This is kinda like a part 2 of my Bloom into You review with my manga review being the first part. Idk, if you haven't, go read the manga review first. Or don't, idc. Basically, I'd like to say as a medium I prefer anime to manga in every way. The audio, the colour, the movement. All present in anime where absent in manga (I realize some manga are fully coloured. I'm not talking about those. I've never even read one before.) There's just one thing that manga will unfortunately seemingly always have over anime and that is the ability to tell a full fucking
...
story. Basically, if you're here for the age olf question: "manga or anime" for this series. The answer simply is. Read the manga. The anime just straight up is incomplete whereas the manga has everything you could want story wise so just read it.
Story 7/10
Well it's the same story as the manga but just incomplete so 7/10 instead of 9/10.
Art 10/10
The art in the anime was just as beautiful as in the manga. I loved the facial expressions of the characters. Probably my favourite part of the anime. The animation was lovely.
Sound/music 7/10
The sound was alright iirc. Nothing to write home about but nothing much to complain about either.
Characters 10/10
Well the characters were the same just in anime form rather than manga form 😅
Enjoyment 7/10
Quite frankly the anime is a perfect adaptation of the FIRST HALF of the manga. My enjoyment was on par while watching as while reading just the fact that only half the story is covered killed my enjoyment. A season 2 would alleviate this problem but we all know how that goes.
Overall 7/10
Again tl;dr just read the manga. This was a wonderful anime. I loved seeing the characters I grew to love from the manga on the big screen, in motion and in colour, but even still. I can't recommend it to anyone because it's only half the story. If you still insist on watching it at least watch it then pick up the manga on chapter 25 (that's where google says the anime let's off) (or just read it from chapter 1 if you don't mind double dipping. I know I have no problems with it).

Alright, my first 105 words are visible to you rn so I better make them interesting. This isn't a spoiler free review 🤷 sorry. Just as a side before we get started. The instructions (or whatever you'd can them) are very judgmental. They're like readers aren't here for blah blah blah and I'm like whatever dude these reviews I write are for me only and sometimes I share them with my friends but whatever. You readers aren't here for that you're here for my review of the bloom into manga so without further ado let's get started.
Art: 10/10
Honestly this is a very beautiful manga.
...
Nothing really else to say but damn is it beautiful and that's a pretty big plus from me
Story: 9/10
The story was pretty damn good. Masterfully crafted imo. I love the succinct nature of the story. The parallels between the main story and the story of the stage show were well written.
Characters: 10/10
I loved the characters in this manga. The attention and time spent of the side characters was wonderful and refreshing. I loved all the characters and how they were all fleshed out well (or at least the ones I cared about were fleshed out enough for me 😅). For fun I want to talk about all the characters sexualities and what I think they are because the queerness of the cast is a huge selling point. I'd say Yuu is demisexual. I think this is a fair assumption since she is "incapable of love" until she spends A LOT of time with Touko. Touko I'm unsure about if you wanted an explicit answer I'd say she's a lesbian but since she fell in love with Yuu more because of her "incapacity to love" more than strictly because she's a girl I'd say she could easily be bi or pan or anything really. Sayaka is definitely a lesbian the only thing that possibly leads me to hesitate is that she says after her first gf she said she would never love a girl again making it possible that she might be bi but like that sentiment could have potentially just been her lying to herself. Who knows. But also she ends up with another woman in the last chapter so my vote is definitely lesbian. Maki is very clearly an aroace king. Koyomi, although is a very good character and is integral to the manga's story, doesn't really have her sexuality explored at all. I would say straight simply because she gives off very weak queer vibes. Miyako is very gay and I love her. Rei is mostly straight. I think Riko is pan. She's dating Miyako but "isn't especially attracted to girls." I think she just loves Miyako and she does because she's pansexual. Doujima is a straight dude lol. Akari also seems straight. Her two love interests are both straight seeming guys so 🤷. Kuze is barely explored as a character at all but he gives off major straight bro vibes 😅. Natsuki isn't very fleshed out either but like look at her, remember she plays softball, then you tell me what you think her sexuality is 😏. Hiro is most likely straight. And lastly I think Tomoyuki is mostly likely straight. Nothing really to go off of but the fact that he had a gf so 🤷.
Enjoyment 9/10
I thoroughly enjoyed this manga. I read the whole thing in 3 days! I can't really think how I could enjoy it much more. Maybe if Yuu's and Touko's relationship was fleshed out a bit more before Touko's confession. However, it is always nice finding a series that explores a relationship after the confession instead of the entire series leading up to the confession don't get me wrong. Just the first time I read the manga Touko's confession kinda seemed unnatural and like it came out of nowhere. If like idk 5 chapters or something were used to build their relationship before the confession I feel it would have done the series justice. But this is just me nitpicking which is why I have my enjoyment at a 9/10.
Overall 9/10
Quite frankly a damn near a perfect series. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I haven't read too many manga and this is my first girls love manga so saying this is my favourite girls love manga doesn't really mean much 😅 but either way it's true. I loved the characters and the art. The story was well written as well. The manga did a great job of handling its drama without being overdramatic. Overall very good manga. 9/10 would recommend to those with good taste 😏.

The first time I watched erin 6 years ago I gave it a 10/10 but I just finished rewatching it and my score for it now is a 7 let me explain. I'd say this review is pretty much completely spoiler free so without further ado let's get on with it.
Story 7/10
I like the story but there is a LOT of recap and fluff throughout the series. I feel erin could benefit from being 40 maybe even 30 episodes instead of 50 and cutting out all the unnecessary parts of the show. I swear there are scenes you see over a dozen times in the
...
show which accomplishes nothing but filling air time.
Art 7/10
I'm not really one for talking at length about art in anime but here we go. The art was fine. I love the artstyle of erin. Could do without the hideous cgi though.
Sound/music 7/10
The sound was also fine. I also enjoyed the music for erin as well. If I had to critique the music in any way first of all I swear the ost for erin is like 4 songs (with some additional songs just being sped up or slowed down versions of already existing songs) that play quite often which doesn't really work all too well when the anime is 50 episodes long. Also the second op (which is just the first op but sang by a different artist) is terrible... a much worse version compared to the original.
Characters 7/10
The characters for erin are quite solid and probably the strongest part of the show. My score might be higher if it wasn't for tweedle dumb and tweedle dumber... genuinely exclusively made the entire show much worse overall. If all the fart jokes were omitted that would do the show a favor as well.
Enjoyment 7/10
I'm not really sure what happened in the last 6 years that brought my overall enjoyment of this series from a 10 down to a 7 honestly. Probably just the sheer amount of anime I have consumed since my first viewing and the fact that I've just become more critical of anime over the years. I definitely still enjoyed I just found all the recapping and seeing the exact same scenes over and over again throughout the series to be far more off putting than my first viewing I suppose. I can't remember if I found the "comic relief characters" funny in the past but I certainly don't now and the fart jokes were embarrassing to watch rather than funny.
Overall 7/10
My overall sections tend to be my longest sections but I don't really feel I have much more to say about erin. As a drama it was alright. Plenty of dramatic things happened idk. I have to say erin is probably one of my favourite fantasy anime (and I don't really like fantasy so that's saying something). Erin is classified as a slice of life which I would say is accurate but still I feel the fantasy aspects of erin far outshine the slice of life elements. Well there you go. That's my review of erin. I felt like writing a review for this series since my score of a show has never changed this drastically before so I wanted to record my thoughts on the matter. If you've read this far have a great day.

This will not be a spoiler free review. I want to talk about all the plot holes.
Story 3/10
Well the story was a bit of a mess. We as the viewer are dropped into a world where it is normal for little girls to drive tanks with no explanation as to why this is a normal occurrence. The story felt both rushed and slow at the same time. There is a lot of screen time spent on pointless banter, while the girls' second round battle is completely skipped over. The parts of the show spent in tanks were boring and so were the parts outside the
...
tanks. The only part I enjoyed was Yukari's recon mission.
Art 6/10
The art was fine. There were times the cgi was unappealing but other than that no complaints.
Sound/music 7/10
The sound was fine. You know... they shot tanks and such. I enjoyed the music.
Characters 3/10
Yet another show with flat characters. If you can sum up a character in a single sentence, that's the sign of a bad/flat character. Watch. We have our boring protag-chan Miho who doesn't like tanks at first. Hana arranges flowers. Saori is horny. Yukari LOVES tanks. And Mako is the sleepy one. Then to make matters worse the girls from the other tanks can all be described this way but for their whole tank crew. You have the student council tank (I hate that Momo only has half a pair of glasses). The war loving tank. The volleyball tank. The first years tank. The internet losers tank. The mechanics tank. And the narks tank. There are SO many characters in this show. Too many one might say considering the only character development in the entire show is that Miho doesn't like tanks at first due to her traumatic experience at her last school but grows to love them because she gets to drive tanks with all her friends. Terrible.
Enjoyment 3/10
I didn't enjoy this anime. Other than one scene it was entirely boring. I spent more than half the anime just wishing it was over.
Overall 4/10
All this being said I give this anime a 4/10. Miho just instantly becomes friends with Hana and Saori which felt very unnatural. Yukari was just straight up stocking Miho for some reason, got caught, and Miho was like let's be friends I guess. The way they all just kept looking for random tanks lying around and succeeding was absurd. They just kept adding members to the club in the middle of a tournament which I found odd. Also they were always outnumbered which like how is that fair and they won anyway. They were outnumbered and had less experience than all the other teams. How the hell did they win? I mean the answer is plot amour but I digress. Imagine a basketball or hockey game but one team has 6 players and the other team has like 20. Ridiculous. I think that pretty much wraps up my gripes I have with this show. The world almost seemed interesting except no time was spent exploring it or its lore at all. All of the screen time was spent on tanks shooting or the girls eating. That's all. Have a good day.

Alright, I've completed the first season of The World God Only Knows and what a journey it was. I hated it. Here's why.
Story 1/10
Quite frankly the story, if you can call it that, the doomed from the start due to the premise of the show right from the beginning. Nothing ever matters in the show since all the girls Keima "conquests" forget he ever existed. One could argue that this is convenient or even good thing since things would get messy very quickly if the number of girls who like him increase, but truly it's simply a cop out that is necessary due to the
...
horrible premise.
Art 6/10
The art is fine and I have no complaints about it but it obviously isn't enough to carry the show.
Sound/music 6/10
I didn't dislike the music. There were even times I felt some of the music was being wasted because it sounded much too good for the show it was playing in. Overall nothing too memorable either for being outstanding or terrible.
Characters 1/10
Oh god the characters. Easily the worst part of the show. Keima is a horrible protagonist with 0 redeemable qualities. His entire personality is that he is horribly, unhealthy addicted to video games and the way he views women (as things to be conquested (is that a word?)) is disgusting. I understand that this show isn't supposed to be taken seriously, which would be fine if it were funny at all. Normally, I would go on to talk about the rest of the characters and express my distain for all of them but to save everyone some time I will simply say they are all just forgettable, flat characters designed to kiss the protagonist once and then be thrown any never to be seen again. Except Keima's mom. She's a glorious milf.
Enjoyment 1/10
I hate to be overdramatic and say I gained no enjoyment out of this anime like do so often in my reviews, but I mean... it's true. From the first episode I had a bad feeling about this anime, and low and behold, it was downhill the whole time until it hit rock bottom. Then there was still half the season left. Put simply as a person who derives most of my enjoyment from anime from the characters, I just hate The World God Only Knows...
Overall 1/10
All this being said I have to give this show a 1/10. Hear I would normally go over anything I've missed/still want to talk about but like there isn't much to talk about. The show just doesn't have much to offer. I mean the final episode felt like filler for god's sake. Idk for the first few episodes I felt like The World... was like a 4/10, then episode 4 came along and the premise of it was so bafflingly boring I was stunned. Then they introduced Kanon which was a mess, and after her arc was finished, the rest of the show was just paintdryingly boring. The show is so bad I have to keep making up words just to describe it. Obviously I can't recommend this show to anyone. As a comedy it fails miserably. I only laughed a handful of times and it was the kind of laughing you do at pathetic memes on the internet. It's not really a great harem anime because like there's only ever one girl in Keima's harem at any given time. I do not care about Keima's relation with Elsie so don't even mention it. The romance elements of the show obviously aren't any good because each romance is only given like 1-3 episodes to develop and they're all between characters I hate so... For the most part I don't really like shonens so... I'll just leave that as it is. And finally it is a supernatural anime for sure, but if you're a supernatural anime fan just skip this one and go watch ANYTHING ELSE. If you've read this far, have a nice day.

Alright so as a disclaimer I haven't played the game this anime is based on so anything I say about the game is pure speculation based on the anime.
Story 4/10
The story wasn't terrible or anything it was just boring for 90% of the runtime.
Art 8/10
The art for this so was extremely beautiful. No complaints here.
Sound/music 7/10
The music for this show was good. Nothing really to write home about but there were some good tracks.
...
Characters 4/10
The characters are where this anime fell flat for me one might say. All the characters were either flat or annoying. I did enjoy the chemistry between Io and Rackam, but that's about it.
Enjoyment 4/10
Since my enjoyment from anime largely comes from the story and characters I rate my enjoyment as a 4/10. There was a (singular) handful of cool moments in the show but the fact that I was bored 90% of the time and annoyed by half the cast is what lead to this rating.
Overall 4/10
This section will have light *SPOILERS* so you have been warned. My two main complaints about the series, other than its mediocrity, are the last two episodes. My main issue with episode 12 is that it appears to be used as an excuse to shoehorn what I assume is the rest of the cast of characters from the game into the anime. The characters weren't being fleshed out much to begin with so throwing in like 30 random characters into the final battle certainly didn't help. Then there is episode 13. It truly is an extra 1. For no reason, in episode 13 Gran is replaced with Djeeta (assumedly the female counterpart to Gran in the game), and the final episode is an unnecessary beach episode. Granblue Fantasy The Animation is (unsurprisingly) labelled as a fantasy and adventure anime. The fantasy aspects of the anime were satisfactory as well as the adventure elements. It was enjoyable to adventure around the fantastical world and collect the beasts the characters found on their adventures. If you are looking for a beautiful fantasy adventure anime with decent music then Granblue Fantasy The Animation is perfect for you. If you're looking for a more fleshed out story with good characters then look elsewhere. With all this being said I give Granblue Fantasy The Animation a 4/10. Have a good day and enjoy.

Oh, ChaoS;HEAd a show as stupid as its capitalization. It sucks here's why.
Story 1/10
The story, if you can call it that, is a pathetic jumble of messy delusions. If you hate scenarios where it ends with, "it was all a dream", then steer clear of this series because it happens like every 5 minutes. I mean it's not like it's too confusing or anything, just frustratingly stupid. It hurts to watch and then there's no pay off in the end whatsoever.
Art 6/10
I mean it's Madhouse, so it wasn't bad. It was even pretty good for 2008. Not much else to say, so moving on.
Music 7/10
The
...
music was good. Very out of place in such a terrible anime. The opening is sung by the queen Kanako Itou herself. The ending was meme bad, but check it out if you want a laugh. I found myself enjoying the soundtrack and thinking it would be so much better if used in a better anime.
Characters 1/10
The characters suck. I didn't like a single one. Not a single one! Nishijou Takumi is one of my least favourite protagonists in all of anime, and none of the other characters are any better or more likeable. I feel like everyone likes an anime with character development and this anime has it... but it's all abrupt, happens for no reason, and is never explained. This anime has absolutely no redeeming qualities in terms of characters.
Enjoyment 1/10
I didn't squeeze an ounce of enjoyment out of this anime. It was bad and not even "fun bad" just boring, hard-to-watch bad.
With all of this being said, I give this show 3/10. If you're here for a harem anime then just... no. I'm hard-pressed to even call this a harem anime. I would call it a shit anime with harem elements shoehorned in like a couple of times instead. It isn't so much a mystery as it's just an assortment of confusing, unexplained plot points, only some of which, get explained and none are interesting or satisfying. Psychological? I guess. Sci-fi? For sure, but not a good one in either genre. I would call it supernatural before I would call it sci-fi, but it's stupid more than it is fun or interesting.
SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!
If I haven't turned you away from watching ChaoS;HEAd by this point, then either stop reading here and watch it to avoid spoilers or read on if you don't care about spoilers or if you've already seen the show.
So like every character in the show is a Gigalomaniac, which I found to be stupid and I feel it takes away the uniqueness of being a Gigalomaniac. "And when everyone is super, no one will be." To quote Syndrome. I also want to take this spoiler section to further elaborate on all the characters I hate (ie all of them). Is Rimi a murder? Turns out no, but I feel Takumi puts his faith in her way too quickly and with no justifiable reason. Ayase becomes suicidal somewhere in the middle of the series for some reason, but after jumping off a building and being saved by Takumi, because boom he can make flowers, she's fine just as easily and inexplicably as she became suicidal. I feel like Sena had the potential to be my favourite character, but the shit with her dad was just annoying. She killed him out of revenge in a delusion and regretted it. Then she went to kill him in real life, but he ended up saving her from being shot and she was sad that he died. Make up your mind woman. Nanami was pretty inconsequential and annoying as well, so other than those two huge factors no complaints about her. Kozue (or Piipii or whatever they called her) couldn't talk normally for some reason, which I didn't even know until she started talking normally, again with no explanation. Yua isn't memorable enough to talk about and Seira doesn't exist, but don't let that fool you, she's still annoying. That just leaves two more characters I want to talk about. The girl who ended up being the killer who was written off minutes after the reveal, which is inexcusable no matter what you say to me. And lastly, Genichi. Genichi had the making of a good villain. His motives seemed interesting and almost just in a twisted way. Too bad they weren't explored at all and he got like 10 minutes of screen time. With that, I am done complaining about this terrible anime. If anyone reads all this, thanks for reading. :)

Alright, this anime might be hard to review, but I'm up for the challenge.
Story 5/10
The story was alright but lacking through all the piano playing.
Art 6/10
The art was fine, but the use of CGI was jarring.
Music 6/10
The music was fine. There was a LOT of piano playing. Don't get me wrong, I love the piano, it's one of the most beautiful sounding instruments in my opinion. There was just a lot of it and none of it really stood out to me.
...
Characters 7/10
Here is where it gets hard for me. While watching the show I wasn't all that impressed with the characters. Kai's mom was hot. Takako was my favourite character, but she hardly showed up at all in the latter bit of the show. Despite this, while I watched the final end theme and saw all the characters in front of the piano in the forest, I couldn't help but think how much I liked the cast. 7/10 it is.
Enjoyment 5/10
I'm not gonna lie, I didn't get much enjoyment out of this show. Near the end of the show I was just waiting for it to be over.
Now for the overall. This anime is categorized as an adventure anime, but I wouldn't call it that, so if you're looking for adventure I would look elsewhere. This show is definitely a music anime, and I get that, so if you like listening to at least two hours of piano, I think, then this is definitely for you more than it is for me. This anime is categorized as a comedy, but I don't think I remember laughing at all, so don't come here for the comedy. I feel the drama was forced so don't come here for that either. Finally, this show is categorized as a school anime. The first bit was school, but if you're here exclusively for that, for some reason, then you won't enjoy the whole thing. Due to the alright start and the rather boring latter bit of this show I have decided to give it 5/10. Now, this is my second time writing this review. I already wrote it once and my phone decided to delete it, so my apologies if this one isn't as good as the original. I mean you'll never know, but you know what I mean. Have a good day.

This anime was so strange. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it, but it was so strange. I wouldn't say its for anime beginners, but try it out yourself, if you want, for sure. I would describe it as 90% historical and 10% fantasy.
Story 6/10
The story was above average, but it had a level of incomprehensibility that lowered the score for me. This anime is an adaptation of an old folk tale. I think growing up with this story might have helped me out, but here we are. The start was a bit slow, but not unbearably so. The later middle of the movie was
...
probably the most enjoyable. Then the end kinda throws you for a loop. The story was slightly confusing and mostly entertaining.
Art 8/10
Don't let the art deter you from this anime. I didn't like it at first, but it really grows on you throughout the movie. The art-style is simple, unique, and honestly quite beautiful. My biggest praise for this movie's art is how fitting it is for its story.
Sound/Music 7/10
The sound of this movie was good. The music didn't really stand out for me, possibly because the fantastical things that happen in this movie demanded all of my attention, but it was good. The end theme was pretty and I enjoyed it.
Characters 8/10
The characters of this anime are the best out of the anime I've reviewed so far and are a pretty large driver of this movie. Kaguya-hime has a beautiful design and she personifies beauty, freedom, and a caged bird at different parts of the movie. Me no Warawa was my favourite character. She has my favourite design and she's funny. I enjoy Kaguya's parents and what they represent respectively. The characters of this anime were strong.
Enjoyment 7/10
I had an overall enjoyable experience with this movie. There were times I was bored and/or confused, but for the most part I was interested and entertained.
So overall I give this anime a 7/10. It was a good show. Now, I said it is about 90% historical and 10% fantasy. I will use this concluding section to explain that. As the synopsis says, Kaguya was born of a bamboo shoot, so that's pretty fantastical. She also grows fairly fast. Other than that, the rest of the movie is pretty realistic, aside from everything else Okina finds in the forest. Then the ending is completely fantastical. It's a very interesting combination and show. I recommend any historical or fantasy anime fans to give it a try. My recommendation also goes out to any anime veterans for you'll probably enjoy it as well.

Alright. I hate this anime and here's why. This review will be spoiler free. Not that there's anything worth spoiling.
Story 1/10
The story, if you can call it that, can be described as a sequence of random events that have little or sometimes nothing to do with each other. The start of the movie is slow, which I thought was for world building and helping to build up to something great, but it was just boring and preceded hot garbage.
If you do decide to watch this show, I want you to count how many times you ask yourself how or why something happens and tell
...
me the count because it is a horrifyingly high number. The "plot" was confusing, boring, and challenging to watch.
Art 6/10
The art was fine. There were parts of the movie that were quite beautiful and there were a few parts that were laughably terrible.
Music 5/10
I would rate the music lower, but there were some good tracks and moments where I enjoyed the music, and I would rate the music higher, but there were also bad tracks and multiple times where the music was straight up annoying. For example, the end theme was meme level bad. I'll leave the interpretation of that to your imagination.
Characters 1/10
The characters in this anime are extremely boring. Mimi was the only character I liked, but I mean, it's hard to mess up the cute animal character. Trust me they managed to do so though anyway. There isn't much else to say cause there isn't much to them.
Enjoyment 1/10
I didn't get a minute of enjoyment from this movie. The first half of the movie was spent hoping that it would get better, and the second half of the movie was spent waiting for it to be over and hoping they don't mess up anything else in the remainder of the movie. If you start feeling that way, don't get your hopes up. Every scene in this movie is a mistake.
All this being said, I have to give this movie a 1/10. I have only given 3 1/10's in the 500+ anime I've seen, so I don't give them out lightly. The adventure is almost pointless. You'll see what I mean if you watch. The romance is terrible. It could be the worst part of the movie aside from its incomprehensibility. The fantasy was alright. Certainly not worth dealing with the rest of the movie, but there were some interesting creatures. Instead of getting lost in this anime's world and being mesmerized by the magic of the fantasy, I was questioning why the fantastical things were happening to my dismay. Now, am I saying this anime is for no one? Not at all. The theme of this anime is centred around life and death. I love themes centred around life and death, but this movie executes them very poorly. There are a lot of deaths and birthing metaphors shoehorned into the movie simply due to the theme of the movie. In conclusion, I can't say everyone will feel the same way about the movie, 2 of the guys I watched it with rather enjoyed it, but I certainly can't recommend it to anyone either.
