A beloved classic I wasn’t originally the biggest fan of years prior.
I have a love-hate relationship with Kimi ni Todoke. A super duper slow burn shoujo romance is not for everyone, but Kimi ni Todoke’s first two seasons were on a whole other level.
Why even watch the third season, then?? I kinda wanted to see what happened.
The third season of Kimi ni Todoke does everything right that the first two seasons built up to, without being mind-numbingly boring.
Beautifully written character arcs for the lovable side characters were not overshadowed by Sawako and Kazehaya’s lackluster and frustrating relationship that DID have genuine growth this time
...
around.
Best characters hand down were Ayane and Kento. The amount of development for these two characters were insane.
Watch season three with a grain of salt. You may hate it or love it.

Fairy Tail is a cliche shounen series with friendship speeches, characters lacking development and a predictable story line, yet is one hell of an entertaining ride. Keep in mind, this series isn't for everyone. If you enjoy watching series with wasted potential, then Fairy Tail is for you. I could never find myself hating this series no matter how badly written the final arc was because the past arcs always remind me of how good this series can truly be. Most of the characters are really likeable (although some are ruined later in the Alvarez arc) and most of the fights are engaging. This series
...
has the greatest art I've ever seen and I feel like this is something Hiro Mashima should be given more credit for. The point I'm trying to get across is that everyone should give Fairy Tail a chance because it's truly a solid(yet cliche) series (up until the Alvarez arc) and all the hate this series receives is kind of overwhelming.

"A mischievous, roasted dango...a sweet bean dango...
Gather them up and it's a family of 100!"
Tomoya Okazaki is that mischievous "dango", or rather a
misunderstood youth who has a hard life and has barely
any friends, except for Youhei Sunohara.
Nagisa Furukawa is that sweet "dango" who has an extremely
weak body and is always missing school. She is lonely and
has no friends.
...
That family of 100...are the friends that both
Tomoya and Nagisa make throughout the series.
Clannad is an anime bursting with vivid animation and a
soundtrack that compliments its high quality animation.
Not only that, but a majority of the characters have unique
personalities and interactions with one another. With positives
likes that, what makes Clannad only an 8?
Unfortunately, it does have a few faults.
Some characters like Nagisa(only in season 1)
and Ryou are pretty bland, especially Ryou.
Tomoyo and Kyou should've gotten more screen
time for their arcs. Speaking of arcs, they are
poorly executed from a critical point of view.
Nagisa is gone for a chunk of the show and
Tomoya still ends up with her? Yea, that's
really dumb.
Overall though, Clannad is a great series!

Something quite cliche can be something quite enjoyable to the viewer.
Story-(Rate-6)
Nisekoi's story isn't anything original.
It's actually "Love Hina and Oreshura smashed together" when you think about it.
It's execution?
It's fair, but it really bogs the anime down when there are constant interruptions
in ACTUAL character developing moments. Also, the ending is really lackluster.
...
Art-(Rate-10)
This show was animated by Studio Shaft and it doesn't disappoint.
It's bright vivid colors really stand out, bringing out the true beauty of this anime.
However, the "bubbly shoujo background" is used WAY too often.
Sound-(Rate-7)
The soundtrack serves it purpose, but is surprisingly good.
It's peaceful to say the least. Also, the openings are really good.
The japanese dub is EXCELLENT and no english dub is needed in my opinion.
Characters-(Rate-10)
Stereotypical? Yes.
Unlikable? No.
Being the best part of this show, I fell in love with every character this series
had to offer. I felt like Raku had very strong bonds with each of the girls, which
is very important in a romance anime in my opinion. Now as for my "best girl",
I had a hard time picking. But in the end, I'm tied with Chitoge and Seishirou.
I love tsunderes, so Chitoge was right up my alley and Seishirou was so badass,
yet so cute, so I couldn't stop loving her. As for Marika and Kosaki, I found Marika
very annoying, yet surprisingly funny and Kosaki very charming.
Enjoyment-(Rate-10)
This series had me laughing really hard a lot
and I truly loved every single moment of this anime.
It's not the best romance anime to date, but it's one
of my favorites out of pure enjoyment.
Pros-
-lovable characters
-vivid animation
-catchy opening
-superb voice acting
-really funny
Cons-
-lackluster ending
-interrupted character development
-repetition of some jokes got too old
-BUBBLY SHOUJO BACKGROUND IS USED WAY TOO OFTEN
-Marika was really annoying
-Where's my season 3?
Rate Overall- 8.6 (Rounded to a 9)

KyoAni is known for their moe slice of life shows like K-ON and Lucky Star,
which had a hard time grasping my attention since they were SO boring.
I honestly thought Tamako Market was going to be the same, but was I wrong.
Story- Tamako Market has little to no plot as it is a slice of life comedy.
However, the overall concept for this show was quite unique.
I will admit, I loved how there were small "subplots where" Mochizou
...
tried to catch Tamako's attention. I also have to praise this show's comedy,
as I laughed out loud a lot of times. Comedy in anime is usually cliche and
repetitive, but the way it was handled in this show really surprised me.
[Rate-8]
Art- This is KyoAni we're talking about.
Their art is always high quality and beautiful.
[Rate- 10]
Sound- The soundtrack was pretty memorable.
Also, that opening theme!
[Rate- 8]
Characters- While they lack in depth, they are all so lovable and so cute.
My favorite by far is Mochizou Ooji.
[Rate-9]
Overall, this show truly surprised me and I really enjoyed it.
Yea it's not perfect, but it sure is quite amazing for a SOL comedy.

I'm being serious when I say this is the best anime ever.
Everybody hates on this show, but they don't know how great it is.
I'm here to praise Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu to its fullest.
Story-
It's very unique and intriguing.
What's not awesome about a high school student
who has god-like powers and she doesn't know this at all?
[Rate-10]
...
Characters-
This show has a wonderful cast of characters.
Kyon is a wonderful male lead.
He's snarky, sarcastic and gives great narrations.
Haruhi is crazy and a whole lot of fun!
She's also selfish, arrogant, and does what she wants.
I've always loved Haruhi because of her eccentric personality.
Mikuru is a moe blob time traveler who does a great job of parodying her stereotype.
I really like Mikuru but I wish she developed more in character.
Yuki is a kuudere alien who is very important to the story.
She has great character development in the movie with Kyon, but not in the show.
Itsuki is a bishounen esper who is important to the story as well.
He explains to Kyon everything that's happening around him.
I really love how Itsuki always agrees with everything Haruhi does.
I wish he developed more in character like Mikuru.
Ryoko Asakura should've appeared more because she is a great side character.
Tsuruya was so much fun and I wish she appeared more as well!
Taniguchi was hysterical because WA-WA-WA-WASUREMONO.
[Rate-9.5]
Animation-
Flawless. Outstanding for 2006 standards.
[Rate-10]
Sound-
The English dub is superb.
Crispin Freeman and Wendell Lee for the win!
The Japanese dub is wonderful as well.
The soundtrack should be in a museum.
It's so happy, upbeat, and memorable.
I'll never forget God Knows or Hare Hare Yukai ever.
[Rate-10]
Enjoyment-
I've watched this entire series
7 times in a row and never got bored of it EVER.
It's a lot of fun and always made me laugh.
It's the only show I've ever watched
where I have a smile on the entire time watching it.
[Rate-10]
Pros-
-unique story
-great characters
-outstanding animation
-dub/sub is superb
-soundtrack is memorable
-a lot of fun to watch
-many comedic moments
Cons-
-lack of character development for Mikuru/Itsuki/Yuki
-side characters need more screen time
Overall-
Best show I've ever seen.
You must watch it.
It's masterful.
Overall Grade- 9.9/10
