doukyuusei has fallen off, in my opinion
the first volume was great! it was a little fast paced and had its flaws, but god, the story should have stopped at around volume 2. i feel like a love story like this should only involve two characters and some supports. kusakabe and sajou are fine on their own.
the new characters introduced in this volume (having appearances in the previous ones , usually not huge ones though) include hara sensei and sorano. great, we get a greasy old man who abuses his adult power and uses it to be a child predator. sorano was his STUDENT. i

what is the plot?
i love bungo stray dogs, it's one of my favorite anime. dead apple has a lot of noteworthy, interesting plots contained in it, the antagonist is weak and boring. we don't know anything about him, or his motives. he's got to be one of the worst bsd villains. i love movies that have a lot going on and are fast paced. however, what the actual hell was going on here? most of the stuff shown on screen didn't correlate to the other scene whatsoever. my brain hurt trying to piece everything together. if you ask any BSD fan, "Hey, what was the plot ...

absolutely horrible. this anime glorifies emotional dependency and abusive relationships. "Either not be friends with me, or sleep with me!".
youd think that since kousuke and masahiro's relationship is so horrible that youd get side relief from oshiba and asaya's, but theyre equally as bad. one has an atrocious age gap where one is quite obviously less emotionally developed than the other, yet the HIGHSCHOOLER is somehow still PARENTING his TEACHER. while oshiba and asayas relationship is good in most sides, the way they got together was so hard to watch. asaya pressured oshiba into sleeping with him when oshiba wasnt comfortable with it. .. do ... |
