"One for all....All for victory."
This is a spoiler free review everyone! ^^
Everyone had high spectations on kiznaiver and I did as well. Everyone was specting a Kill la Kill like-story. And that's not what we got at all. And honestly I am kinda glad trigger changed their shonen go-to perspective and try to innovate with this seinen directed story.
Well then let's jump to full-on review!
STORY AND SETTINGS:
The story revolves around a group of students from the same class, all with different personalities, that are selected to participate in the project "KIZUNA" that it's a project to connect or bond with other individuals by sharing
...
pain/wounds. The whole city they live in was just created for the purpose of this project, even though their citizens don't know.
It's a pretty interesting concept, and even though trigger has had another animes about "human interaction/connection" this was a pretty fresh approach to that. They d set the purpose of the anime very clear since the beginning and that's an A+ for me. Since it's set aroud a very sci-fi looking setting, but a little bit more modern and "today-looking." So we can see relatable characters interact with each other and kinda develop and grow at a same pace which is really nice.
I think the story is original and enjoyable. The only thing I have to complain' about it, would be the huge time they spent in explaining the love tiangles.
ART AND OST:
I think the artstyle/visuals took a huge role on this anime. The colors, the shading, the backgrounds... could really tell you what was going on in each scene. They artstyle was pretty clean and inviting. The animation is smooth looking.
As for the soundtrack, it is not epic or memorable but pretty likeable, since it's full of energy and techno infuses.
CHARACTERS:
Kiznaiver doesn't have those memorable, overheroic and sacrificial characters. Other tan that they just show teenagers with different and pretty clear personalities. One good thing that this anime did was it's characters.
Because they clearly showed their strength and their weaknesses and balanced it out, this also made them interact with one another in different ways. They are all pretty exciting and heartwarming in differnet ways. Tenga will probably stay in my memory for a long time (haha).
OVERALL:
Kiznaiver was not the best anime of the season, but it' close to my heart.
The characters gave me a bit of tears, laughs and reminded me a lot of my own group of friends which was really important, and I think everyone could relate to it, becuase it touches a human weak spot that is realating to other human beings.
For me this anime was a great methapor for "Putting yourself in the shoes of the next person." And it teaches us that we can understand each other and what they feel, but we would never connect to at 100%.

Spoiler free review everyone! ^^
"There is a way even in difficult times."
I think that's overall the message of this series, and they use a pretty fresh "non-cliche" kind of showing it to the viewers.
Let's break this diamond into pieces, and I'll tell you some of the hits and misses:
BACKGROUND, STORY AND SETTING:
The story focus on Atsuhi, a boy that has been kicked out from his orphanage due to a strange reason he still can't comprehend. And thanks to a kind action towars a man with Suicide Tendencies (Dazai) he ends up being involved in a company of supernatural detectives, each with it's own
...
talent.
By that t's pretty interenting in it's own.
The story revolves around a bunch of cases; and every one of those makes you learn a little bit more about the main character and the important side characters. That makes the anime go smooth, without not to much obvious exposition and it's pretty complementary.
What it's good about this anime, is that the min characters have a low of balance between them, and the moral of the good guys and bad guys can be very questionable. And you end up liking both sides.
ART AND SOUNDTRACK:
Just look at the intro. What I like about Bones studio is that they give each of their animes a pretty "remarkable" artsyle. And this one is full of color without being overwhelming. It's really pleasing to see and eyecatching. That paired up with the awesome rock-electro tipe of music gives you an awesome intro and so much of an aweosme background fighting music.
As for the ending, it is a huge contrast, being mre calm and story-like.
CHARACTERS: So this is my favorite part to talk when it comes to BSD, cause it is brilliant. For the ones who don't know, every relevant character in the series is named and inspired after a classic (mainly japanese or American) writer. And their powers as well.
Without knowing this the anome is still great to see, but if know this fact and know the authours that inspired this character the anime becomes more interesting and a lot of fun to catch references.
One complain is, that we do not see much character developmet from other characters that are not the main one, and that is kinda sad since the rest of the cast would be so interesting.
TIME RATIO AND EXECUTION:
As I told you, this anime doesn't go on a slow pace, but soemtimes I wished they could explain things a little bit better. I think than even when the motive of the "good guys" it's pretty clear, the one from the bad guys is kinda blurry and not that understandable. You can still figure it out by yourself, which is fun but I would have loved a little bit more depht in that part, and maybe I think that was becuase this season was just 12 episodes.
OVERALL:
Bungou Stray dogs was pretty impressive snce my first impression on this anime was that it was going to be pretty goofy and for comical purposes, but it ended up being more than that, the story is on cliffhanger and I am totally looking forward to see the second part of this o October. If you like omedy, you will like this. If you like action, you will like this.

Dangan Ronpa makes a great original start for a very deep, large and obscure story.
This is the review of someone who, by seeing the anime, got to know the game, thinking the anime was so great. And to my surprise when I played the game and came back to the animation, I felt fairly dissapointed.
The anime has some hits and misses and here's what I want to point out:
1)DANGAN RONPA HAS SUCH AN AMAZING SETTING It's a story about 15 greatly gifted students that made it to the most prestigious institutes. Thanks to their talents, they are "the hope" of our next generation.
...
After entering the school, they find out they have been locked in there and the only way to get out is to kill somebody forced by "motives" that the headmaster gives them.
And I think this was ONE OF THE HITS of the anime, since they can explain the premise really well and work with it. Making it into a great mistery/detective anime.
2) THE CHARACTERS: While playing the game, you get to know each one of the characters when they introduce themselves, getting a bit of their personalities and their motives and aspirations, which makes you undersstand their actions later in the game.
Each charater is so unique and with a total different personality, making it my favorite part of Dangan Ronpa.
The animeDOES NOT DO THIS, every introduction is rushed, and you only get to see the superficial part of them. So later in the anime their actions can seem pretty dull.
3)SO MUCH STORY SO LITTLE TIME:
The game is pretty exptensive, since in them you got your epiloge, six chapters and the ending. Every chapter has three really well done parts to it.
You do a pretty exptensive investigation, get to know the characters in different situations. And a deductive part of it.
The anime, having only 13 episodes makes the plot-line of the story hard to understand at a time, cause a lot of details are omitted and it gets rushed, and I rememeber getting lost at some point.
I think that, a anime of 25 episodes would have been more aproppiate.
4) ARTSTYLE, ANIMATION AND SOUNDTRACK:
Dangan Ronpa has such a peculiar artstyle to it, gorgeous colors and the cutscene animations are stunning to see. The music of the game is pretty average and "backgroundish" but enjoyable.
THE ANIME DID SO GOOD ADAPTATING THIS: Since the artsyle is left the same as the game, it's not a piece of art, but it's so peculiar, different, colorful and refreshing.
I can say that the soundtrack of the anime is way better and a little bit more remarkable than the one in the game.
OVERALL:
Dangan Ronpa is a great mistery/murder series, that is close to my heart. The setting and the plot of it leaves you by the edge of your seat and it's a great door for a more deep plot to it (that I hope it gets reflected on Dangan Ronpa 3)
But the anime was a rushed mess of a good story, that takes a lot of good writting and details out of it.
Hope you find this helpful!
(sorry for the grammar mistakes ^^)
