Main guy is just your normal guy trying to help a bunch of girls with their issues. Their issues have realistic causes, but supernatural symptoms. There is also an obvious romance in both. Bunny Girl doesn't have all the word-play and quirky Shaft animation.

They are both survival sci-fi shows with a pretty grim atmosphere.

While I was watching Houseki no Kuni, I kept thinking back to Shinsekai yori. They're both set in a unique futuristic world with a young protagonist that has to learn some dark truths about society and life. Houseki no Kuni has a little bit more comedy, but they give off a very similar feeling of loneliness.

These two series give off the same feeling. They are similar for two big reasons: 1) the animation looks a lot alike and 2) the relationships that the group of students hold in each series are similar Sakurasou does not have that supernatural element though.

Both are romances with a quiet girl, a well-liked guy, and lots of misunderstandings. They are both sort of frustrating, in a way.

Kaichou wa Maid-sama!

Pretty obvious recommendation. The lead characters are similar between the shows (I liked Usui better than Kei though). And they're both romance and comedy with school related themes. The rivalry between the characters is a huge similarity. And both female leads are completely clueless. Special A went into more development on the side characters.

Special A really reminded me of Ouran. Lots of comedy, plenty of character development, and of course the obvious: a poor girl befriending a group of elite students. The endings really reminded me of each other. Special A is more romantic - and there are plenty of side romances as well.

Similar feel and humor. In Ouran, the big thing is host clubs, while in Maid-Sama the big thing is maid cafes - both of which always consist of dressing up and trying hard to appeal to their customers. And obviously the main female leads have some similar characteristics: poor, strong-willed, and followed around by some blonde boy who loves her.

Fighting tournaments. Spirit world and King Yama. Energy techniques. Yusuke even kinda goes super saiyan at one point. Also, Hiei and Vegeta are twins. They're both arrogant and awesome short fellows that aren't from earth and have spiky black hair. Difference is: YYH is a bit darker and the battles go by quicker than in DBZ. I liked YYH more.
