I have to give it an 8 since the ending was a complete letdown. I actually finished this in pretty much one day, and loved EVERY MINUTE, although I have serious qualms with the story. There is serious victim blaming throughout the story, the problematic characters besides the main characters and their familes don't change at all, remaining more or less bad people. The sidekick best friend was consistently amazing, though.

I cannot believe they threw away all the romance they built up throughout the manga just to leave the story off open ended. I know the story is about bullying, friendship, and redemption, but there's more to life and good story than just that. We also never really get to hear Nashimiya's side of things, like ever.
I don't know. The open ended nature of this manga left me feeling restless and bothered for a few days. It was SO GOOD then just got super dramatic in the end with no climax
