Life and death situation within a video game. Please note that this movie was made WAY before SAO. One difference is that Detective Conan has a big mystery/case within the movie. SAO just shows the adventures that Kirito goes through.

Well, I'd say the story of these two are pretty different but they both have killing. SnK is more about killing titans/giants. AgK are about assassins trying to get revenge on the capital. What's similar about them are how the author doesn't care who in the world dies. Have fun reading.

Both MC a reluctant to play in something they're good at because of something that happened in the past. Saki- Mahjong, GuP- Panzers Both the girls also have a somewhat strained relationship with their older sisters. In both series, the club tries to reach nationals Both are entertaining to watch with all the action, so have fun!

Both have a guy/girl attending to a school that was once all guys/girls. That's pretty much it. The plots are pretty different...there is romance though.

In some aspects, these shows are pretty similar in that they both talk about Japanese games. Shion no Ou is about shougi and Saki is mahjong. Shion no Ou is probably a bit more serious though because it has a mystery element to it. Saki is more comedic.
