It's been a while since I've seen GunxSword so bear with me. Let me preface this review by saying GunxSword is one of my top five favorite anime of all time, but at the same time the entire anime is somewhat cookie cutter. I loved watching Hakuouki!
Don't get me wrong, the story is badly strewn together, there is literally NO character development, the characters are your cliche looking types, and the main character, Chizuru, is a worthless girl who only gets in everyone's way. Despite that, I still enjoyed it, but I'm biased. I love almost everything samurai related when it comes to anime and manga. So if you're like me, you'll enjoy it, if not, then don't waste your time. |
