Sword Art Online: Extra Edition gives fans of Sword Art Online a little bit more to watch in the form of a full length movie.
Basically, half of the movie Kirito relives key events of the anime and Asuna, Suguha, Keiko, and Rika tell each other how they met Kirito while teaching Suguha how to swim. The other half, on the other hand is new content. The gang gets together, does a quest, nothing really important happens.
The latter half of the movie takes place in ALfheim Online, which is the setting for the latter half of the anime (which you already know). Everything looks beautiful, crisp,
...
and clean just like in the anime.
I personally liked it, it allowed me to look back at the anime while not have to rewatch it. It allowed me to remember how legendary Kirito and Asuna are. And unfortunately it allowed me to remember how much I hate Suguha or "Leafa".
I can't wait for SOA II and this just helped me pass the time. Nothing more, nothing less. 8/10
Thanks for reading.

When you look at the cover art of Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai (or Haganai: I Don't Have Many Friends) you just think meh.. just a simple Harem. But no and yes, sure the story is simple but there is true enjoyment in this anime. Let's delve into this anime and see why i gave this anime high praise.
Story-7/10
The story opens up with this dude coming to a new school with an
...
intimidating appearance. Then a girl appears and drags the guy into a club room saying that she is starting a club and your in it... and no we are not watching The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya. Than an "average plot" follows and there are some twists and turns and wacky harem/ecchi moments. Without a doubt it's an average story.
Art and Sound-10/10
Truly to an art standpoint this anime is stupendous. Even for a 2011 anime. As for sound i took the liberty of watching the English dub and i almost never have a problem with English voice actors. There was even some singing in a episode which caught me off guard of the characters that sounded so damn great.
Characters-9/10
I really like the character of Kodaka he's sort of a laid back type but also showed loyalty to his club members on many occasions. But im in love with this girl name Sena or "Meat" on this show. I don't really know what it is about her personality but everything else is *shades on* "picture perfect". I guess Hozora i mean Yozara is a exceptional character. Than a surrounding cast in the Harem adds more comedy to an already funny anime.
Enjoyment-10/10
As far as i am concerned i would not even write a review when I did not enjoy an anime. Truly i enjoyed this anime. I laughed, I enjoyed some eye candy!, but most importantly I laughed.
Overall-8.6/10
This is the first season and second season I have yet to see but if your looking for an anime to past time and to have fun with look no further it won't touch your heart like a Clannad or have any action scenes like Shakugan No Shana but it's a rom-com with a little bit of fan service. -Dennis

Before reading this please note that:
-This review will be broken down into two separate reviews, one for the season and one for the overall series
-This review may contain light spoilers
-This review is from the standpoint of a person who loves a good romance anime
**PART 1- THE SEASON**
For any reason that you are persuaded to not watch this anime, WATCH IT. This season is a direct sequel to the second season to the point where Yuuji has to choose between Shana and Kazumi. But something has gone wrong and Yuuji has disappeared. Then we learn that our main male protaganist is pursuing the role as
...
the leader of the Bal Masqué. I know it sounds a little fishy and it seems that Yuuji has become corrupted but i ensure you that he has his reasons.
Story-10/10
The story is what makes this season the best season of them all in the Shakugan no shana anime. There are twists and turns. There are sad parts, parts in which you can chuckle at, parts that make you frustrated, and parts that you will remember for the rest of your life. The whole thing about Yuuji and the Bal Masque is confusing and makes you want to punch Yuuji through the computer monitor but it is well put together and i applaud an anime with plot twists.
Art-9/10
I believe that i seen the same animations and quality of art through the 3 seasons (roughly 5 years) which is great but i would think that it could had changed for the better for a 2011 anime.
Sound-10/10
I'm almost always not a critic when it comes to sound but the soundtrack was AWESOME! and the English voice actors where great (like always).
Characters-7/10
I believe that this season added too much characters and gives back-stories for too much of them but then again the whole 3rd season is about a giant war. Still the character of Shana always impresses me, i believe that she is a very 3-d character meaning she has outside personalities like being harsh, but in the inside she has hidden romantic feelings and leadership qualities. Yuuji on the other hand i didn't really like until this season because i think he was indecisive at times and did things that went against Shana. This season Yuuji redeemed himself stating that the reason why he does what he does is for the people that he loves, like Shana. And then that whole thing about Margery and Keisaku is really great.
Enjoyment-10/10
Credit the amazing ending for the enjoyment because this season is just basically a giant cat and mouse game. Seasons one and two had a mix between comedy, romance, action, and school life. But war and romance are the only two themes in this season. Which is great for those who has came to this anime for romance (like myself) but not so great for the people who came to this anime for the sole purpose of action. Meaning that the battles were not that great like a Dragon ball battle or a Naruto battle.
Overall-10/10
This anime quickly shot up to one of my favorites of all time almost everything was spot on, the errors and bad things about this anime was quickly overshadowed by the all of the great things.
**PART 2- THE SERIES**
Oh it's been a hell of a ride through almost 80 episodes and there was a great payoff. Seriously Shakugan no Shana was a anime that had me quite surprised but i guess i should had knew it was good because it shared a lot of the themes from the familiar of zero which is up there as one of my favorites. This is one of those anime in which your not going to be moved by it like a Clannad but you are going to deeply enjoy it and cherish the memories of watching it for as long as you live because i know i will.

*As you read please note that the familiar of zero and FOZ are the same thing as Zero no Tsukaima*
As a finale of a (to say the least) LEGENDARY series in the familiar of zero i had very high expectations. I say that my expectations were above met. You should already know what the familiar of zero (FOZ) is all about but if you don't go ahead and watch the first 3 seasons before you read this.
Story-9/10
With all the annoying things from the 2nd and 3rd seasons (most having to do with being repetitive) I say do it again, push the boundaries of
...
love (and viewer morals) as far as they can go and see beautiful things come from it. I say that the plot is great but i don't know how many times i seen the same dang recipe in which you screw up then you make up and from that it's it only flaw. But there were some new twists here and there.
Art and Sound-10/10
I cant say that i'm a big critic when it comes to sound but i like both the opening and closing themes. As well as the background music that fits the mood of the scene. All animations were crisp and clean and characters were all looking up-to-par.
Character-9/10
Characters are probably one of the hugest advantages over animes. I got to say i did not like some of the characters from the start (I'm looking at you Mr. de Gramont) but over time they start to build on you and you accept them. But some characters i think get in the way with the plot and friendships too many times.
Enjoyment-10/10!
If i could give the enjoyment anything higher i would, but a 10 would have to do. Ah the memories as i look back at this season is such feeling of overwhelming joy. You will laugh, you will be in a state of awe, you will maybe even shed a tear. YOU WILL ENJOY THE FAMILIAR OF ZERO!
Overall-10/10
This anime shot to the tops of my favorite list for many reasons, it was funny and had romance, loved both of the main characters, and the exact last moment of the last episode led you wanting an extra episode (which can be good). It was just a excellent conclusion to a even more excellent series. If you for any reason are thinking about ignoring the conclusion then DON'T!-Dennis

It looks like the ole Rom/Com formula has poked it's face again and in b gata h kei that face is beautiful, sexy, and very very funny. You probably read the synopsis and seen that this anime is given an R+ rating and think that your going to have a nosebleed every episode, when the fact is that you will not. Wait wait wait... an anime that is focused around one girl trying to have sex 100 times has to have major nosebleed moments in just about every episode. Well the fact is that it is pretty gimmicky and what you will find is an
...
nearly perfect romance plot and a whole lot of funny moments packed into 12 episodes.
The plot/story gets a 10/10. The reasons for this is because while in the first couple episodes Yamada (the main girl lead) is set to bust her v card and have sex with 100 guys but it soon turns into something else. The formula is great and it's a great mix-up on how the conflict changes.
The Art gets a 9/10. It has clean, crisp, and excellent visuals that you would expect an anime to have for now on. It's nothing revolutionary but there is no flaws. Next is the sound which gets 9/10. Opening and the closing songs sound great and catchy. I watched the English dub episodes and i don't have a single complaint any of the voice actors. Each piece of music fit in with that given scenario. And again like the art it wasn't nothing revolutionary but i had no complaints.
The characters get another 9/10. It has it's share of stock characters and each character from kosuda to yamada to kanejou to chika each of them were a joy to see and learn about.
The enjoyment is most defiantly a 10/10 i mean hell i wish i could give it a 11/10. So funny. Great Romance. Great plot. Everything is just enjoyable and great.
To rap up i think b gata h kei is the best romance anime that i have ever watched (and i have seen a lot of them). If your just about to watch this anime just for the ecchi than don't because there is only about 2-3 scenes where there is nudity. This is a must watch for a romance and comedy guy or gal.-Dennis
