An exceptional show that frankly is not scored correctly imo based on general MAL ratings.
The story is average, the art is decent enough, the sound is decent enough, the characters are quite good imo, and enjoyment for me was very high.
The frustrating thing about this anime is that it clearly leaves off at a bad point, and that is why I think so many people were frustrated, it just leaves off at a point that your not really satisfied with, and it is what it is, but I think this should have been a 24 episode show, and I think this show can really shine
...
with a second season.

I'd like to begin this review by saying that I watched all 12 episodes straight, which honestly very rarely happens anymore. I'll be keeping this review as spoiler free as possible.
Story-6: the story is alright, or i suppose i should stay that there really is not much of a story here, this show is simply about the thrill of gambling primarily, and the plot basically involves the mc challenging the student council.
art=10: At first i was a little bothered by the art, however i feel after finishing the entire show that while there were parts i didn't like and do like, it did an amazing

job at conveying the emotions the characters were feeling. Even if I personally did not like the art where they were making their "meaner" faces, I think that it was still very well done and appropriate. Their faces of ecstasy actually f**king got me hot and bothered honestly. Very well done.
Sound-8: I thought the sound was pretty well done, there were a few times where i thought the sound that was used was kind of not needed at all which was why i deducted a point.
characters-9: The characters are really why i like this show. You see why alot of characters are the way they are, you see why many people are desperate, and you can especially see in some characters how much they love what they are doing, and this kind of thing makes the show shine so much more in my opinion.
Enjoyment-10: I enjoyed this show enough that i watched all 12 episodes back to back. Honestly it may be because of how overly dramatic and exciting everything was, I don't really know, but I was on the edge of my seat the entire time and really really enjoyed this show and that is enough for me.
Overall-10 while adding my scores up may be different, the simple fact of the matter is that I felt amazing while watching this show, and felt very sad when it ended because I am once again stuck in a void not knowing what to watch. I'd just like to thank anyone involved in the creation of this show. Thank yous!

This is surprisingly a really good anime that I would say I enjoyed way more than I was expecting to. The story is out there and characters are not exactly the shows main focus, the sound isn't anything special (i will say that i really like the opening song personally though) and the art is as usual with most anime, pretty good which is likely why this show has received such a poor rating. However I will say that I really enjoyed the anime, especially the later episodes.
Story: circumstances lead to formation of anime club by mc and a bunch of otaku, student council is

for some reason determined to shut down anime club is the starting plot basically. However there is more going on than this.
art: standard art, everything looks nice, moe 4 lyfe
sound: the sound is fine, the opening song is really good, nothing amazing during the rest of the show though really.
characters: most of the characters do not have alot of depth, however they are fairly likeable in their own ways.
enjoyment: after writing down the last 4 things i'm beginning to wonder why I enjoyed the show so much, yet I did. While I did enjoy the first half of the show initially, I think that it became much better in the second half. like as in someone was making your average club anime and then popped some acid and this happened.
overall: I gave it a 9/10 because i had a lot of fun watching it and it felt very unique

This show would basically be your generic shounen, if not for a couple of....interesting....things
story: pretty much revolves around kaito, everybody is either out to murder him or out to get puzzle time with him. no seriously, puzzle time with kaito will be MINE! there is a background story about evil plots, a divine puzzle and other stuff, but the main focal point is definitely puzzle time with kaito.
art: average, probably not 2011 worthy, but honestly i'm not to obssesed with this as long as they don't give it.....american tier "art"
sound: opening was really good, the sounds during the show weren't spectacular, but they didn't

annoy me either.
characters: only a couple of main characters had much depth to them, i've already seen season 2 which helped build to alot of characters depth, i will say that the first season probably did not nearly as much though. Ana is best character, just saying
enjoyment: to be honest i reallly did enjoy it for the most part. in fact, i laughed alot because of how....ridiculously overdone it was, with you know....that and that. you'll probably either laugh alot or get pissed off alot. if your the type who gets pissed off i'd probably abandon, because its super over the top all the time every time.
overall, i'd give it like an 8. because its puzzle time
