Both anime Have bad ass main characters who are assassins with strong powers whom work for a secret organization. In DTB, Hei has an electric type ability, and in Code Breaker Oogami Rei has a flame type ability. Both involve humans with super-human-powers, not just the main characters, but most of the supporting characters as well. In DTB they are called contractors because they have to make a "payment" of sorts EX: smoke a cigarette, or sing, or fall asleep, etc. after using their ability. In Code Breaker they don't have payments, but they do have a limit of how much they can use their power before going "lost" which caused them to lose their power temporarily and it's effects are a little different for everyone, Both main characters have to kill people in their line of work and both act as though it's not a big deal and it doesn't bother them. They also both have a different public identity and a secret identity. I think DTB is a little more serious than Code Breaker. In my opinion both anime are amazing, and have great action along with a great story. I only wish they were longer so they could flesh out the stories some more. But because they are so short, they are both worth checking out. DTB (25 ep) Code Breaker (13 ep) DTB has a second season, and a short "in between" season, but they are not as good as the original and they story line is different, but Hei is still the main character. Code breaker has only 1 season.
