Genuinely did not hate or dislike this anime, and I think it does not deserve to be the lowest-rated anime. Yes, it is objectively bad. The quality of the animation is poor, the story is rushed, the giant squid enemy just stands there and does nothing worthy of being posed as a threat, the mech tech is horrifically weak in more ways than one, most of the main characters randomly disappear before it's just the two that are romantically interested in the boy (they only focus on one of them though), there are plenty of weird moments, and it genuinely feels like there is nothing

at stake. But in my personal opinion, this is not nearly the worst anime. In fact, I think this is just your run-of-the-mill cheap mid anime more than anything. There are so much worse anime than this. When it comes to animation, you've got Berserk 2016, Ex-Arm, Twinkle Nora Rock Me. When it comes to story, you've got the Hololive shorts, Woozer Hand-to-Mouth, Monster Strike, hell the second arc of Magia Record is worse than this. When it comes to romance, it's a no-brainer that 11Eyes is a thousand times worse. I All of those examples gave me genuine anger, disappointment, and pain. But Skelter + Heaven did not give me those emotions. I just kinda went "ok, and?", "oh, so this is happening", "HAHA, omg it's a giant squid, look at them tentacles!" Yes, it's not a good anime, but it's also not horrible. I'd personally rate this either a 4 or a 5, but I'm probably sticking to 4 for the review. Justice for this poor anime, please bring this up above Mars Destruction at the very least.
Edit: I definitely want to know what happened when Fuganai deleted his son from his phone. Like did he die, or is he just dead to the dad?

Summary: A cat catches a mouse, mouse refuses to be eaten, cat shows signs of Periodontitis and mouse convinces cat to go to dentist. There are no subs (other than really bad auto-generated subs), but I feel like I can make the plot out enough to enjoy it and the little quirks it has.
The only complaint I have is that the little jingles in the end are purposefully off pitch and overrun by the "Brought to you by the Japanese Society of Periodontists" voiceover (though it gets worse in season 2). That's the only thing that's making me rate this series a 6 instead of

a 7.
I think this series is good for people with intermediate or advanced knowledge of Japanese, but it will very much confuse beginners. But hey, you get to know what Periodontitis is! 歯周病 (Shishuubyou)! Go have fun writing it down and sharing it with your friends!

Stumbled upon a spinoff of this anime through a user profile, and decided to check out the original first just to see what it's about. Suffice to say, there isn't much of an identity here. It tries to be cute and comedic (the opening theme, the episode "menu" titles, etc.), it tries to be violent, it tries to give lore about a Lost Technology, it tries to give a formidable overarching villain. But alas, for the most part it fails in all of these aspects, at least for me. Not only that, it also fails to put these aspects together cohesively. The really good moments

are unfortunately swept away after a couple minutes.
The third episode ticked me off because of the missile's blatant sexism and threats- er, joookes- to end its life. And then they decide to keep it in the end? Just because it's a form of "Lost Technology"? While saying he only likes Vanilla because she's quiet and therefore "submissive"? ??? Jesus Christ. Milfuelle was also annoying in this episode, but only because the animators really needed to pad in time by creating an immense amount of suspense.
On the bright side, there is one really cute thing: that pink animal that hatched out of the egg in episode six. Holy crap, I will die for it. Oh wait, it just grew into a giant mouse with wings and lasers? I see how it is. Still cute. I would turn it into my Pokémon.
I would like to know more lore about the anime, especially the empire they serve, the civilizations they interact with, and the Lost Technology. But unfortunately I'm not given any of this.
Also, I skipped a few episodes, and each character becomes more stereotypical. Forte is stereotypically angry and will shoot her guns any chance she gets. Ranpha is also angry a lot of the time, but more in a tsundere way than Forte. Milfuelle is either the least or most airheaded person in the episode. They definitely become more one-note over time.
Even though I'm not the biggest fan of it, I think there would be people who would like it, which is why I'm putting it in the "mixed feelings" section instead of the "not recommended" section. If you enjoy episodic magical girl shows, then I think this is for you. If you like lore and to not have to watch a character be sexist at the other main characters for a significant portion of the episodes, then I don't think you'll like this.

This was worse than I could've imagined it. I heard about its anime adaptation a long time ago and was told not to go near it because gore. But the gore, unfortunately, is not the least of its problems. In fact, some of the deaths are pretty humorous and well-timed (*ahem, the father and son with horns*). What the big problems are, however, are the interesting premises that become bloated, a Dragon Ball-esque growth of threats and powers, an unnecessary connection between all of the characters within their past, the core love triangle between a boy, his cousin, and a humanoid with MPD, that caused

literally everything to happen, and, worst of all, that it's borderline hentai. Actually, it does become hentai at points, only the genitals aren't drawn in. Still doesn't excuse the literal child rape scene(s) drawn in. Nor the strange fetishes Lynn seems to have.
I was originally going to give this a three, but after the emotional (albeit flip-floppy) ending, I decided to raise it. I enjoyed most of the unrelated specials as well. I didn't understand the connection with the Hugo Wolf lieder it's named after at first, but after reading the ending and making a forum post about it, I definitely understand it more. Lucy singing the song at the top of the crumbled lighthouse as she magically gives herself to Kouta while her body crumbles away is very powerful. The manga is also really good at getting the reader to look at how bleak everything is, especially the research facilities. There were hardly any good characters in this manga. Some people wanted to kill all Diclonii, some people wanted to breed more Diclonii, some people just wanted the destruction of humanity in whatever way they deemed fit. Nearly all of them got their hands filthy in it, and all that was left was how well they can clean them (if they wanted that).
Still, holy crap, was this thing a doozy to read. I'm glad to be done with it. Good luck to anyone reading this who hasn't seen the anime (including myself). They made quite a few changes and I do not know how I'm going to feel about it.
I think this is my first full review with spoilers, so if I have more to say that goes deeper into such spoilers, then I can do so at my own will :D.

I applaud the time they took to make an entire album with 3D animated music videos. However, I find that most of the songs sound pretty average and the animation, for the most part, is pretty stilted. Some of the dance moves are pretty awkward, too, and it kind of felt like the animators didn't know what to do in the instrumental interludes.
Here's a list of my favorite to least favorite songs:
1. Black or White? - a banger, also I choose black; this and #2 are why this compilation is overall a 6 and not a 5.
2. Candy Parade - another certified banger; love the

way it changes keys; beautiful animation; trans rights!
3. Step by Step - another decent banger, love the drum change in the chorus and how the bridge transitions to a different key.
4. Kimi to Boku - solid cover, though I think it runs a bit too long.
5. White Xmas - very good Christmas song; best Miku impression.
6. Poker Face - it was annoying as the ending theme of the first season, but now that I get to hear it, it's alright.
7. One Week - it would've been a banger if it weren't for the constant descending synths at the forefront; I also like the outfit.
8. Coloring - pleasant to listen to, if a bit repetitive.
9. Vanilla Salt - it's a cover; what's happening with the music video, though?
10. Monochrome - nice song, but not android enough; this is why I would've preferred Miku in place of this.
11. 「?」- the animation is pretty memorable, but not the song, unfortunately.
12. Never Ending Story - she's a mermaid apparently, and Travis Scott keeps falling off the stage.
13. Yahho!! - great music video, but she sounds like she's not putting any effort into the song.
14. Try again - not much in this song works for me; what's with those duplications?
15. Watashi dake no Monogatari - I barely remember this one and I just watched it.
Overall, these songs would be fine for osu! beatmaps, but that's about it. Except for Black or White and Candy Parade, those are bangers. I'd say check out those two, as well as Step by Step, if you don't want to listen to the whole playlist.

I'm a simple man. I see kitty, I click on kitty, I fawn over kitty. Cute kitty. Cute kitty doing kitty things. It cute. Even if it scratches and bites, it cute. Want to pet and scritch its floof. It cuuuuuuuuuuuuute :3
I absolutely adore this anime. The unique animation, the realistic yet super cute-looking cat, the typical things cats do. I love it. My only gripe is that the sketches are just a little too short and the theme song is just a little too long, especially since each episode is two and a half minutes long. But still, even though my gripe over the

length keeps me from rating this as a masterpiece, it's still very good. Plus, I can give the benefit of the doubt, as these episodes probably aired during commercial breaks or something like that.
Anyway, if you are a simple man like me and you love kitty, watch it :3

Who are these people? I don't know. What's a Wooser? Nobody knows. Why is the English title called "Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life" when Wooser has no mouth and therefore can't contract Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease? Absolutely no clue. How did I find this anime? Because it was a character in Miss Monochrome. That's the only thing I know.
Animation-wise, it's not the best in my opinion, but it looks cute and it works well enough. Plus, it's quite unique, which I respect. I enjoy the opening theme with its 8-bit instruments, however I don't enjoy the ending theme, as it looks pretty ugly and the song

is bland. The four-minute episodes are divided into the opening theme (30 seconds), three sketches between thirty and fourty seconds long, two fifteen-second interludes, the ending theme (45 seconds long), and a 15-second outro. (Wait... I'm missing thirty seconds.) It's supposed to be a comedy, but I don't really find much funny. In fact, I find it quite boring. Wooser's dreams to become supreme leader or something like that is quite tripe, and sometimes he's a bit of a jerk. There are also sketches where people just talk and not much happens. For example, there's a sketch in episode 2 where one talks about Black Rock Shooter and the other one isn't listening to her complaining about how much her legs hurt from climbing the stairs. It doesn't seem funny to me. But I don't know, maybe I'm missing something. Maybe I'm too old for this anime, though, and the kids would find this funny.
Wait, is this really for kids? Is it really rated G? There's kinda some not-so-kid stuff in here. Swearing, bloody deaths, Wooser's desire to eat girls' legs? (would you call that Crurophilia (leg fetish)?), the fanservice in episode 6, a couple pictures in the last five seconds of each episode that are kinda lewd. Is this really for kids?
The episode titles also don't make much sense. There was no alcohol in episode 2, so why would they put that in the name?
In the outro of each episode, Wooser tells us to go to the Wooser.tv site for a riddle. I went to the site, and I couldn't find a riddle (if you find it, then let me know).
I would not recommend this to kids. Honestly, I don't really recommend it to anyone. The only thing it has going for it is that it's marginally better than other thirty-second sketches I've seen, particularly HoloGraffiti and Girigiri Warukunai Watame. Still, it's not really good.

This final season is a continuation of the second season, which means you'll have to watch the previous season in order to understand the context of this one. I am a little disappointed that they decided to use the opening and ending from the second season up until the last few episodes. It's also got similar wacky stuff that honestly make more sense than in the first two seasons. Or maybe it's because I've become used to it at this point. I'm not exactly sure anymore.
There really isn't much to say. I feel like I don't like this season as much as the previous season

because it's no longer a novelty to me and it makes me feel bored, but I still enjoy it for what it is. Also, there was one episode where Miss Monochrome becomes a bit of a jerk and I felt like that was out of character for her. And they brought back Ru's ability to talk, which I'm not the biggest fan of. Still, I recommend it, as it's a continuation of the second series, and it's a nice way to end the story.

Welp, I ended up watching more knock-off Miku, and I'm surprised how much better this is than the first season. I think it helps that the story focuses more on the business side of becoming an idol. Plus, the length of the episode has nearly doubled! This definitely feels like the animation studio has gotten the hang of things when it comes to this franchise. They even fixed mistakes that were in the earlier episodes, like how in the first episode the robot vacuum suddenly talks but then they remove that in the next episode. It also helps with their experiments using a play on
...
words, such as the multiple definitions of an album and how they initially go on tour.
Episode 2 was my favorite episode - they did the Tokyo Drift! I was surprised that the robot vacuum suddenly gained magical transformation powers, but it fit very well in the context of that scene. I do wish that they stopped making Yayoi-tan so clumsy all the time, though. I find her constant tripping on nothing to be a bit annoying.
Episode 8 was weird. They probably needed to pad for time. I recommend skipping that episode.
The ending was somewhat satisfying, however Mana still owes Miss Monochrome from the first season!
I realize that I didn't talk about the music in the first season. However, considering that there was only one song, I don't have much else to say, other than the repetition was annoying. However, there are quite a few songs this season, and I enjoy them more than the song in the first season. Again, it felt like they were getting the hang of things this season. It feels like everything has more direction, from the anime to the music. Music theory-wise, I enjoy the ending theme, but I also enjoy the opening theme for its lyrics.
I still have no idea how she became so popular around this time, but I'm glad I enjoyed this one a bit more. Best part is you don't need much context from the first season in order to get into this one. All you need to know is she wants to become an idol, and you don't have to worry about the rest. There's just one more season in the main storyline, then a couple OVAs and the music clips. I'll let you know how those go!

All I could think of was "Why isn't Miku in this? Why is there a knockoff Miku?" I really don't see the difference between the two as characters, and I honestly find that Miku or any other voice synthesis would have been better than a human in hard autotune acting as an android. How did there even get to be so much Monochrome stuff during this time? They even make a Miku reference when they see a box of leeks! At that point, I started feeling like they were aware of the similarities, whether it was on purpose or not.

on Monochrome's design, particularly the torso part, which looks fairly uncomfortable.
The four-minute comedy episodes range from fine to painfully average, though the plot of the first episode irks me. This anime is also quite similar to Idolls, though different enough that I can tell the difference between the two plots. Still, both series try to be wacky but fail for the most part. And yet, I find this anime to be more boring than Idolls, and the plot points in this series kinda feel like they're there for no reason. At least in the first half. The second half does get better when it comes to a cohesive story.
The most interesting thing I find in this show, however, is what happened prior to the start of the series, which is revealed in episode 9. I think that a time loop would have been possible, or at least history would have repeated itself again, if episode 3 ended up having a similar fate. Still, I find that lore about society's past quite remarkable.
I honestly feel like most of the jobs she gets other than being an idol make her feel more fulfilled than being an idol, and it's cool to see what else she can do. However, it is an idol anime, so of course that has to be her goal. Still, if she decides to retire from that, I hope she returns to the things that fulfilled her, like farming and wrestling.
Overall, it's kinda boring, but it did get better over time. Still, I have no idea why there's so much knockoff Miku stuff. Well, I'll see if it gets any better.
