i am a shallow man and i like seeing how rice and babies are made using detailed animation and 3rd person story telling.

like how my mother said "dont be picky with your vegetables" so i apply that same logic with isekai.

If you like Ascendance of a Bookworm and Gate: Jieitai Kanochi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri then you would get both experience on this series.
After reading 80 chapters I can say that this is a decent manga to pass your time on.

The MC is a young lady named Mitsuha Yamano after a freak accident she gained the ability to transfer from earth to anywhere she can picture, including the medieval fantasy world she first got into. After that she formulated a goal to save up enough money for her retirement so she uses her skill to sell stuffs from her world to the new one.

The ... first few chapters is typical isekai reveal some modern technology type buildup plot and then to nation building. Mitsuha has a more practical mental fortitude regarding conflict compared to other over powered main character who cant kill a fly and just want to save everyone including their enemies. She would always try to find a rational solution to fully utilize her one ability for the benefit of her new found home.

There is also quite a few scenes that would crack me up that would make the experience pleasant and relatable.

After reading the synopsis about a psychopathic murderous lesbian pedophile loli girl who is in a relationship with a 4 year old child. My first reaction is.

Yea..no..yea..no..yeaaa!

Happy sugar life is the new addition this season that currently have only 6 episode released as of this moment. And I already watched them all.

The main character Matsuzaka Satou, voiced by Hanazawa, Kana is a freshman highschooler that works at a cafe to finance her life with Shio Koube a 4 year old child(approx).

Story revolves how she maintains a nice appearance with people around her at school and work until her relationship with Shio Koube gets challenged. And ... yeah shit will hit the fan.

What would a psycho do out of pure love? Every scene would appear to be predictable but the very intricate execution of the feelings of the character and how it's drawn and presented makes it feel really unique and stimulating. And the moments of what she called happy sugar life brings out a different aura on the scenes that makes it refreshing.

The darkness of the plot will keep you glued in anxiety hoping that everything would work out but obviously wouldn't. And the kind of questions that arouses every episode will keep me hanging and waiting for more to come.

Overall this is a very unique genre and obviously not for everyone. But if you enjoy dark plots with a twist of eye gouging and pedo kissing then this is for you.

The only problem I have is that it feels like everyone here has a mental disorder but yeah I still enjoyed the show.

A heartrending piece that shows the magnanimity of human stupidity, self serving propensity and fickle friendship.

The story revolves around Yadomi Jinta and his friend Honma Meiko, which is already dead and after years of dealing with guilt surrounding his friend's death he starts seeing her(Menma) around the house and hangs around him like a poltergeist. With his childhood friends the crew of "The Super Peace Busters", their quest starts to grant Menma's wish so she can rest in peace. It is quite a cliche plot, a tear-jerker but still enjoyable specially for a mature audience.

Knowing the anime is created almost 8 years ago, the art ... is quite good for it's time. The details of the character's expressions and the right timing of stirring music tends to deliver the feelings very well. I really love the ending song tho it makes you feel really mushy.

The personalities of each character is relatable showing how corrupted ones intention could be. We've seen these types of people and knowing it makes you affected on how the story would unfold.

Overall the series is quite short, highly engaging, made me cry most of the time while reminiscing guilt, what ifs and what could've.

If you are dealing with a loss of a loved one, this is bad for you. If you are a masochist like me, this is highly recommended but I might never re-watch this again.

Don't let the cutesy shit fool you. I tell you, once you start watching this series, it will grab you on your neck and you will experience death by asphyxiation.

The discovery of a giant pit makes it the new frontier for adventurers and treasure hunters alike thus a city was built around it through time. We follow Reg and Riko on their perilous journey into the abyss to find clues about her mom's disappearance.

Two child on a sure way ticket to death is like watching a puppy cross a busy highway. You're sure it will get nasty and the suspense will cause severe deficient supply ... of oxygen to your body that arises from abnormal breathing.

The art is ghibli-like and very detailed, including the magnificent animation of the fight-scenes will keep your eyes glued on the screen.

Then there is the music, the feelings, the sadness, the emptiness, the adventure, everything delivered thru the magnificent OST of this series which was executed spot on. It's like experiencing final fantasy 7 the very first time.

The characters are cute, often-times clueless and that is the main reason you will feel for them when shit hits the fan. And by god I tell you, it will.

My infatuation on this series is still not over after watching it over 3 times. This anime is for adults, with the gore, the violence, the heavy drama and psychological effects that will remain after dragging you on an emotional roller coaster. And still on the top of Ed's all time favorite.

A perfect quote for a masterpiece that is Violet Evergarden. A child soldier that was used as a tool to kill enemies and obey orders. And when the orders stopped coming, she lost her way.

With the help of her former commanding officer's closest friend, we follow the transition of Violet Evergarden from a killing machine to an Auto Memories Doll who writes letters for their clients. Every episode comes with different scenarios that you know is fictional but it could've really happened and is relatable. It is all about personal relationships of the characters ... and how they choose to spend their time with their loved ones.

And yeah, when it is about human relations it can only mean one thing. Drama.

Often times you already predicted what is coming but due to the delivery of Kyoto Animation, their artwork, combined with perfect background music it just smash you head on. Bang! Then the tears just starts flowing and will leave you petrified.

Over and over and over again I re-watched some episodes and still get the same reaction. And if I have something more to ask, it's more episodes.

This one goes easily at my top recommendation list. If you want something with good story telling, perfect art, outstanding music execution and a very beautiful main character this anime is for you.

Cute girls doing camping things? Yuru Camp is one of the gems I found last winter season. It tells the story of the members of the Outdoor activities club, the solo camper Shima Rin and lastly the clueless Nadeshiko who happens to get involved due to her clumsiness.

The plot is pretty straightforward and it involves a lot of information about camping. Using narratives and other presentations that makes it easier to understand for those who haven't really tried going out to do this kind of activity.

With great art illustration of the landscapes it tends to give you the feel to want to go camping. Combined ... with the upbeat opening song that sets the mood to get up and go there, if you know what I mean. Topping it off with all diverse but likable personalities of each characters that makes this series a mix of all possible good things to happen. And I wasn't wrong.

Overall, Yuru Camp is a wholesome, heartwarming and relaxing series. If you want to watch something with your family or just enjoy a laid back anime this is for you.

Sometimes we all need to enjoy the simpler things in life. Recommended!

After watching the whole series it left a lasting impression on me that I have experienced something special, nostalgic in a way, that made me relive some of my childhood memories once again.

I followed the adventures of the hyper energetic Sat-chan, the well-behaved leader Yui and the sadistic console-gamer Kotoha, on all 12 episodes. Solving random cases to save their town or Pops(store manager) or just randomly fighting Saito (policeman). All these events are just heartwarming and not so over the top moe.

One of my favorite part of this anime is the opening song that sets the mood of the show. There is no ... big plot on this anime but it excite the kid inside of every audience.

Overall this is a wholesome show that everyone can enjoy. They really had a great time. And so did I.

A feels good anime with moe and full on harem, a bit of ecchi, an unpredictable comedy and tackles complex issue about human relations and how people reacts with the unknown.

Opening music sets it's tone, the animation and art is nothing spectacular. Which is fine due to the genre of this anime.

Due to the complex and like-able characters specially the main character, it's a heartwarming series.
