Wagwan! Alexandre desu.
The Plot
Kakegurui Twin is a prequel for the main series and tells the story of Mary Saotome, and how she became one of the most feared players in Hyakkaou Private Academy. It depicts on how she was a transfer and didn't have any rich friend and how she uses her fast thinking to fool the other player during multiple games.
The Cons
The story is abysmal. It is the same formula for every game in this anime. They explain how the game is played, and then they try to fool the viewer to think that Mary was tricked or has fallen for a cheater move,
...
and in the end of the game the roles reverse and Mary is a gambling mastermind. That threw me off a bit because it is not relatable, it is not organic. I understand if a player is experienced in a few games, like dice or cards but, she has the knowledge of every game and every bit of information that a new player like her shouldn't have. And then you have lesbian love because Netflix tries to be inclusive every time and a side character that is only used for Mary to win the gambling room and later for the couple's game. There is no connection between the three of them and that is barely spoked about during the episodes.
The Neutral
I don't think there is nothing neutral about this anime because the cons cancel the pros so it became a neutral anime.
The Pros
If every anime had Mappa has a studio and the budget of Netflix, I think every anime would have this type of animation and music. It is fluid, it has motion, and the OST is appropriate for the theme.
The Conclusion
If you liked the parent story, you should watch this. It is the backstory of one of the principal characters. For newcomers, I have mixed feelings because it is an introduction to the main theme of the anime that is gambling and hierarchy status, but I don't think it does enough to appeal and create curiosity to pursue the anime.

Wagwan! Alexandre desu.
The Plot
It is the story on how Hajime became a killing machine. It depicts how years of bullying, treason, sex and violence can turn a ordinary boy into someone who gets off with the sight of blood.
The Cons
I'll try to explain what was the worst part. I think, when you are watching this OVA, you need to have some knowledge of whom Hajime is and does in the manga and what he becomes to understand how hard the other people actions did on Hajime on a psychologically level. It leads to nowhere to know the trauma if you do not have an idea
...
of what Hajime will become of that. You know what I mean?
The Neutral
There were times when the animation was good but where another times when it was dog shit, with the flickering and shaking.
The Pros
I think the story is the best part. It is understandable to see someone become extremely violent after the bullying and treason. The pier pressure put on Hajime's back is palpable, and that is a plus for me.
The Conclusion
I recommend if you are a fan of the manga and if you like extreme violence, jizz on the pants and feel social awkwardness.

Wagwan! Alexandre desu.
The Plot
It is a Hentai OVA. There isn't really a plot to be told. There is a center that helps young women in university to get a full or part-time job, and that center has only two boys, one hot and the other one is ugly. One day she gains the confidence to talk to the hot counselor but discovers him having intercourse with another student. Later on, she tries to confront him about the illicit act, after talking with a friend about what happen, and ends up getting fucked as well. She talks again with the same friend just to find out
...
that she is fucking the ugly dude, because he likes to be dominated, and she likes to dominate and humiliate during the sex act. You know, BDSM and all that. The friend convinces her two have an aggressive three-way with the ugly, as if that would happen in real life. In the end, she fucks again the hot counselor and discovers that he wants to be dominated as well.
The Cons
First, the animation. There are multiple scenes where the image is frozen, you only understand that there is something going on because of the voice acting. There are other scenes where there are just some parts moving, and the rest is frozen in place. Second is the voice acting. I guess they were just reading from the script and not watching simultaneously, and that trow me off the story.
The Neutral
The story is somewhat understandable. A young girl, in her late teens, early twenties, discovering what sex is and having hot thoughts about a hot guy. It is nothing new, but is ok, I guess.
The Pros
It is uncensored. But who wants to watch uncensored hentai when the sex scene is just a still image?
The Conclusion
If you think: "Let's watch this because it is so bad, probably is funny bad", don't. I think there was a honest try to make a good hentai, but they didn't have the means to do it or didn't know how to make it.

Wagwan! Alexandre desu.
The Plot
Wonder Momo is based on arcade game from the late 80s with the same name. I mean, based in a loose term compared to what this OVA is about. In the game, you play as Momo, who is an actress that gains superpowers and uses a hoola hoop as a weapon, performing in a theater play and each mission is an act. Every mission as the same setup. You fight the same group of minions and in the end you fight a generic boss. As you can see, there not much about Momo, no back story, no explanation, no nothing, except probably
...
by a short text about Momo on the side of the arcane to create curiosity to the player.
In the anime, they tried to create miserably a back history. She is a high school girl and wannabe idol, who gets her powers by an alien and her weapon by accident. She gets caught transforming by a student from the same school that wants to know her better. Later on, she discovers that the idol that she idolizes, has the same power as her and that there is a retired Wonder Momo, who I suppose is the same girl from the arcade.
The Cons
There is a lot of thing wrong in this OVA. It's repetitive and unimaginative. The backstory is nonexistent, the good aliens are some human lizards and the bad aliens are some random humans wearing a spandex suit and a red mask. The bosses are the most normal beings without a reason for attacking and their minions, only attack the same spots where both Momo and idol are. When she transforms, the sky turns red without a reason, the hoola hoop explodes every time on contact. There is zero reason for a character like the other student to exist even. As I said, there are a lot of things that are wrong and this list only enumerate some of them.
The Neutral
I think the animation is not great, but is not the worst. There is movement, there are fights that look like actual fights, but they tried to do too much. Per example, I can not think of a reason for the animators to use those "Pow" symbols that appear in the American comics when a punch occurs. And I understand why it ended that way, because there isn't really a story to follow or adventures planned, but they had Bandai money to create one more episode where the main characters invade and fight on the mothership.
The Pros
The time of the episode. Normally the episodes have 7:30 minutes of duration but the intro and outro takes like 2:30 to 3 minutes of that time, so you only have to endure 4 min of repetitive action and that is Plus for me.
The Conclusion
If the movie industry is proof that the game adaptation don't work, this OVA is the proof that probably anime adaptations of a game won't work either.

Wagwan! Alexandre desu.
The Plot
The title says Next, so you would assume it is the continuation of their previous work, but it is the prologue history of how Elile, Roji an Lifile met and what their goals. Elile, wants to become strong and trains every day to achieve that. Roji is a princess and heir of a kingdom. Lifile is a general in Roji's army. The plot is simple. Elile and Roji fell in love, but Lifile doesn't want that relationship because of the usual political stuff, he isn't a noble or comes from a good family, isn't strong enough is not fit to be king
...
and all that. The "movie" ends on a cilff hanger because Lifile proves to Elile that he is not strong enough and decides to end the relationship and run away to get stronger, maybe.
The Cons
The animation is probably the worst part. It looks like a PowerPoint with the transitions from left to right, up and down. There were some parts where I thought I was playing Pokémon on the Game Boy Color when you go to the grass and encounter a random Pokémon because the animation is the same. They re-use the same animation when Elile is training, like five or six times. And to give you an inside, the training is basically him swinging is blade on air (that he never uses on a real person).
The Neutral
Only Lifile, in my opinion, was the sane one in the all story. He had military and political motives to impede the relationship of the other two and for that, he receives bonus points but, and it is a big but, I am pretty sure he had pedophile thoughts about Roji, so negative points.
The Pros
My ability to forget about this anime in the next days is the best part of this anime.
The Conclusion
Do not recommend, even if you are a fan of the RPG game or you need to waste 25 min of your life.

Wagwan! Alexandre desu.
The Plot:
Basically is about a man and a young woman, who drive from San Diego, CA to Death Valley, NV to deliver an extraterrestrial being that is trapped inside a glass ball. It has all the well known aspects of a typical 80s/90s American movie, with a hot guy and a late teens woman, with the explosions over the top, high speed chases through the city, a beautiful car, product placement etc.
The Cons:
The worst part for me is the plot armor behind both main characters. They both survive multiple car crashes without injury. One of those crashes, they both fall off a
...
cliff, and then he simply turns on the car, waits for the girl to get in and drives off like nothing happen. They are not hurt, and the car doesn't have a scratch or a blown motor.
The Neutral:
I guess the stereotypical aspects of an action movie of that era. The chases, the espionage between east and west, the explosions, the simple plot from A to B, etc. In the end of the day, if the formula works why change, Am I right? That is why from that era all of those types of movies got forgotten.
The Pros:
The music slaps more than my mom slaps me when I forget to take out the chicken out of the freezer. From 20:35 to 23:50, sorta, I forgot I was watching the movie and enjoyed a lot, but I mean a lot, the baseline and the aesthetic of the video clip.
The car dealer didn't lie. As long as the truck has gas, it can still run.
The Conclusion:
It is not great, it isn't bad either. I like it, I've got my money's worth.

Takena, the creator of the well known "Shitcom", brings yet another clay animation, this time on a two part short movie about a man in the woods in a zombie apocalypse.
If you compare this to other works from the same author, you can see the evolution in character design and this time it has a history with a beginning and an end. The MC realizes the danger in from of him, defends himself, just to be attacked by a bigger threat. This type of scene is clearly not new in the movie industry, where it tries to demonstrate the resolve and
...
quick thinking of the MC, but it is an attempt by Takena to prove that he can create a piece with meaning and not poop jokes.
The sound is the worst of it, but it has good takes like the "Jesus" on part one and when the big zombie chokes the MC. The animation for the coughing is a bit suspicious.
It is not good, but it is not bad either. You can spend 5 min if you have the time.
Still better than I like it by Cardi B, Anime Music Video

Do not get fooled by the MAL synopsis, since it was used synonymous words to describe what this special is all about. I'm not going to lie, I am like an average man. I like boobs. Furthermore, I may or may not have some kinks, but this anime it was design to please a pedophile with a golden shower fetish.
Common man! We have to establish a line between what is acceptable and what is a felony in real life. We need to stop creating anime of something that can put you in jail for quite some time. It is supposed to be funny?
...
It is supposed to be something? "But Alex, they use metaphors to mask the sexualized acts demonstrated in the anime, so you can watch without felling guilty." Fuck you and your momma. The end of the anime depicts a little girl peeing herself. If you feel something other than guilty, remorse and weirdness, I've got some news for you.
Do not watch this. Please.

"Look out, it is coming back" - She's blind, dawg.
Let me be clear on one thing. I started this movie with some questions and finished with a lot more.
What was the point of the first scene? I guess dinosaurs are ok, but dragons are too much? Who was the guy riding the dragon? Why they were fighting? The ships can detect the black dragon, but only attack the blue dragon? Why did the blue dragon attack every ship? What was the connection between the dragons and the tower? Is the guy immortal? Does the guy have healing powers? Does everybody have the dragon
...
power within? Why does the black dragon explode when touched the water? And why does the MC ask if they succeeded when it was obvious by the megaton explosion? Is very dragon explosive? It was the tear who give her the vision back? The shape of destiny or the shape of the dragon? What was the point of the gun?
Am I supposed to play the video games to understand what is going on? If that is true, then SEGA forgot the key point to catch the viewer attention. Meaning. There is no palpable plot, no prologue, no cliffhanger, there is nothing. For me, it was not worth it.

After seeing the first part, we can see the evolution of the artist where this time there are more human traits in the main figures, however, some memories of his earlier works remain, such as the use of the hammer.
This time, instead of using different colors to represent the interaction between races, he used white such as blank canvas or to represent the supremacy of the Caucasian race in world capitalism. On the left side we have the representation of the 1% and on the right side the working class who, as shown, through various attempts to change working conditions and wages, the
...
1% always come out on top, using resources such as corruption, pressure groups and bureaucracies created by them. In the end, it tries to demonstrate that only the socialist utopia is the solution to today's problems, more specifically by the wage gap.
Or that a small hammer does damage, but a big hammer does more.
