The Intoduction
I'd say the introduction for this movie was extremely rushed. Literally in the first like 5 minutes the character that we barely know did something exceptional. Decisions that were questionable on the matter of why. Even those quesions are mostly remain unanswered. Because those actions were impactful, meaningful, and huge, not just for the character, but might as well for the world! We didn't get the proper time to know her, feel her life, connect and relate to her. There's a connection between the introduction and the end, but I don't know why Shinkai took that path and not introducing us in an organic
...
way.
Plotline
The plot was as thick as it can be. The story was being delivered in a simple way that we can understand immidiately and get along with the ship to enjoy this. With the fast pacing it had, they managed to keep entertain us by not giving us a break. Though it might be risky, it's good that they can hold us together in such a fast pacing. However, a little time to catch a break would be nice honestly. Another thing is that I feel like this movie had so much deep interpretation, but due to the rich plot material and little time, many things remain folded. And the plot armor was incredibly as thick as the plotline. It's like everything happened for the plot, not for a reason.
The Stakes
The higher the stakes are, the better it gets. Suzume failed to give us a story with high stakes. No matter how grand the scale of your story, if you failed to balance it with the stakes, it won’t work. This is what happened to Suzume. Unlike his 2 ‘similar’ previous movies, watching this movie will give you a feeling like you can watch something bad happen to the character, but at the same time believing they’re going to be fine. It takes away our worry, our emotion, it detaches us from the character.
Character Exploration
This movie spend all of the duration to explore the main plotline, the main story. The plot was solid, the pacing was incredibly fast, we really can’t catch a break. Sometimes it’s a good thing. But sometimes it can also forget another element of the story. The character felt so alive and it’s true. But we never went deep with the character, we only saw how the character served their role in the story. We never actually "know" who they are. I'm not requesting for flashbacks or things like that. But at least we need a break from the story, that we can use that to know what is actually going through their mind and why.
Character's Motives
The lack of character ecploration resulting in this. A motive is something that extremely important to a story. For me, knowing the "why" on every action is important. It'll give us a better understanding to the story and giving more emotional weight for the character. So we want them to succeed. In this movie, we barely get this. We don't even get the obvious answer of why Suzume invloved in the first place, why her aunt just follow along, why Daijin choose that action in the end. Therefore, the supporting characters felt like they didn't join the story, they were just passengers to the story. It didn't actually bring them into the story.
Visuals
The most outstanding part of this movie was the visuals. There are so many amazing camera movement, camera angle, visual choices, that were rarely seen in anime, also with stunning execution. We got so many amazing POV shots with brilliant animation. We know that making a POV shots aren't easy to animate. The action sequences had jaw-dropping animation and visual. The visualization of all those magical things were also hit the right spot. Even they nailed the CGI!! I have to say, so far, from EVERY Makoto Shinkai movie, this one had the best visual.
Music
I was disappointed. If avoiding the same element from his 2 previous popular movie is what Shinkai's intention, then removing insert song was the worst choice he had ever done. Because "Your Name" (with Sparkle) and "Weathering With You" (with Grand Escape) nailed that part. And that also what made both movie so special. The insert song by RADWIMPS played crucial role for both movies. This movie had so many potential scenes to put an insert song, but it didn't... I was waiting for that the entire time. That also one of the biggest reason I watch this movie. To feel the moment supported by the amazing OST by RADWIMPS.
The Magic
Shinkai’s new craft still hasn’t lost its magic. Indeed this movie felt similar to “Your Name” and “Weathering With You”. But the fact that it still hasn’t lost its charm is amazing. We still can feel the magic that Shinkai brought, the grand scale of the story, the world building, the character. We can still watch it and not complaining “it’s formulatic!”. Despite problems here and there, we can still enjoy the ride every last second of it. The journey was really fun and funny, enjoyable, intense, visually insane, and mesmerizing.

"Let Me Hold You Under The Tree"
STORY: 8.5
For me, I thought the different format of the story was the one that made the story felt rushed and lack of detail. But that's actually what happened at the manga. it feels like it only hits the surface. It's rare we get to see AoT ignoring the details and the tiniest logic. In one scene, we feel the rumbling from miles away, but in the other scene, we feel the rumbling when it's already close.
One thing that really stand out about the story was how it shows you desperate time cause desperate actions. Everyone tried to make
...
changes, even the smallest thing. They're desperately trying to involved. They're ready to sacrifice anything at this point.
CHARACTERS: 8.5
Characters has already reach their maximum point, at least almost all of them. But as I said, this episode lack of details, including character exploration. Ofc, they fulfill their role in this story, but that's only that. We didn't see more of them, probably we only saw Annie, Eren, and Hange, who didn't just fulfill their role for the plot. Jean was one of the best character, but he only got a side character dialogues. But one of the best thing was knowing more about Annie.
VISUALS: 9
They improved the animation a lot. They used to use CGI for ODM manuver, but they use a regular 2D, probably it was being hand drawn, I’m not sure. Still can’t top WIT, but it was indeed a massive improvement. A smoother animation and movement, still they need to improve their drawing per frame. Visual style, MAPPA can never be doubted. Amazing style, amazing color pallete, amazing cinematography.
AUDIO: 9
I think the level and quality of the overall OST was increasing insanely high since Kohta joined the team. But as usual, insert song is always what’s Sawano does best. The overall OST was terrifying and menacing. The feel of something demonic and destructive, bang our ears as we see people being stepped and crushed. It’s really unfortunate that they could’ve done better on the sound design. I feel like the atmosphere could’ve been more real with better sound directing. And I also love “Under The Tree” by SiM.
ENJOYMENT: 9
Attack on Titan still has not lost its charm. Not even a single season was bad. Even my lowest rated season got 8.7/10. This one definitely not the greatest, but I still love it. I got scared, emotional, overwhelmed by Annie-Armin, and sad for the tragic faith Eren has. I’ve never read the manga, never looked for any spoiler, but I know for sure that I will be absolutely sad for the way it’s heading into.

"I want you to help me live"
[THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS]
[STORY (9)]
It's a good way to portray mental health problems. I have not much to say for the positive side of the story. They get what it feels to have an anxiety. Ofc, every person has a different circumstances and condition, but for the most part, they'll shut their self and push away people. The way Ishida always looked down, the way he imagined people talked about him, the way his eyes moved and looked, it hits the right tone. And for the most anime, they did a lazy writing on the character background. They'll do
...
like giving us a glimpse of something in the character's mind, and keeping it as a secret, then giving us a quick flashback when the revealing moment comes. And that's not how you write a character. That's a lazy and a very bad way to give a character depth. And this movie didn't do that, it has a brilliant writing on delivering characters, especially Ishida. And not everything has to be explicit, this movie nailed that. But the negative side is, this movie had so many implicit story telling, through details, symbolism, and like one important dialogue in a long sequence. But regardless, this movie, Naoko Yamada did an amazing job, to deliver things. This kinda movie and story telling is too smart for most anime enjoyers, especially those who just watch action stuffs.
[ART (10)]
What do you expect me to say? It's KyoAni. Let me say this once, art is NOT just about the ANIMATION. Just because the animation doesn't have some epic fight scene, doesn't mean it's bad. Art is also about the shot composition, visualization, art style, character design, color grading, color pallet, color composition, framing, etc. You need to understand that before criticizing art. The idea like putting Xs on everyone's face, the symbolism, the attention to detail, the framing for each shot, everything was done on purpose and the director really understand what she's doing. It's beautiful.
[SOUND (10)]
The music scoring was amazing. It captures the tone of the entire movie. It captures the psychological and mental state for our main guy, Ishida. And it's really brilliant not only on the story telling side, but also in a musical side.
[CHARACTER (9)]
Now comes the most interesting part. This will have major spoilers. So the positive side, I won't go too much. Just saying how the movie portrays a complicated character PERFECTLY. And this movie, almost every characters were seeking for redemption. Ishida, Ueno, Nishimiya, and Sahara. Let's go to the negative side. The biggest flaw of this movie is the character. The writer didn't do really well on describing the supporting characters. I, and many people, misinterpreted Ueno, Kawai, and Sahara, even many people didn't understand that everyone is the part of the problem. NISHIMIYA, she's never fight for herself, she always says sorry everytime, she can't stand for herself, and she never tried to read the atmosphere around her. Yes, she's deaf, but there are many ways to read the atmosphere around her. Instead of doing that, she'll straight say sorry. The result is, she hates herself even more. UENO, she tried to redeem herself to Ishida, but in order to do that, she doesn't want to understand people around her, she didn't understand Ishida, she always see things from her perspective only. What this movie didn't do well is, portraying the good side of her. Yes, she's mean, but she always true to herself, she never speaks lies, she even said "I'm a really awful person", and people who watched it, mostly didn't notice that. She always has her own good reason behind her actions. Even in the hospital scene, she beat up Nishimiya, people don't understand that. Imagine, you're desperately trying to redeem yourself to someone you love, but he almost died because someone's fault. If I were Ueno, I'd do the same thing to Nishimiya. It's human nature. But this complexity Ueno has, it's the problem in this story too. At the end, she knew how to redeem herself to Ishida, by understanding and do what HE wants, instead of doing what SHE wants. For example, she learnt sign language to accept Nishimiya. KAWAI, boy, this movie didn't do enough to portrays how awful she is. I only have two words, hypocrite and narcissistic. That's what she is. Even by the end of the movie, I still couldn't tell whether she cried to impress Mashiba or pure guilt. She has no justification behind every actions, just pure hypocrite and narcissistic. But I think that's the point. Some people do this kinda thing. They're a good person, they do good deeds with their pure kindness but also just to gain them selves a place in the society. I think that's Kawai. She sometimes be a pure good person, but when trouble occurs and she's involved, she just automatically point out someone. That's a self defense mechanism to protect her spot in society. Too bad we didn't realize how often we did the same thing. And for me, SAHARA was an important character that felt too hazy. The purpose was to tell how Sahara wanted to redeem herself to Nishimiya and her life, because she's a coward, but the movie didn't nailed it. Last one, ISHIDA, not many of you realize that he's also THE CENTER of the problem. He desperately trying to redeem himself to Nishimiya, but like he said, he never knows what Nishimiya wanted. He tried to fix things, but only from his perspective. This is the complexity of human's character, each of them has a very different yet complex characteristic. This movie gave us the best portrayal of human's characteristic. We often through the same stage, but we didn't realize. It described how complex we are as a human being, we just never realize how complex we are. I give it a 9/10 cause I love this realistic, complex, and conflictive take on the characters, but sadly not everyone can understand it.
[ENJOYMENT (9)]
Sometimes the movie felt too slow, sometimes I'm having a hard time to understand it, but MY GOD this movie is brilliant. I think I already explained enough on why I love this movie.

Sonny Boy was a next level piece of art, where it contains so many philosophical meaning through the story. This is a distinct piece of work, represent the true purpose of art, which is delivering idea, thinking, reflection. And moreover, it's an original story. This is a unique experience which almost impossible to experience it in another occasion. This stands in its own league.
[STORY (7)]
Even tough I said this is a philosophical and symbolic experience, yet the story was really complicated and for me, was unclear for many parts. An intelligent piece of thinking, poured in a story, makes the audience need an intelligent way
...
of thinking as well. I was behind for so many times, but I've managed to catch up, even tough it requires me a lot of thinking. The writing felt incomplete for many parts, cause the author wants us to think, to catch clues, to pay attention, to assume. It's not bad, it's just complicated and felt half-way. After all, the purpose of the story was a symbolism of a bunch of teenagers whose on their way for maturity. It explains a lot on how the society works, how they became more mature through facing various "real life" problems. It delivered some certain way of thinking, delivered an idea. Don't focus too much to the actual story, but put your attention at what this story tried to say. I'm not a big fan of the actual story, but the concept is amazing and deep also very philosophical. And those aspects really saved the show from a disaster.
[ART (10)]
I won't say much. The art is beautiful. So many frames looked like an actual painting. The decision making on how to visualize the story also a stand out point here. It's just brilliant and beautiful. It helps a lot to set up the entire tone of the story.
[SOUND (8)]
This show has a very good song choices. With the help of the visual, it really established a certain and stable tone throughout the entire show.
[CHARACTER (8)]
Although the story isn't really well written, but the characters really stand out. The chemistry between each of them were amazing. It really leaves a mark on my heart and mind. We actually care about those character. Every each of them played their role in this new set up world. The characters leaves a very strong impression on me. And once again, it really saved the show.
[ENJOYMENT (8)]
As I said, this show really leaves a very strong impression on me. Towards the end, it gave me a stressful time cause it started to mess with the characters. If you're a person with a deep understanding of philosophical meaning, you'll love this. This is one of the most confusing yet enjoyable and intriguing show I've ever watched. If you're a story enjoyer, I think it's worth to watch. But if you're an excitement enjoyer who watch actions and some high intensity sci-fi stuffs, then don't give it a try.

I was very excited when I knew there will be a star wars anime series involving a bunch of well-known studios. I'm technically not a star wars fan, but I know the base knowledge of it. What makes me excited is the fact this is a west series handled by Japanese people who tried to bring the epicness of Star wars into anime world.
So because this is a non canon story with different story each episode, I can't really breakdown the review on each part. What I can say is, this is a legit and epic story from a familiar world but told by a
...
different perspective. All these years we only got a Japanese series adapted into West live action which almost all of them failed, not just financially, but failed from the perspective of art it self.
[STORY (8)] Now we got a totally new perspective from Star wars. The story, for a non canon story, I can say it's amazing. Not only this isn't canon, but also the story often gave us a clue, a knowledge about the star wars world before they use it as a part of the story. This makes general audience did not left behind in confusion. And another good thing is, this series really supports a creative freedom as each episode is not connected. But sadly, just like another anime story, sometimes the story did not well paced so it became rushed and I can't enjoy it. And there's always a negative side of the creative freedom, which in this case is there's one episode that didn't really felt like star wars at all. It has its own thing and it doesn't felt like it needed star wars elements at all.
[ART (9)]
All I can say is, the art is amazing. Seeing new perspective of art and visualization for star wars is amazing. They combine the Japanese and anime world with Star wars world and it will leave you amazed by the idea that you never thought you'd need that idea in your life. Not only that, we can see how Star wars world in animation with its own beauty, cause we haven't really seen a gorgeous star wars animation until this. The use of the 3D CGI is also top notch. As a non star wars fan, I still can recognize some of visual or art trade mark from star wars which will make a star wars fans really happy.
[SOUND (8)]
It's amazing how I as a non star wars fan can recognize some of the star wars theme in this. Moreover, they also combine those star wars theme into Japanese music and again, this idea is the one we never thought we'd need. And gosh, the lightsaber and laser blast sound is very satisfying and good.
[CHARACTER (8)]
Can't say much about the character since these stories aren't bound with each other. But they really nailed it in terms of delivering the character through the story. And sometimes they managed to make some character development in just one episode. But sometimes, there are some development that felt rushed and forced, in fact they didn't really need that development.
[ENJOYMENT (8)]
I freaking love this and I hope they make a season 2 with each episode is the continuation from each episode in season 1. For example, eps 1. I hope they bring back Kamikaze Douga for season 2 with the first episode is the continuation of the first episode in season 1. I would love to see all these stories continue.

[STORY (7)]
Start with the positive side. This anime has a very interesting concept. For me, this is new. The dialog was good, there's less jokes here. The story flows with the right pace and keep continue the tone and the pace they already established. The anime doesn't have a sub-plot and keep focusing on the main plot, which is good, considering it only has 13 episodes. There's no time for a sub-plot. From the dialogs, pacing, intensity, it succeeded to provide the right tone and atmosphere for the whole show. And this show also gave enough depth in terms of emotional core. Listening to Sayu's
...
back ground always made me cry. Now let's get into the negative part. The story was not fully explored WHILE they're trying to do that by providing some clues and characters. Some characters failed to fulfilled their purpose on the show. The plot was like they put together pieces of some important events. They did explain almost everything in the right way though. But the plot was clearly just putting pieces together. This show just took important parts of the whole story and put them together. This show did not take its time, it was rushed. Luckily, they did manage to explain everything. It's just the plot was felt like "skip, skip, skip". It doesn't feel natural. This show also brought the characters in to join the main conflict in the most unnatural way. It was forced. It was rushed.
[ART (7)]
I gotta say the art was not that good. The movement of the characters, still need an improvement, sometimes they used an unusual angel, the hard one. They're trying too hard on that. Using normal shot or angel with good movement is more than enough. There's still some inconsistency, sometimes Yoshida looks a lot taller than Sayu, sometimes their height looks almost the same. But what special from the art is the character design. It's fresh, new, and most importantly, they're cute. For me, the art delivered the right expression of each moment and that's good thing.
[SOUND (7)]
I clearly have not much to say for this part. I like the opening song. I really do. I always vibing to that song every time I hear that. The ending song was average. The scoring was absolutely good. It did managed to capture emotions. In the right moment, the right score comes in. But for the sound effects and sound mixing, they didn't put attention to the detail, so it didn't make the show feels more alive.
[CHARACTER (6)]
From the positive side, I love the consistency of the characterization. Everything they do, represent their character very nicely. I love Sayu and Yoshida. It provided a very strong character bonding between Sayu and Yoshida. It even enough to make a grown man cry. The character bondng was very very good. The negative part is that this show really lack of character development. They're flat. There are no major development. They just used the established characterization of each character. The story tried really hard to convince us the character has developed, but the action is not the same. The only character with ANY development is Sayu. What I mean by character here is not their feelings towards each other, not getting used to be around for each other. If that's the case, that's not character development, that's the story evolving. But pure the character. Also some characters failed to serve the purpose of their existence. Some characters just exist to say "This is from the original story, it's accurate". Unfortunately, they have a questionable role.
[ENJOYMENT (8)]
Regardless the negative points, I really love this show in terms of enjoyment and emotion. It really was an emotional roller-coaster. I was having a hard time to point out the minus part of this show cause I really like it. But after thinking, I noticed many things that really annoyed me throughout this show. The epilogue was... I wish it was something more. But I'm okay with that. Now I will feel empty cause I just finished a good show.

"No Matter How Far We're Apart, My Feelings For You Won't Change"
I LOVE THIS. I REALLY DO
[STORY (8)]
Wow. Just wow. Let me warn you. If you like the type of romance like Oregairu or that kind of stuff with Fan service, many jokes, harem, you should never watch this. Or if you a fan of cheap and mainstream romance anime with "too handsome" boy or "too pretty girl" and with some kind of cheap jokes, cringe tsundere, pervert jokes, attractive dialog, this IS NOT FOR YOU. This anime is a very rare type of romance. VERY RARE. There are no elements as I did
...
mention before. Just about 2 people. Their bond with each other. Their feelings. Just that. And that makes this anime special. Just seeing they chatted each other through LINE already fascinating. This is a very realistic show. Communications through awkward silence. Man.. This just so good. You won't know if you're not watching. There were few flaws, like the timeline. Sometimes they have a time skip in one episode without telling us that it is a time skip. But I think that's all. The pacing was so good, it doesn't have a high pacing like Horimiya. This is different. Slow and sweet. And one more big plus, they delivered the story with a such poethic style. I can't describe it well enough.
[ART (6)]
Here's the biggest problem with this show. The art wasn't good. Especially the character design. Sometimes Azumi looked a little fat, sometimes he doesn't. Sometimes he looked tall, sometimes he doesn't. What's so unfortunate was the best art they have was in the ending song. Nothing special about the art. It wasn't good, but also wasn't that bad.
[SOUND (8)]
The soundtrack man... The op and ed.. Those 2 songs really sets up the tone for the story, especially the ed. The lyrics was so so beautiful. Even reading the lyrics only, my eyes got teared up. And the music for the whole show was good. I was actually gonna give it 7/10 for sound. But considering the op and ed was really good and the voice acting deliveres their job with no major mistake, 8/10 is the right number,
[CHARACTER (8)]
Originally, I gave this 7/10 because I don't really like a show with minor role for supporting role. But the exploration for both Mizuno and Azumi was very good. That's what makes the "I love you" hits really hard, cause the development of each character, the development for their relations was just amazing. Even Azumi's dad has a good characterization, also his mom as well. The show really focusing on both main character. In some way it's a good thing, but in other way it's a bad thing. It could've been better if they increase the role for supporting like Chinatsu. It could made the story wider and larger. But I don't mind with what we got. And also, the character for Mizuno and Azumi weren't mainstream like romance anime usually have. And that's a booster for the show as well.
[ENJOYMENT (8)]
As a not-fan of romance anime, I really love this. The show filled with so much sweet moments. Made me smile so often, made me cry cause it was too sweet. I really glad there were no any cheap jokes, pervert thing, etc. There were not many jokes which was good. The tone, the pacing, the plot. This right here, probably my favorite romance. It was just so beautiful and sweet. It made me depressed knowing the fact I'm an adult now and I don't think I will ever get this sweet relation. And it's not restoring my faith in love, but in a good way. God I wanna be young again, put me back in middle school and I promise I will seek for a good and sweet romance

"Open, open,... GATES OF HELL!"
Before I start, I wanna ask something,
HOW CAN SO MANY PEOPLE DISLIKED THIS SHOW?!?! SERIOUSLY!
[STORY (7)]
Well the pacing was pretty fast indeed. Some arc weren't well written, indeed. Neither the build up nor the resolution. But come on.. This show also got some good episodes! Some story had not so well plot, but some of them also had so well-written plot. There were some rushed story-telling, but the build up for the main event in the end was quite well. And yes, there were some classical type of anime "harem" jokes, some pervert jokes. But there were some pretty good moments
...
as well. And I get the disappointment because the story is so different from the novel. Considering this kind of thing is often happen whenever an anime adapting a novel or manga, so we also need to keep in mind, sometimes an anime is its own thing, to judge it, we need to keep in mind that it is its own thing and we are not allowed to expect too much cause like I said before, this thing often happens in anime. We don't even have main villain here. We don't get too much of the exploration of phantom its self. But the story and character was very well written. The story and plot was pretty neat. The story wasn't the best, but reading other reviews give this show 3, 5, 4, 6, just doesn't make sense at all. I don't think most of the watchers knows much about "story-telling", the importance of character exploration, the importance of slow pacing sometime, I don't think they're the one who cares about "how the story goes", I think they're just anime watchers who cares about excitement type of shounen anime.
[ART (8)]
What can I say? KyoAni always delivered some amazing visualization. The character design is always the best. The visualization of their power were awesome and I loved it.
[SOUND (8)]
The op is absolutely one of my favorite. The sound mixing was pretty good, the voice actors/actress did an amazing job to deliver the character. And the sound effects, I loved it. This show also has some unique scoring (music soundtrack) which I liked it.
[CHARACTER (7)]
Some character development was like "too fast"? And yes, they lack of character development here, this show just established some character the way it has to. So maybe yes, the character was pretty monotone. But the characterization, the way they act, the way they feel, was good. The exploration of each of their background story in terms of character arc building was good. The character were very varies.
[ENJOYMENT (8)]
Well, I really enjoyed it, more than I was expecting. I can't even imagine, WHY SO MANY PEOPLE REALLY DISLIKED IT?! Is there a different version that worse than what I watch? Am I watching the same show as they were? Were they watching the worse version? A version from another universe? Last advice and the crucial one, DON'T GET AFFECTED BY WHAT PEOPLE SAID! PROOF IT YOURSELF, WATCH IT YOURSELF! For those KyoAni fans, there's no way you don't like it. This definitely better than chuunibyo imo. And with no doubt one of my favorite list of KyoAni anime.

"Will I Reach Her?"
SPOILER REVIEW
[STORY (8)]
The story was beautiful. But unfortunately, it didn't represent the title really well. The title felt like just some kinda good quotes or an imagery for particular situation. The story was more about Arima's journey overcoming his trauma and fear. And yes maybe it has something to do with Kaori, but she was just a kick start for him. Along the line, Kaori's effect starts fading. But sometimes it appears again and felt like forced and sudden. So Kaori was the one who supposed to give the whole show motivation. The first several episodes got Kaori right. I get it
...
that they tried to hide Kaori's condition, but at least give her a proper screen time after we figured the truth behind her. I'm in love with Arima's journey. His whole story to overcome everything. From the poster, title, it's like Kaori is the main thing here, but unfortunately the show didn't represent that. Kaori should get a bigger role in the story, larger arc. She instead end up as the first motivation, and gone for a while, and than suddenly appear to be a big thing again in the middle, and than disappear, and than showed up again towards the end. I could give 7/10 for the story, but Arima's arc overcome all of my issues. The ending was predictable, so I expected there will be an emotional exploration, bit sadly there wasn't. The whole show filled with such a beautiful words, so I expected we could get some of those beautiful line in the end to explore the emotions. But all we got just "I Love You". That really was letting me down.

Not a big fan of the art, especially the character design. But they sometimes showed a stunning visual. Not much story to tell from the visual, so nothing special from the visual.
[SOUND (10)]
THIS IS TRUE. The music composing/scoring was outstanding. Just sooo good. The whole scoring/composing sets the tone for the whole story. The music was so rich of identity. You can feel pain, sorrow, sadness, desire, and everything from the whole show. This is just outstanding.
[CHARACTER (7)]
We only get proper exploration for one character. And it's Arima. Sadly, it supposed to be at least Arima and Kaori. Because they're dying to hide her condition, they just dumped the whole exploration of the character. But in a weird way, she's kinda predictable, so that's why her character supposed to be better. For other supporting role, they did good, but should get their own exploration.
[ENJOYMENT (8)]
I usually can't finished like 10 episodes a day, but watching this, I finished it in just 2 days. So based on that I really enjoyed this. But, sometimes I felt forced to continue cause I wanna see the end the badly. What I really enjoyed was the music and those beautiful words.

"Fly, and Be Free!"
[STORY (8)]
This is just beautiful. Just beauty. The tone that they set for this movie was really good. It really matches with the whole story. Focusing on a friendship relation and an internal conflict which both side has. The analogy from the actual "Liz and The Blue Bird" story was perfect and match with the tone. There's so much to explore here, and luckily, they did. It really describes a beautiful friendship between two opposite person. But I wasn't really pleased with the ending, for me, it could be better a little bit. And the whole analogy needs a little bit better
...
execution. Despite the whole analogy worked really well, it's still can be better a little bit. The story was very heart-warming. It helped us to understand both character's feeling. The exploration was deep enough for us to understand the whole internal conflict. And another thing that slipped for me was how they didn't explain the whole story of "Liz and The Blue Bird" till the end. It will be more impactful for the story's depth. The story was amazing, but I didn't it deserves 9/10 at this point.

Tbh, this is one of the most visually beautiful anime I've ever watched. Even though I more a fan of the character design for Mizore in the series, but I'm totally fine with this. It's just in the series she looked cuter. And here, we see a different version of each character in the series which I love it more here than what we have in the series. Reina, Kumiko, Taki-sensei, Yuuko, Nozomi, etc. The students looked more like a high school student cause all of them have a bigger posture in this movie.
[SOUND (9)]
One of the best thing in this movie is the score/composing. The music was very beautiful, match with the tone really well, supporting the story-telling, and calming.
[CHARACTER (8)]
I had a little issue with the supporting role. The character's depth for the two main character was awesome. It's just that one junior was like put there to complete one event and then they took it out. That girl was the character development arc for Mizore, but once she did to get close with Mizore, she just vanished from the story. She was suppose to be there longer because she's a part of Mizore's character development. And also, there was not enough backstory for both Mizore and Nozomi which if we get that, it'll be really support the character's depth for both of them.
[ENJOYMENT (9)]
I feel really relatable, happy, touched while watching this. Their friendship was so beautiful. Also their friendship is I think my favorite friendship in the whole series of Hibike. I couldn't stop smiling in some part of the movue cause this just so good.
