Komi-san wa, Comyushou desu.

If the story of a quiet, socially anxious introvert finding their voice among the human connections with their friends and family is what resonated with you while watching Komi, then Mob Psycho is worth a watch. These shows are very different in genre and tone, but despite Mob Psycho being an action-packed shonen, it manages to tackle themes of social anxiety, uncertainty, and self-improvement in a meaningful and substantial way. Also it's very funny, so if comedy's what you're after then that's cool too.

Golden Kamuy

Like FMA, Golden Kamuy features a large ensemble of varied, charismatic, and likable characters that form many different factions, from heroes to villains to anything in between, and work toward their own goals which causes them to constantly clash, cross paths, join forces, split up, yada yada yada. Being historical fiction, it might not be as fantastical and epic in scale as FMA, but if you value FMA's writing and characters just as much or more than its animation and action, definitely give Golden Kamuy a shot. And seriously, move past the bear. It's not at all representative of most of the show's animation. Also, it's trying its best🥺
