I really have to say if there was ever a manga which was heavily underrated it would be this one! Firstly, I love how the plot really sinks into its historical time setting of the 1920s. This is a refreshing break from traditional popular romance animes which focus on school-life.
Mademoiselle Butterfly really captures how individuals were treated based on status, famine and poverty. I think that the author did a really fantastic job. Although, the manga series is very short - it isn't rushed and flows effortlessly.
I think the relationship in this manga is truly beautiful and really made me cry. 10/10 - the

I'm really oblivious to how much hate this anime cops? I don't know how anyone can give it below
a 8/10. Possibly, it easily slips into my top 10 animes of all time. I watched all of it easily in one night. Although, I found it very similar to Sword Art Online and any Video Game Anime; it still had an interesting premise - that the Shield Hero is the 'Black Sheep' of the realm yet is redeemed. It was refreshing to watch the Shield Hero overcome each instance and protect the ones he loves best. The fighting scenes are absolutely fantastic! Although, I enjoyed ... Sep 28, 2021

//T.W - Please note that there is mention of suicide, rape and murder in this manga.//
All I can say is WOW. This manga is an emotional rollercoaster which is complex and sophisticated. Its mature themes really adds towards understanding the character's upbringing, mindset and perspective. Especially, as to why the MC committed those crimes and how individuals can be cunning. I felt that the MC were beautifully captured. I believe that the premise that no matter who you are: everyone struggles with a burden. I would recommend this to anyone! The only fault I can give it is that I didn't find it sooner! 10/10 Sep 25, 2021
Vampire Knight

Vampire Knight holds very close to my heart as my first anime. Overall, I loved this anime when I was younger. The first time I watched it, the plot was very exciting yet predictable and likeable characters. I loved the development between Kaname, Yuki and Zero. Although, I did like the supporting characters such as Senri and Rima much more enjoyable. However, I feel it doesn't do justice towards the manga as it is slightly more childish. Maybe catering towards a younger audience.
Yet, when I watch it now - there are numerous faults. I'm surprised viewers can get passed the first episode as its ... Sep 25, 2021
Owari no Seraph

add
Owari no Seraph focuses on the destruction and revitalisation of the human race from vampires. It is a refreshing perspective on the traditional portrayal of vampires and war. Vampires have now protected the humans to provide a 'food source' for themselves. It gives me flashbacks to Promised Neverland Season 1!
Its fight scenes and animations are very exciting to watch! Seeing each of the weapons and its powers. However, I have to note that its ending is slightly underwhelming and rushed. Imagine watching all of the fighting scenes then all climatic drops. Although, it does the job of potentially setting the premise for an additional ... Sep 25, 2021
Fruits Basket: The Final

add
Fruits Basket is a nostalgic and refreshing take on its 2001 adaptation. It takes a serious note for mature audiences yet is enjoyable in every way. Each character shares their own mannerisms and quirks that make this anime so likeable to viewers. You become invested in the relationships and friendships between each of them. I feel there is a fair share of screen time for each character is which you'll start developing interest in. If you like a dramatic twists yet wholesome content - this is the anime for you.
