Mixed Feelings
I remember stumbling upon Food Wars on Netflix during my freshmen year in high school. Now, admittedly, I was initially interested in the show because of its borderline hentai ecchi and as a freshmen in highschool I was horny af so it automatically had me hooked. With that being said it didn't take long for me be more invested in the story than the ecchi.

When I first found out about Bocchi The Rock I was confused to what the hype was all about. To me, it was another rockstar girl show like K-On! or something with very little to offer. Although, I never watched K-On I stuck with this opinion and decides not to give it a chance. Fortunately, one day I decided to give it a try and I dont regret doing so. Bocchi the Rock consists of very relatable main character known as "Bocchi" or Hitori Gotoh. She is an anti-social otaku shut-in who spends most of her days day dreaming of becoming a rockstar.

Youjo Senki (Anime) add
Saga Of Tanya the Evil (Youjo Senki) is set similarly the to actual setting of WW1 or WW2 in Europe. If your well knowledged with the history of those events you will find many similarities and references to them. Realizing these references and how the anime uses them to construct its own unique story is quite fascinating.

Furthermore, we are dealing anime here so the show adds its own special quirks like mages, magic, and technology that's very advanced for the time its set in. Even with all these extra variables the story still follows the events of WW1 OR WW2 pretty well.
