Well that was horrible. Good thing I read that it was an animix rather than an OVA before starting otherwise it could have beeen even more disappointing , not that it got an outstanding grade this way either. This was my first experience watching an animix and I can say with confidence that I will never watch it again. It was like watching paperdolls (etremely hot paperdolls, but paperdolls nonetheless) moving and talking. I couldn't even say "come to life" as they did not.
There is no reason to elaborate on the plot as you should not watch this unless you have read the manga. You will

My first impression were:
1) what's up with those two antennas sticking up from that girl's hair and 2) an anime about reviving a drama club? How very interesting...snooze. With these points in mind I started watching clannad and sadly my first impression did not change even an inch. The art of the anime is superb and after the first episode I actually thought this might end up to be one of my favourites. Quite clearly, it did not. This was due to the story, which tried to be very gripping and dramatic to the point that it drowned in it's own attempt. At the same time it was trying to ... Dec 30, 2011

If you are ready to indulge yourself in a colorful world with predictable actions, predictable lines, a cast full of bishounens, a lot of love confessions (as well as characters who desperatly try to deny their loveydovey feelings) and those superduper cutsey scenes then I would recommend this one. If, however, you are looking for awesome character building, groundbreaking ideas or something unique then you might want to spent your anime time on some other show.
I am an adult, I know all the reasons why I should not like this anime as much as I do, but I just can't help it. This is my ... Oct 3, 2011
Let Dai is an emotional rollercoaster. I don't think I've ever read anything so painfully beautiful that would leave me as empty as Let Dai did. While reading it, at times, I just had to go and read some really light shoujo as this manhwa was so heavy and I needed to clear my head. Nonetheless, I finished the 15 volumes in a matter of days.
What makes it so great? The art, for once. Breathtaking! Characters, I don't think there was even one character that wasn't flawed; all of them had sides that I did not like. The manhwaka does not let the reader off ... Oct 3, 2011

I think this a very overrated manga and not even the vampire theme, which I almost always love, could make this interesting. The female character is more flat than Netherlands and the male character would do much better as the ultimate seme in an yaoi manga. I also hate(!!) it when the first few pages of every chapter is repetition of previous events. Most of the people read the story in chronological order so there is no need to brief the reader in the beginning of every chapter.
I have no idea how I managed to finish this because I could have spent my time much ... Aug 31, 2011

I once read in a review that it is much more useful to write a negative review than a praising one. I agree with this one, however, I'm trying really hard to find words to describe this manga and I can not say anything else than it is absolutely beautiful. Is it the art? Not so much. The art made my eyes bleed sometimes and few times the characters' eyes made me think of those of a fish(empty, round, you get the point) but still, I can whole heartedly recommend this manga for everyone. At least if you like or have an open mind for

I'm not probably the right person to write a review as I read only three chapters, but at the same time I do not intend to read any further. Why only three chapters? I almost stopped reading after the second chapter after a comment "can I be your sex slave" but my curiosity got the better of me and continued on reading.
I love benging genders, shojo, harem etc. and my inner fan girl squels in pleasure when I can find all these themes in the same story. But this one? Don't bother. Yes, the art is nice and I like everything else except the plot. ... Mar 29, 2011

It took me a while to start reading this just because I didn't think I would find it interesting. If there is an anime version made of the manga, I usually like to watch it before reading the manga, but as the anime seemed a bit dull, I forgot all about it. However, last month I found myself without a manga to read and I got a hold of Fushigi Yuugi volume 1. As there was nothing better to do I decided to give it a try.
I didn't get captivated at first, it took me about a week to read the first volume but then ... Mar 17, 2011

Although I've read a lot of reviews somehow I've never written one myself. I just had to make an exception while reading this manga. This story irritates me so much but for some reason I am unable to stop reading it. It's addicting even though I just want to pull my hair out because of the main character.
This starts nicely with the main character having a brain and some attitude, but somehow slowly(or not even that slowly) she ends up being this ditzy girl who can think of nothing else except for the boy she likes. I want to stop reading after every chapter but ... |
