I distinctly remember being in Kindergarten and having my Dad sit me down in front of the TV on Saturday/Sunday mornings to watch Dragon Ball Z.

As I went through elementary school, I would watch Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Naruto not realizing at the time that these characters and stories I enjoy originated in Japan. Throughout my teenage years, I was a distant admirer of Anime and Manga, but never felt like I could fully immerse myself into them at the time. It was in college where I started to watch series that I found interesting.

In addition to anime and manga, I enjoy live-action movies and television (I have a decent-sized blu-ray collection), tokusatsu (Kamen Rider and Ultraman.), video games (I have several systems that I collect for and play), western comic books (DC and Marvel, plus titles from the other smaller publishers), and novels (sci-fi, fantasy, horror, mystery, and thriller).
