Idk anything about skateboarding but I definitely know some of the tricks they use are exaggerated. They really got me laughing because of how unrealistic they were XD I love the drama tho. It doesn't feel too forced or overly dramatic imo. Um well some parts are kinda too dramatic (especially Adam's lol).

The animation is pretty decent than most anime. There aren't any awkward moves or poses. And I love the OP and ED!

Main characters are ok I guess. Langa is your typical cool character with a lil bit comedy. I'm not really a fan of this sort of character tho. Cool prodigy type characters ... are already so common. If it were the 14 year old me, he probably would be my fav character. Tbh I like Reki more. It's not that he's unique or smth, but how they wrote his character and story was well done imo. The way he responds to his problem is quite realistic. Imagine being in his shoes. He does what he loves for a long time and someone whom he introduces to it is gotten far more expert than him in just a very short time. I think most of us can relate with Reki even though we never experienced the same thing. And the way he resolves the problem is neat, though it's somewhat cliched.

About Adam...
I didn't plan to include him in my review but the ending changed my mind. Adam is a character with a lot of issues. How he resolves his problem shouldn't be as simple as him realizing that skating is fun. His problems don't lie in those but how he's treated by his aunts since his childhood.

Overall it's 7/10 for me. I honestly really enjoyed this anime, but some of the unrealistic elements kinda turned me off. Still, it's an anime. You can't expect them to be 100% realistic.

I honestly quite enjoyed this anime, but I don't think it's worth for 7.97. It has much potential like interesting plot and interesting characters but all of those were ruined by how the story was delivered. There're just too many plot holes.

An example is how Kotetsu was seen as someone useless in the beginning. He just has a goofy personality but he had been helpful. In fact, he helped MUCH. But well, they made everyone look down on him. They really want to point out that Kotetsu is seen as a silly and useless hero while Barnaby is seen as a handsome and perfect hero ... in the anime, but how they did it felt too forced.

Another example (this is kinda a spoiler) is when Barnaby was in a room with someone (who's actually the bad guy but Barnaby didn't know yet. I'm sure you would also realize that he's the bad guy if you get to this episode. This anime is kinda cliche and the plot twists aren't mind blowing) and he suddenly received a call to discuss something important. Normally, you would get outta the room or if you want to include the person near you, then you should include them to the conversation. But no, he just stood there and spoke really loud so that the bad guy would hear his conversation with the caller. Too convenient if you ask me.

Lastly, about their team name. This anime is called "Tiger and Bunny". Why put "Tiger" first? Ofc cuz Kotetsu is the main character. Despite that, he's a sidekick to Barnaby in the anime. However, their team name is "Tiger and Barnaby". It's weird to put Kotetsu's name first when he's supposed to be an extra to Barnaby. I see this as something important cuz even in research papers, we put the main writer's name first. And it's Batman and Robin, right? Not Robin and Batman.

There're still many plot holes but I think these are enough cuz I don't wanna spoil the story. Still, it got me hooked on during the few last episodes. Furthermore, it has decent English (I didn't notice any grammar error. I'm not native tho) which is actually not often in anime. So 6/10 for me.

Give it a go if you don't mind some plot holes. It's still enjoyable to watch.
