because UtaPri is quite light-hearted and often uses comedy.
~Art: The first time I looked at the main girl character, I was like "Why does she have such creepy eyes?!" I

have to say the other characters' eyes are less creepy and look more normal. The art of UtaPri really has an elegant tone to it(please excuse the times when they dance like robots). What I really like about the visuals in UtaPri is the colors. There is always a happy feeling in this anime because of the use of a range of colors.
~Sound: UtaPri is an anime about music. I am sure anyone would be disappointed if this aspect of the anime was not done well. i think that the background soundtrack is quite suitable. The singing however has been the part that I really enjoyed. When people keep asking the question "Can music change the world?", I really have to give a yes as an answer. I felt that the songs in UtaPri are all quite emotional.
~Character: Every character has been briefly explored in the anime. I haven't played the game UtaPri but after reading Wikipedia, I would assume that it is a lot more detailed and the characters are more thoroughly explained. While all sharing the love for music, the characters each have their own distinct personality. Each of the characters is assigned with a certain color. Sometimes, I find that the colors really expresses their personality.
~Enjoyment: I wouldn't say that I really like this anime. The only enjoyment I got from watching UtaPri came from the voices. I have to admit that I only watched this anime because Mamoru Miyano starred in it. For me, the singing has made the best moments for me in UtaPri.
If you like a short anime based around music or enjoys watching a reverse harem with cute guys, UtaPri is the anime for you.

I have to say fate/stay night didn't quite make my expectation. With its rating on MAL as 8, I had expected an anime that speaks 'Wow' to me. Instead, I found an anime that said 'watch me because I'm just popular'.
Story: The plot starts off quite interesting. Introducing the Holy Gail War where seven servants and masters are to fight each other. There are many elements in this anime which become utter confusion for me. It might have been just my incapability to understand such complicated situations.
Art: In fate/stay night, the art didn't really cut to me. When I look into the characters' eyes,

I always feel an emptiness radiating from them. Although I have to say the animation during the fights has been one of the only things that impressed me. Ah, the fights, well I didn't think they have been put at the right time in the story. Often, they have come quite unexpectedly in an anti-climatic way.
Sound: The opening and ending themes are quite fitting. The sountracks used are also quite appropriate. But none of the sounds really stood out for me.
Characters: I didn't really like any of the characters apart from Ilya who is just totally adorable. In general, I find the characters in fate/stay night to be quite flat. Although, most of the main characters appear to be strong physically, which is demonstrated through the numerous fights, I feel that they are kind of weak in the heart. Fate/stay makes a lot of references to well-known historical and legendary figures.This aspect of the anime makes it interesting but the let down is that not much of each character has been thoroughly explored.
All in all, I didn't feel that there was much enjoyment in this anime. I absolutely agree to those who have called this anime overrated. I guess that might have been due to the fact that it has been dubbed and aired in many different countries. On the other hand, I find the prequel to fate/stay night, called fate/zero, to be a lot more interesting. If you really enjoy watching the fantasy genre then you might consider watching fate/stay night.

When I first came across this manga, there were two things that made me stay to read the general synopsis. The first thing is the name, the second is the art. I thought that name sounded pretty nice. There was just a vibe that attracted me to it.The art looked pleasing enough, so I then thought to give it a try.
Pandora Hearts was probably the manga that let me stop disliking the Victoria era style. I would usually stick to reading stories of modern settings with modern style clothing. So this has been a new experience for me.

also a bit confusing at times. The mangaka would give hints along the way that would usually lead to a very unexpected situation. The links to Alice in Wonderland are also quite interesting. I, myself, am not very familiar with that series of books but I think the references were quite ingenious.
The characters were quite well developed in Pandora Hearts. Each character is quite different from one another (except maybe that they all seem to have a dark side to them). Throughout the story, each of the main characters' past is explored. I really like this element of the manga because a reader would not get bored with only knowing one or two of the characters' past.
Sometimes this manga makes me laugh, sometimes it gasping in awe at the twists present in the story(the mangaka surprises us all the time). I really like how this manga isn't just all comedy or just all dark moments. It is a mix of both. This is probably my main reason for finding Pandora Hearts very enjoyable.
I recommend this manga to anyone who doesn't want to read something too dark. Even if you don't especially like the Victorian era (like me), you should still give it a try. It's definitely worth it! (I myself have read it two times and am currently onto my third.) Just a final warning, this is a monthly manga so once you've read all the updates available, you will probably be left with a cliffhanger that will bug you for a whole month! ^o^
