Ah Wotakoi, you were probably my biggest disappointment in the shoujo genre.
It all started with a promising ideia, it's not everyday you see a romance story between adults, I know that I haven't seen a lot of those, and instead of showing a different perception of what love means we got a bunch of 25 years old characters acting like teenagers and no development in the main couple relationship, and it doesn't even seems like anyone dates in this at all. Oh, and the jokes were also bad.
Besides that, there isn't a lot to say about this no because it's just generic and not funny,
...
and to be honest it would have been a little less better if the characters were actually teenagers because then their behaviour would make sense and match their age. I also disliked how obsessed all the characters were, I know it was supposed to be the "funny" part of this but it just wasn't, if anything it just made it more annoying and was treated like a reason to delay all kind of development.

An anime about people uncovering the truth behind allegedly miracles with science? Well, sign me up; that was my first thought. Now that I finished it, I wish I just hadn't signed up for this at all.
The first problem to point out is the opening and ending, I don't why someone thought that mixing animation with real footage would be a good ideia because it turned out so bad that I'm not even sure how to say anything about this, so let's move on to another problem: how the miracles are solved. They're supposed to use science to solve them and they kinda do
...
use it but at the same time they don't? At least it doesn't fell like it because in the end the main reason is always "evil people are doing it for Satan" or something along those lines.
The characters are really boring and Hiraga is specially annoying and the most dumb of the duo despite being the one who actually uses the science, and yet both of them are smarter than cops and well, almost everyone else. I'm not really sure of what the antagonist, if it's possible to considere him one, was supposed to do.
Despite all of that, what really killed the story was the effort to try to create a bigger plot to link all of the elements of the last two arcs because it failed, terribly. Instead of just focusing on the main task that was uncovering those so called miracles, they ended up solving murders and all sort of things that didn't have anything to do with their purpose and the worse is that they tried to make it seem like all of the events were connected, and personally I hate when the interests get so dispersed like this and at this point the focus was completely lost.
To say this one was a disappointment for me is an understatement, because the first arc is decent but after that everything went downhill and it just got worse and worse.

Yakusoku no Neverland had a good premise and a lot of potential to be a great story but it turned out very tasteless, to say the least. For an anime tagged with genres such as horror, thriller and mystery, it really lack those elements.
One of my biggest disappointments was that in the first episode we learn that the characters are under a huge eminent threat and yet we don't feel like it, instead they keep living quite peacefully after that.
After that, there isn't really much to say about this. The characters lack more depth, the twists are forced and tiresome and on the top
...
of it, everything needs to be detailed explained because most of the time all of the information is not shown which makes it impossible to form any conclusions and enjoy it, because it's necessary to wait until the last minute to understand what is going on.
As for being considered one of the best anime of 2019, Yakusoku no Neverland is really disappointing due to what it could have achieved if done correctly.

This review contains minor spoilers (I guess?)
I truly had great expectations with Psycho-Pass and it's potential and in the end i only found disappointment. For a story that could be deep and well developed, what was presented is very shallow to say the least.
We are shown this futuristic scenario but most of the necessary explanations to understand it are left aside, and until the end a lot of "how's" and "why's" remain unanswered. And to complete it, i can only assume the characters just exist for the sake of the "plot" because they have little to no personality of their own and overall aren't likable.
My
...
biggest problem was it Akane, she was probably the most boring, annoying and lifeless characters I've seen in a while. In the beginning I though I could like her because seemed to have a more righteous sense of justice than the one that ruled their reality, but that's only on the first few episodes, after that she was just downright oblivious and naive, even with all she had seen in her job. After all that said let's get to the real problem with Akane: honestly she is everything I despise. At first I though she was only a victim of alienation by the system, but when she finally acknowledged the truth she decided to do nothing about it because society was happy living in ignorance and she didn't want to ruin it for them. I'm sorry but i cannot stand characters that conform with such a distorted reality.
The only character I can say was likable in the slightest was Makishima. At some point i sympathized with his cause, but it was for only a brief moment because the reason behind his desire to free society was never shown. Was he doing that because of some background story? Or was just for fun? Or just for the plot's sake? Who knows, who cares
And then we have Kogami, he's brilliant and does not have an ounce of charisma. At first sight he might like your average badass character: listen to no one, does what he wants and smarter than everyone. But only after a short time he started to listen and care about everything Akane said or told him to do, and why that happened is beyond me. I'm not even going to enter their boring and unfounded relationship.
Characters and story aside, some dialogues are very interesting and leave you think about some important matters, such as the impact of technology on our lives and about the system itself and it's alienation, and I personally enjoy those kind of things. It also had one of the greatest and most disturbing scenes I've seen that represents all of what i previously said and I have to give credit for it.
Psycho-Pass could've been a great story but it was poorly executed and the characters only worsened the situation, don't expect it to be about blowing up dictatorial systems or the likes of it. I guess that part of of my disappointment was due to having such expectations and receiving the complete opposite.

This season of Kaguya-sama falls into the same issue as the previous one: it goes around in circles and gets nowhere. Don't get me wrong, it had some really funny moments and it was very enjoyable to watch, but when you look at the big picture it's just... disappointing.
The main characters had little to no improvement, and only one of the side characters had an arc where it actually led to development. Also Kaguya had her personality completely changed, in the first season she was a hardcore tsundere and always had a scheme to manipulate Shirogane, but now she turned out into a stupid
...
and annoying schoolgirl. Most of the time, the side characters are more outstanding than the main ones because, yes, the main characters are that bland.
Other thing that really bothers me is in every situation someone needs to win or lose, but why? It's not like they are keeping a score or this will change the outcome later, they are in fact totally useless since it won't led to any relationship development between the main characters, it just makes everything more frustrating.
Like i said before, this season was funny and enjoyable to watch but that's it, don't expect mucha more than that. There are some major problems with the characters development and the story in general, since most of the time the show just tries to have the characters in fun situations it doesn't really pay attention to, well, anything else. Hopefully a third season can fix all of this in the best case scenario.
