Season 2 was very much a bridge to Season 3. It was a half time show to the final quarters of a football game or (insert sports analogy here). Not my favorite season of the show, but I’d be lying if I said I was disappointed in S2. I mean besides Shield Hero fans I don’t know any fan who would be disappointed in a favorite show getting a 2nd season.

This show starts of with a Power Rangers like group called Gelato 5 and their fight against evil organization Gekko who collect negative energy to use toward world domination. This show is about two characters Red of Gelato 5 and Reaper Princess of Gekko, and their forbidden relationship. This is a very Romeo & Juliet situation but nobody dies and the two “houses” don’t hate each other but have a beneficial working relationship.
Overall, it’s an extremely wholesome story with a lot of really sweet moments that get balanced with a whole lot of weird that just makes sense. The romance is really good. The ...

As a whole this show is a good time. The characters are phenomenal, and their lives are a lot of fun to watch. Elda is such a treat to watch, she’s one of those elf characters that make us as humans really contemplate our mortality. She has moments of pure “I’m baby” type energy, but then next she’s going really deep into human mortality and it somehow balances really well. The only reason this show is a 7/10 is because the English cast of this show was absolutely phenomenal. Jordan Dash Cruz, Kristen McGuire, and Jad Saxton had such phenomenal chemistry. They all had their moments that made me feel deep in my heart, and really made this show a guilty pleasure of mine. The supporting cast of VAs were also tremendous. Jim Foronda was great as Luxion.

Sometime in 2022 or 2023 I happened upon this show. I didn’t go into the show expecting much. As soon as I finished this show, I went scouring for more. It was one of the first shows that had me wanting to read its source manga because I couldn’t wait for the next season of anime to air. I gobbled up every chapter before I realized I had done so. This anime does the manga source material so much justice. The animation, music, and acting (Both JP and ENG) is incredibly well done. The anime stays true to the manga, and really elevates the artistry of the manga 100 times over with this anime.
The story is introspective and can really get one to think about how fleeting life can be. This anime does comedy, drama, adventure, fantasy, and even romance incredibly well. This show has a special place in my heart. It was one of the first shows I had watched and one of the first shows that had me crying at one point or another. It had me feeling a lot of feelings, and that can be attributed to the undeniable chemistry of the English Dub Actors for the Duke and Alice. Kristen McGuire and Clifford Chapin bounce off each other so well, and make these two lovebirds all the more lovable. This show will give you all the feels, and I strongly recommend watching the English Dub.
