I don't hate this anime, and I can see why some people would probably enjoy this.

The story had some plot holes, but other than that it's ok.
The art is clean, but also on the average side with some nice effects.
The sound is where it shines,not with the english dub voice acting . . . but with the music.
The characters varied from good to dreadful. The main protagonist, Shirou, is particularly is retarded, but his servant Saber is ok.
As far as enjoyment went, I felt like every episode was just one fight after another. And what really threw my enjoyment of the ... series out the window was the sketchy hentai-sex type scenes thrown into the middle of it. Made it awkward to watch with my wife.

Pretty mediocre anime by my taste, but seriously, listen to the music and enjoy it.

This is THE most upbeat show I have ever seen in my entire life. It drives to make "the impossible POSSIBLE!" as quoted by one of the main characters. Though the story was incredibly simple, and the art was very reminiscent of Furi Curi, the show itself NEVER failed to engage me in a gripping experience. It deliverers a wonderful blend of humor, drama, and action all in one. I don't really know how else to describe it, except that it never fails to give me this warm feeling inside as though nothing is out of reach if you strive for it and "believe ... in you who believes in yourself." In conclusion, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is something that no one should be without. Everyone deserves a little confidence booster every now and then, and this show accomplishes just that.

Cowboy bebop is a very rare anime in the sense that there really isn't too much to the story, yet it is still a very entertaining and enjoyable series. It's is just about the only anime where the english dub is probably better than the japanese language version. On a personal note though, I enjoyed the Cowboy Bebop movie a little more than the show.
Definitely worth watching multiple times.
