I was hesitant of watching this anime, because it was based on theatrical theme. However, I am SO GLAD I watched it.
One of the best anime I have seen ~
【Story】Rating: 9
I really like how it shows Kokona's growth throughout the anime. From being unexperienced, to finally having confidence and becoming the lead star of the plays she was given/signed up for. It also shows how very experienced actors, and colleagues respect & are amazed at each other's talents.
【Art】Rating: 10
I loved the artwork. The eyes are so beautifully drawn, and when they activate their 'senses', the eyes lit up. I loved how they made the
...
stage so breath taking. The expressions, and poses when they act are marvellous. Character designs are simple, yet memorable.
【Sound】Rating: 10 +
The voice actresses were awesome. The music blew me away. I loved the whole music album for this anime. I bought the insert song CD album because I love it way too much!
Top favourite songs are 'Farewell Song' / 'Masquerade' / 'Yumemi Zukiyo'.
Please check these songs out! (Of course all the songs in the anime are great too)
Also, I know that World Dai Star is also a game now. So they have multiple group units that have their music for the game play. I will be checking all the music related; because I think this franchise has really great music.
【Character】Rating: 8
I liked the characters. They all had different personalities and traits according to their 'senses'. The only issue I'd say are, that some characters ages were 11-13 years old. The anime didn't really portray their age well, as they seem way older. So that gave a bit of a weird feeling, knowing how young they were. Otherwise, I like the character growths, and the relationship bond between them.
Dugong the otter is adorable.
【Enjoyment】Rating: 10
Really enjoyed watching this. I will definitely rewatch again, especially the last episode! It's been a while since I had that doki doki & bittersweet feeling together. Like it feels bittersweet knowing it's the last episode and the anime is about to end. But it's so well animated, that the doki doki feeling lingers. Just mind blown.
【Overall】Rating: 10 +
I LOVE IT. Just go watch it! And listen to the music!

I actually enjoyed this anime a lot more than I expected.
【Story】Rating: 9
I like how the story isn't only focused on the main character, but all the teammates. Each character gets a bit of a background story; to how they were involved with sports, but due to certain trauma/reasons, they had stopped. And after joining the team RISE, they gained confidence through the support of their teammates, and friends. Also I like that all the enemy teams supported each other's games, and practiced together as well.
【Art】Rating: 9
The artwork in the anime itself is pretty good. Most scenes were consistent. The rating for this, is mostly
...
based on the ending theme song art. If you stayed until the very end, you will see the changes in art during the ending. And I also like how they added a short snippet of the chibi in the end of each episode. That is a very nice touch; similar to other music/game anime.
【Sound】Rating: 10
The voice actresses were really great for all the characters. Some newer, and some very experienced. The music was also really well composed, and sung. Everything was really a joy to listen to.
【Character】Rating: 9
Again, I really liked how each character is different (main group, and others). And for each character in Team RISE; they have their struggles which made them not continue to do sports. But through team work, friendship and support, the characters overcame the struggles. My favourite character in the anime was Saki. I also really liked Lise. They both stood out the most to me as they are the younger members in Team Rise, and also more energetic. Their friendship is also very cute too.
【Enjoyment】Rating: 10
I like the concept of Sports x Idol x Future Technology AI. It's quite interesting to add all 3 categories into one. I finished this anime within 2 days, which means I really enjoyed it. I hope to see more anime concepts similar to this.
【Overall】Rating: 9 (+1 for the support as it's so underrated)
Yeah, basically I am a fan of this anime. Cute girls, great vocals and music. Love that they played many different sports, and also showed their idol performances too. Enjoyable to watch as the girls work together, play fairly, and have a great time. In my heart, I hope there will be a Season 2. Otherwise, I will definitely recommend people to watch this. The rating for this on MAL, isn't well portrayed. I honestly think it should be higher, but that's just my personal opinion. Hahaha.

*** This review is for the first season of "Blue Friend" ***
A story that involves with friendship, love and trust. Without trust, it is impossible to become friends with others. And without friendship, it is very difficult to build a relationship that goes beyond it.
【Story】Rating: 8
I actually re-read "Blue Friend" twice. The first time I read it which was a year ago, I just thought it was an average shoujo ai story about two girls because chapter 8: After Days wasn't out yet. When I finally came back to reading this story again, it brought back memories and I was really touched by chapter
...
8 that I actually cried. I didn't give a 10 because there were some parts that felt a bit repetitive but overall it's a meaningful story.
【Art】Rating: 8
I really liked the artwork. I enjoyed looking at Misuzu's character appearance because I do agree that she is beautifully drawn. I also liked when Ayumu's hair grew longer in the latest chapter, it makes her more feminine. There's really nothing more to say other than this is my type of artwork that I find pleasure looking at.
【Character】Rating: 8
It is not the easiest story to understand the characters at first, but it gradually becomes clearer as the story progresses. There is one character which gave me the question marks at times, she is Azuma. I knew she wasn't a bad person from the start since she is trying to help Ayumu & Misuzu. But I think the way she expresses herself makes the audience either question her or dislike her. Therefore I was uncertain what her intention was. Otherwise, I liked both Ayumu & Misuzu.
【Enjoyment】Rating: 8
Well reading my opinions from above, I'm sure it's obvious that I enjoyed the manga. I don't usually re-read any manga more than once. So "Blue Friend" is really something that made me go for it.
【Overall】Rating: 8
I would definitely recommend this to anyone whether they are into shoujo ai or not. This manga is not only focused on the romance love, but also the true love of friendship. Supporting someone you care for without being influenced by others is not an easy thing to do. The moral behind this story is that we shouldn't judge a book by its cover.
On the side note, I recommend Eban Fumi (author)'s other stories. I read "Blue Friend - 2nd Season" and it's really good. It is a completely different story from this one with different characters. And I find the moral behind that one very meaningful as well. So please remember to check it out!!

"Last 10 Millimeters" is a really cute & short story that'll put a smile on your face.
【Story】Rating: 8
The story plot is very refreshing and it can definitely happen in real life. It was really cute how the main girl kept the lip balm and tried to find a chance to give it back to the owner. Also, the bus scenes were really sweet.
【Art】Rating: 8
The artwork was clean and simple. It was easy to read and I like the main girl's appearance.
...
【Character】Rating: 8
Both characters are nice and friendly. I do wish there were more conversation between them during the bus scenes.
【Enjoyment】Rating: 8
I really enjoyed reading, and the name of this one-shot is something meaningful. It was the "last 10 millimeters" of the lip balm which brought these two to talk with each other.
【Overall】Rating: 8
This is something I'll definitely read again in the future.

The name of the anime says it all "Fantasista Doll": an anime about dolls existing in fantasy brought to the real world. It is about the relationship between the dolls and their master.
【Story】Rating: 7
The story plot is predictable throughout the series: the main character Uzume signs a contract which leads her to owning 5 dolls. Other players have to duel with her in a battle and steal Uzume's cards in order to achieve their goals. It is pretty straightforward, however in some episodes it was confusing to understand right away. And because of the confusion, some points were deducted but nevertheless it was still a
...
good story.
【Art】Rating: 8
The artwork is quite nice, especially the eyes. I really liked looking at the different eyes of each character. The outfits and hairstyles are unique reflecting on each individual's personality as well as their master's. Everything was very colourful and enjoyable to look at.
【Sound】Rating: 8
I liked the music and sound effects played during the battles, and the VAs (seiyuu) all sounded really nice. I didn't give a 10 because I think some of the voices could have been a bit better. For example, Komachi could've sounded more stronger and powerful during the battle in the final episode to display a more compelling impression. Overall, I love Sasara's voice the most.
【Character】Rating: 7
Uzume's personality is very kind hearted but she has trouble making decisions on her own at times. Therefore her emotions sway from time to time not knowing how to choose the next few steps, thus with a little push from her friends, she was able to resolve those problems. Uzume's dolls are laid back and fun to be with, Sasara stood out the most for me. Her personality, voice and appearance caught my attention and that is why she is my favourite doll. Other characters didn't stand out too much for me but I was happy Kagami chose true friendship over a wish she wasn't sure if it will be fulfilled or not.
【Enjoyment】Rating: 7
I am always a fan of shoujo, moe, magic type of anime so I really enjoyed watching this series. I even cried at the final episode because it was touching and I couldn't have asked for anything better than that.
【Overall】Rating: 7
I personally think this anime is pretty good and I will consider re-watching it again in the future as well as recommending it to others who likes this genre. Although the story is very fictional and impossible to happen in real life, I could still see the meaning behind it. The anime taught the audiences to value friendship and cherish each person that has been there supporting us the whole way. The relationship between the dolls and their master wasn't all about obeying rules and acting as servants. It was about the moments spent together and sharing them with everyone. No one is alone because there is always someone out there who cares. This is what I learned from the anime and I'm glad I watched this.

What is something you would spend your 23 minutes on per episode, that'll make you very tired of laughing? The answer is "Binbougami ga!"
Here's a review based on my opinions after completing the anime.
【Story】Rating: 8
Binbougami ga! is not only known for its humour, it also teaches the viewers a lesson in life about sharing, respecting and caring for others rather than being selfish; only thinking about ourselves. It also displays how anything is possible if we look beyond what's there. For example, Ichiko, the well known beauty queen of the class who's perfect at everything, totally self-centred, pretty much you can describe her as
...
a "snob". Well let me say, even she can change into a more caring person with the help of Momiji, the goddess of misfortune and others.
【Art】Rating: 8
The art in Binbougami ga! is nice, although it's not the best I ever seen, however it can range from simple artwork to really nice ones. However I would want Momiji and Ranmaru to actually wear the school's uniform throughout the anime when they're at school. I mean wouldn't the school not allow students breaking the dress code rule? Having Ranmaru wear a blue outfit and sandals can quite make her stand out especially when she has bright pink hair and the binds wrapped around her chest. Although Momiji for the most of the time is wearing a uniform, but it's nothing close to the school's. Despite that, judging from the character designs, it's still nice and you can see everyone's characteristics.
【Sound】Rating: 9
The music and sound effects are pretty good but I would say sometimes, the voice acting may over-exaggerate a bit yet it still brings out the goods of this anime. I was really surprised when I heard Hanazawa Kana (voice of Ichiko) change her voice tone in this. Let's just say all of the Seiyū are amazing with the change of tone, expression, range and emotions of the voice. Great work guys!!
【Character】Rating: 8
The characters are just spectacular as viewers can see both the main character's two sided personality. For Ichiko, she may be called the beauty queen among the male classmates, but when you see the other side of her she can be a snob. On the other hand, Momiji can be really lazy but she gives out good advices to the viewers and of course, to our Ichiko. When you put these two together, they make the perfect pair and can create many memorable humorous acts. Although as I mentioned before that sometimes they tend to over-exaggerate, anyhow it brings out the joy of laughter to everyone.
【Enjoyment】Rating: 9
I really enjoyed watching Binbougami ga!. I laughed throughout every episode and I wondered to myself "how did they come up with that idea? that's awesome!". I just can't get enough of this with only 13 episodes, I hope for a second season to be on its way soon.
【Overall】Rating: 8
To be honest, at first I was reluctant to watch this however after completing the whole thing, I must say that Binbougami ga! has become one of my personal favourite anime. It is an excellent anime to watch when you want to relax especially having great big laughs in almost every episode.
So if you're looking for a worth to watch anime, Binbougami ga! is the right choice for you. It is just marvelous.
