Beautiful music, beautiful animation, and a wonderful and original story combine to make the best anime I've ever seen. I loved it from the very start. It made me want to cry almost every episode.
I'm really digging for something to critique here; all i can come up with is that the gravity of the situation the characters find themselves in during the final arc seems rather sudden. BUT THAT IS A STRETCH to say the least. This anime delivers, and the story is wrapped up very nicely. A coming-of-age of sorts, about discovering the complexities of emotions while inadvertently helping others do the same.
