Gonna keep it short. It's awesome. Similar to the other reviewer, I love yandere. I also love dark edgy psychological stuff. What I don't like is when it's a mindless plot with nothing going on except the yandere female mc. In this case, I the plot is pretty good. Nothing is pulled out of the author's ass. The main characters and everyone else has at least some depth to their character, which is something I've rarely seen in these types of manga. The art is also really good. I recommend reading it, I'm really enjoying it. It's been a while since I've been so invested ... in a manga. I've only seen 15 (there's only 15 translated) chapters so far but I love it already. Hope to see more in the future.

"I Sold My Life for Ten Thousand Yen per Year." was a manga I was putting in the back of my head for a while in my "reading list". But once I decided to read it, I found that it was adapted from this, Three Days of Happiness. So, I bought the novel and I read it first. I went in with high expectations and prepared myself to be depressed after. But my expectations were shattered. This was so heartbreaking and depressing and yet it's so warming and fulfilling. I can't put all the emotions I'm feeling into words, but I feel empty and full ... at the same time after finishing this novel. I love this so much <3, planning to read manga adaptation soon too. 100% recommend, one of my favorites now.

This is a hidden gem. I found volume 1 of this at the bookstore, and I was skeptical to read it. But, I decided to and it was a good idea.

The plot of the series is pretty similar to Death Note, except the main characters are the ones finding the murderers, in this case are called "contractors", which are people who call upon the curse gods for powers. If you want to know the full context of it, then read the synopsis.

The story itself can be predicable sometimes, but the result is still satisfying to see. There were still some surprises that caught me ... off guard, but maybe that's just me being dumb. There isn't much plot holes, so there isn't any random answers or solutions that are just pulled from the MC's ass. The story is also sorta edgy, but if it's something you can enjoy then it's fine. There also isn't a lot of character development; the main point of the story are the investigations, so the base info that you have on the MC is what you have.

The ending of the story... I don't have much to say. It's more of a "let your imagination do the work" or a game of cat and mouse, there actually isn't an ending to the story. You'll understand what I say if you finish the series. If you want a series with a set and solid ending, then this might not satisfy you. I didn't really have problems with it, but that's just me.

The art is amazing and It's really detailed. The facial expressions were also fun to see.

TLDR; If it was too long to read, then overall: The series is a hidden gem, and is fun to read. The art is good and if you're into murder mystery or something like Death Note, you'll likely enjoy this manga. Give it a try.

The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity is a manga that excels in every aspect, making it an unforgettable experience. The plot is simple, and yet it's still better than most romance manga of the same theme/plot.

This one of one my favorite series' ever. The story is just pure love between the two main characters, Kaoruko Waguri and Rintaro Tsumugi. No love triangles, no drama between love interests, just the two of them. And that's what makes this so good. Every moment between them is heartwarming and the story is actually so sweet, it might give you diabetes.

Visually, the manga is awesome. The mangaka ... did a really good job. Every panel has a large amount of detail and the facial expressions are actually amazing.

Not only is the romance between the main characters good, the side characters get details too. The story is so well thought out that even the side characters have details and depth into them. Every single character is very well written.

TL;DR: The characters are VERY well written, the romance is super sweet, the art is good, the series is a masterpiece. Please read it.

I'm a very lenient person while rating, and I'm not a professional, so don't take this as a "professional critic" review.

BUT- in my opinion, this has to be my favorite series ever. The manga could be described as a generic "death game" manga, but there's no death and the plot goes in way deeper. The show covers many elements, not just the regular death game genre.

The ending wasn't bad, I actually thought it was quite good compared to other series's where it felt incomplete. The plot twists after plot twists are enjoyable and they aren't just dropped there randomly. You will (might) be kept ... wondering if a character is actually a friend or a foe. Some games were more forgettable than others, but it still rounds up to a good story.

Of course, the main reason we (or just me) like the story, is the main character, Yuuichi Katagiri. I won't reveal anything, but his character is awesome and twisted, and I believe other people would enjoy it.

The art is really good, and the facial expressions are really nice. I really enjoyed them.

Overall, 10/10. Actually, 100/10. This is my favorite manga series ever, and I don't think I can find another story like it. I would DEFINITELY recommend.
