Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu

Similarities: The heroine (Sawako in KnT, and Tsubaki in Kyou, Koi) is misunderstood, picked on, and liked by no one. However, when they meet the male lead, (Kazehaya in Knt, and Kyouta in Kyou, Koi) their lives change. Also, the heroines are similar because both are quick to misunderstand a situation (often making it difficult for the guys... ^^) Differences: The feeling of the stories are very different... KnT is very light-hearted and sweet, while Kyou, Koi is far more... intense... when it comes to the... interaction... between the main couple. (if you catch my drift... ^^) Although, Kyou, Koi does have its sweet moments, too. ^^ Also, the main guys are a bit different. Kazehaya is openly kind and trusting, but shy when it comes to his feelings for Sawako, whereas Kyouta is less kind(to anyone but Tsubaki...), not really trusting at all(except for Tsubaki...), and only shy about what makes him uncool. ^^ Both are a great read and I would recommend them to anyone! ^^ PS- sorry for the length... >.<

Both focus on the main character's "destiny" as a protector (Pretear- Himeno as the Pretear; Blue Seed- Momiji as the Kushinada). Also, both shows' enemies are created by evil seeds that are put into objects and turn the objects into evil creatures. Both anime are very good and an excellent watch! :)
