Thank you! Actually, I can only remember his name... Haha. The story is so impressive. So when we talked about it, "Tithonus" was the first thing that came to my mind. I just googled it and here we are.
Of course. It's not just the parallel between Emiya and Tanjiro. And the parallel between Muzan and... I won't spoil it. You don't want to miss it if you enjoy Demon Slayer a lot.

Yeah. That's exactly how I feel, nunixlv. It is ugly. It is disgusting. In Greek mythology...
"Tithonus (/tɪˈθoʊnəs/ or /taɪ-/; Ancient Greek: Τιθωνός, romanized: Tithonos) was the lover of Eos, Goddess of the Dawn.[i] He was a prince of Troy, the son of King Laomedon by the Naiad Strymo (Στρυμώ). Eos is said to have taken Tithonus, from the royal house of Troy, to be her lover.[iii][4] The myth of Eos and Tithonus' love was known to Homer, who wrote that in the morning Eos rose from the bed she shared with Tithonus in order to give her light to mankind.[5]
The mytheme of the goddess' mortal lover is an archaic one; when a role for Zeus was inserted, a bitter twist appeared: according to the Homeric Hymn to Aphrodite, when Eos asked Zeus to make Tithonus immortal, she forgot to ask that he be granted eternal youth.[iv][v][6] Tithonus indeed lived forever,
but when loathsome old age pressed full upon him, and he could not move nor lift his limbs, this seemed to her in her heart the best counsel: she laid him in a room and put to the shining doors. There he babbles endlessly, and no more has strength at all, such as once he had in his supple limbs.[4]
In later tellings, he eventually became a cicada (tettix),[7][8] eternally living, but begging for death to overcome him."
Really? What a waste! I'm sure you'll have deeper feelings when you watch Fate/Zero and know what Emiya went through.

Muzan is very impressive. He seems to be wrong because he killed so many innocent people. I know it sounds crazy, but it doesn't matter what you did, but why you did it. Buddhism has been part of Japanese culture for a long time. Ashoka killed ninety-nine of his half-brothers and 100,000 men and animals in a war. He became a Buddhist legend.
Everything he did was to become immortal. Thus, he was the very opposite of justice. And Christianity. The scarier thing is that people like him were not fictional. As we know, Japanese kanji was derived from Chinese. You need to learn about ancient China if you want to understand ancient Japan. In China there was an emperor who was paranoid about his death. He became increasingly obsessed with immortality and employed many alchemists and sorcerers. Like Muzan, he took mountains of drugs and killed a huge number of doctors, in his case chemists. Unlike Muzan, he was poisoned by a mercury elixir given to him by his court alchemists and physicians in his quest for immortality.
And that is not the end of the story. The scariest thing is that thousands of years have passed, and more people have found him admirable instead of pathetic. People die. The only thing that matters is to become immortal. He is wrong not because of his end, but because of his means. So let's make the impossible possible. In America, people eat only meat or only vegetables to lose weight. In ancient China, people ate everything or nothing at all to become immortal.

Oh, I miss Tengen. The only thing that can make me feel better is that we can learn more about Shinobu in the next season!
Everyone loves Tanjiro. In fact, it is not London. It is Tanjiro when one is tired, one is tired of life. Yes. He showed that not everyone with a good heart is boring. He always devoted himself to the lives of others. Contrary to what the cynics say, the decision he made when he had to choose between Nezuko and some villagers whose names he didn't know didn't make him less respectable. She is the only family he has left. She is the reason he wants to be stronger. Without her, Tanjiro is just an alternative Shirou Emiya who loves people instead of individuals.
Hahaha! That's why I'm surprised. Actually, you can even be a mom... No, don't do that! Although children are a gift from God, most teenage mothers have suffered a lot.

By the way, Kimetsu no Yaiba is also my favorite anime. The story, the music, the art design is magnificent!
Actually, there are 7 seasons. Season 8 is not boring or disappointing. It is the worst of all time. The writer hasn't finished the ending yet. Unlike anime, tv series can't wait because actors and actresses get old soon. So HBO made a decision I hope they will regret for the rest of their lives.
It's exhilirating!

Isn't it more suffering than life imprisonment?
