Both anime are mecha, or have mecha but dont concentrate on it so much. More are about the characters' psychological state and what they been through. And both main characters are searching fro something -Differences: Gun X Sword is a Western, RahXephon is a scifi. - Both have great animation and OST Both will make you cry and/or go wtf!

Both anime are Western genre and are very entertaining on top of that. Both main characters are really badass and have quirky personalities and will not fail to entertain you throughout the series. -Differences: Van uses a sword, not a gun - Gun X Sword has mecha but Trigun does not Both are great revenge anime!

...then you might like Btooom! add

Both anime contain a similar art style and nail-biting tension. Btooom and Death Note are both survival anime and require the savviness of the main characters to endure the torment until the end. -Key Differences? well Btoom is a survival game and contains a lot of action for being a survival game genre. However, bit have the same lasting impression and will keep you involved until the bitter end

Strangely enough both these anime is really similar. Similar kind of art style if that is what attracted you, but also similar humor. -Both have quirky "demon lord" -Both are in==enticed by the human world, in one way or the other. and plus, both are very funny and im hoping for more funny situations and stuff with Blood Lad
