Re-post because of MAL's requirement, no changes are mdae.
I just give it full mark because I truly think Sunoharasou no Kanrinin-san is an outstanding anime in every aspect. However, noted that it's clearly a fetish-based anime. Therefore the scores really depends on how much you love Oneesan-Shota or Gal-Shota actions and fan-services.
If you like them, this really cute anime will be no doubt an outstanding anime for you. If not, it's probably not an anime for you.
"Oneesan/Gal X Shota" had been a really big genre in the world of doujin and illustration. We have seen flashes of it in Minami-ke, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid
...
and Oshiete! Galko-chan, but they aren't the main focus of the show. There is Kanokon, but the concept in general was rarely explored in the anime world.
And here comes Sunoharasou no Kanrinin-san.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Story
It's adapted from a 4-Koma manga, which means it's going to be a Slice of Life anime. Don't expect any extraordinary plot and plot twist, but it'll give you a very relaxing experience. There is also a lot of fan-services, which is also great.
One of the problem for 4-Koma adaptation is that, pacing would be weird if it's not done probably. But it's not a problem in Sunoharasou no Kanrinin-san, as Shimo Fumihiko, one of the best Series Composition ever, is doing the job.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Characters
As mentioned, it's a SoL anime where character development is not necessary. So the biggest question lays in the character designs.
As one of the pioneer for this sub-genre in anime, the character design doesn't need to be extraordinary. In fact, it has to be as basic and typical as possible to set a tone for future anime to work on.
Aki's feminine looking, shy personality and shorts make him the perfect shota.
Kanrinin-san's motherly breast, apron and affectionate behaviour make her the perfect Oneesan. Therefore, the character design of Suroharasou no Kanrinin-san is literally perfect.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sound
The soundtrack is by Kawada Ruka, an experienced composer for SoL anime, and the it is great this time also. The op and ed are great, and they fit the anime. Voice actors are excellent.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Artstyle
Silver Link is one of the more experienced and competent studio in handling harem or SoL adaptations. The use of colour is light and lines are soft, which fit the adorable, motherly, peaceful atmosphere of the show. Animation is looking fluid so far, hopefully they can keep it up.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Conclusion
This is one of those very good anime that is not made for everyone. People who aren't their target audience may find it boring, or I've seen some people calling it "trash" because they don't need it. But I need this, and it's exactly what I want so perfect anime 10/10.

Before reviewing, I need to thank all the staff involved in creating Mitsuboshi colors, which is one of the most wholesome, cute and joyful anime ever created. This anime allows us all to experience the heart of children, or fun and privileged of being a child again. It is not a perfect anime, but talking about anime that excels at what they are doing, this anime is a masterpiece.
Story: 10/10
The story is about our protagonists, who are three naughty elementary school girls with different personality, formed a team called colors to "protect the peace of the street area" (actually they are just playing around).
...
All the episodes are about events related to the theme of childhood fun, like going to zoo and museum or playing hide-and-seek, which is rarely depicted in anime, and they done it perfectly.
Art: 8/10
The choice of art, like the hair colours of the kids, are vivid and distinct, which fit the atmosphere of the show. They borrow the art style of Ichigo Marshimaro for the three little girls, which is one of the most cute, but not sexual way, to draw lolis. This is a brilliant and safe choice, as it tremendously helps people to actually concentrate on the content of the show.
This anime still has the traditional "Silver Link problem", which is to have a small budget, which led to the heavy use of simplified art work and still frames and photos. However, they handle this limitation in the least possibly harmful way, it rarely distract the viewers from the experience (the bgm helps a lot). In this respect, other studios should learn take notes from Silver Link in how to make good anime with small budget.
Moreover, even with the limited budget, they still try their best to be detail with their art. It is done with the attires, which a lot of people could overlook. Every mother would admit that one of the biggest fun of having children is to dress them. Watching our cute lolis in over 100 different attire combined throughout the series is definitely an additional fun to the series. These are the little things that display the heart of the staff without burning money.
Sound: 9/10
BGM, OP and EDs are all outstanding and fitting. I took away one mark because the BGM for the first episode is too loud. It would definitely be fixed on BD release. Voice acting is on point for all of the characters.
Character: 10/10
The character is usually the best part of a Slice of Life anime, Mitsuboshi Colors is no exception. The personality and behaviour of Yui, Sacchan and Kotoha are all extremely well-crafted. The author must have spent a lot of time observing kids when creating them. Explaining their characters would involve spoilers, but I would say every one of them has her own "kid's philosophy" to support the way they act, and they are all pure and simple, but not one-dimensional.
The rest of the cast are made up of nice people that would play with the kids, which provide a heartwarming atmosphere for the show. The chemistry between them and the policeman Saito is one of the funniest thing of the anime too.
Enjoyment: 10/10
Instead of "acting cute" like most moe anime, this anime aim at acting natural, which resembles the cute side of children in real life. This type of cuteness is much more precious in anime, the closest thing is probably Renge from Non Non Biyori, and Ichigo Mashimaro.
Mitsuboshi Colours have better comedy (though in sacrifice for the comfortableness) when comparing with the two anime I've mentioned, as it is a story about three naughty kids, not just one Renge or Miu. There are countless hilarious scenes throughout the story, especially in scene that display the way of thinking by children.
All in all, I would rate Mitsuboshi colours a 10 out of 10, and hopefully everyone can experience childhood fun once again through this amazing anime.

Mayoi Neko Overrun is basically 12 anime in 1 anime. It has a different episode director, animation director and key animation every episode. How does it matters?
It actually doesn't matter. If you are one of those who hate "generic" otaku anime, PLEASE DON'T WATCH THIS ANIME. It has everything you don't want to have in it, like tsundere, dense MC, harem, fan-services. If you get bothered by the major premise, there is no way you can enjoy the minor staff.
But if you are one of those who actually appreciate and enjoy school harem anime, Mayoi Neko Overrun! will definitely be a refreshing and rare watching
...
experience for you, since there are 12 different styles of presentation. You don't see anime do this that often, especially in the harem category. Hope that you can match up with the "Denpa" comedy. That's how most of the anime by AIC works, just like Sora no Otoshimono, Oreimo, Haganai. They bear the weight of being entertainment gearing towards male otaku audience, but they still putting a lot of effort in the meticulous matters (that actually majority of the watchers do not cares, they don't even notice, Oreimo is the biggest example).
Story: 6
The overall flow of anime feels like Kotoura-san (another anime by AIC), 3 episodes of story, Slice of life for the middle episodes, then get back to telling story near the end of the anime. This pace changing is not very viewer-friendly and got a lot of complain in Kotoura-san, but it works out well here.
Story is fair, actually the worse part of this anime is the story. I mean the first 2 episodes.
The middle part is where this anime shine. It is fair to say that the Mayoi Neko Overun! starts at episode 4.
The general feeling of the story is heartwarming, just like every other work by Matsu Tomohiro (R.I.P.), its original creator.
Art
Art is pretty good. The 12 different styles of presentation already provide enough things for you to pay attention to. The occasional 3D animation is great, especially in the episodes preview where we get 3D maids.
Sound
It has an incredible voice acting cast. If you are a fan of Japanese voice actors, you sure would know how big that cast is and you would probably enjoy the anime just by listening to the seiyuu's performance.
They do put some effort in their opening and ending too, just standard AIC things. Not on Oreimo or Heaven's lost property level where you get a new ed every episodes. But you can expect there may be different ed in a few of the episodes. If you are one of those who skip everything then it doesn't matter.
In episode 4 there are some very funny use of background noises and bgm, you can pay some extra attention to it.
Characters
Just the characters you can expect from a harem anime. It's a cute and fun cast and so it's great. As much as I admire originality, there is no need to blindly search for originality in every aspect of a show.
Kiriya Nozomi has a very cute and interesting design. I will not be surprised if Mashiro Shiina's design is inspired by her. Since Mayoi Neko Overrun is actually quite popular in Japan back in 2010. If I recall correctly the BD sales at first release is around 4500 which is well above average.
Enjoyment
Comedies are more towards random or slap stick comedies, Baka to test/ Inu to Hasami wa Tsukaiyou's style. Keep it in mind that you're watching a comedy then it would be enjoyable. In other words, if you know how to have fun, you'll enjoy it. I know it sounds stupid but you'll understand what I mean if you are a patron for these light novel comedies.
There are a lot of fanservices too, and I like it.
Overall
I usually rate any anime that I thoroughly enjoy a 10, but I can only give it a 9 here because to be honest I don't enjoy the first 2 episodes very much.
Another thing to keep in mind is that I'm like the perfect target audience of this anime. If you don't care about seiyuu or don't like school harem romcom, fan-services and all the other staff I mentioned, I expect the rating would be a lot lower for you.

Danganronpa the animation is one of those anime with mixed receiving. The funny thing is that, people who don't like this anime, a lot of them, are actually danganronpa fans. People mostly knew nothing about Danganronpa before watching it, and I'm one of them.
TL;DR: 8/10, but not recommend watching if you like playing game.
So is Danganronpa a good anime? Yes
Pink blood, battle royale with trials, execution, Monokuma. Danganronpa the animation definitely guarantees a fresh and exciting experience for people who knew NOTHING about it. The character design and the "hope v despair" theme may be a little bit embarrassing at first, but that's
...
just something for people to get used to. The plot is next level, everything in this anime rounds up in the most incomprehensible, but not necessarily acceptable, way.
The investigation part is clearly not well done. All the evidence just flashes across the screen without explanation, it is almost impossible for audience to guess the killer from the evidence unless they are Sherlock Holmes or have read spoilers.
But even so, Danganronpa is still a great thriller. The pace is so intense that you don't bother to find out who is the killer is yourself, you just want to watch the next episode!!
I would give it a 8 out of 10 as an anime.
But did the anime do justice to its source? No.
I played the game and its sequel after I watched the anime. The anime is not nearly as good as the game.
The anime is so rush that:
1. You know nothing about the characters and they die.
2. Investigation is so short that it is impossible to figure out the culprit by the evidence.
The anime gives you a feeling that you are like watching a quick walkthrough of the game, as it cut everything from the game except for the plot.
You won't get blown out by the twist, because you saw it miles away, and you have played the detailed version.
You won't get terrified by the execution, because you have seen it multiple times.
You won't get emotional (except chapter 4) becasue you haven't spend much time with the characters. The team decided to make it as a 1-cour thriller so the character part is sacrifised.
It's not a very good anime for people who have played the game. maybe a 5 or 6 out of 10.
But at the end of the day, I don't think it is ever fair to call an anime bad because the game is better. Anime has its own limitation, you can't expect a 4-hour anime can display every merit from a almost 40-hour game. Compromising is a must.
Danganronpa the animation is definitely a successful anime that introduce a lot more people into the franchise, including me. I still remember how excited I am when I first watched this anime, how scared I am watching the first execution, how shocked I am when I learned the truth, and how cautious I am when using the Internet because spoilers are everywhere. I'm very glad that this anime exists even it cannot represent the game. Without this anime, I don't think I would ever learn about this franchise, and play Danganronpa 2 (which is still my favourite game up to date).

This anime is criminally underrated here, probably because it has every qualities to get a low score on myanimelist. (episodic manner, non-plot-heavy, fan-services, mysterious Japanese snacks and commercial-ish) It is not the type of anime that everyone would like, but I am glad that I never trust the score of MAL and believe in my intuition when I picking up anime.
For the story, as a Slice of Life anime, it never intends to tell a story. Plot almost doesn't exist to begin with. Therefore it is kind of irrelevant and unfair to judge the value of this anime with its plot.
For the
...
art and sounds, snacks look delicious. Eyes are unique. OP and ED are catchy. The voice acting is great. Hotaru is voiced by Taketatsu Ayana, who is a very polished voice actor. other characters are also voiced by experienced voice actors.
Characters: It has a very small cast of only 5 people. All 5 of them are fun to watch. No complains.
Enjoyment: The most important aspect of an anime is always the enjoyment. This anime can be thoroughly enjoyable, can be terrible. It really depends on what types of viewer you are.
1. Fan-services: This anime has a moderate amount of it which make the it overall more fun to watch, so it's good news for me. What's better is that they didn't overdone it, snacks and talks are still the major appeal of this show.
2. Sense of humour: If you like the following things, you will like this anime.
-Innuendos: This anime has a lots of Innuendos, they are like the refined form of fan-services, and are even more exciting than flashing boobs.
-''Ridiculous humour'': Hotaru is a ridiculous character, it is an enjoyment to watch Hotaru talking and acting over-the-top about snacks.
-Parody: The parody are the core of this anime, mostly in two forms:
1. characters acting so serious over some silliy competition
2. anthropomorphic snacks having some little drama
3. Nostalgia
It's really a personal factor. I don't know the situation overseas, but Japanese snacks like Babystar, Umaibou and Morinaga milk candy are very accessible in Hong Kong. Of course not all of them are available in local snacks store, but even when they are not available, we always can have their China counterpart (counterfeit). I don't know how to describe the feeling when they talk about my childhood snacks. Maybe it's like meeting my childhood friends? I really don't know, but I thoroughly enjoy it.
So overall it is a 9 out of 10 for me. I am really disappointed to see this anime is not loved here, but I mean different audience have different tastes, it is what it is. Some may call it a snack commercial. I believe it is, I even prepare some Dagashi to eat while watching the last few episodes. Therefore it is a successful commercial anime. Can't wait to watch season 2.

The creator of Papakiki, Tomohiro Matsu, is a good person. (He has recently pass away, RIP) He would protect the characters from suffering and sacrifice the plot.
Usually it's the other way, like Urobuchi Gen, writers would make the characters suffer in order to bring tension to the plot.
So is it a good thing? I really depends, I am not a person that cares a lot about plot so it's okay for me.
Papakiki is a show that abandoned its plots for the reasons of love.
The story is not very good.
The premises is very good. If the writer really wants to take it seriously, it
...
has great potential.
However despite having a tragedy premise, the writer seems to keep preventing bad things from happening in the story.
Plot just stop developing every time it hit some heavy subject.
This makes the show boring because nothing actually happened.
The music doesn't fit too.
Its op is called ''Happy Girls'' even though it is about little girls losing both of their parents in an aeroplane accident.
The ed is a piece of catchy electronic music which can destroy all the ''feel'' you've got from that episode.
So why do I like it?
It is all about love and care.
It has one of the most likable cast of characters.
The male MC is the most hardworking and responsible character I've seen in a while.
The oldest girl is really mature and caring.
The second girl is also very mature and has high EQ too.
Hina is just pure cuteness.
No wonder why the MC, or the writer, tried to protect the girls so much.
Papakiki is just a cute, lovable and really heart-warming show overall.
It is not something spectacular with mind-blowing plot twists and have you crying for days. But if you want some to feel some love, you can give it a try.

THIS REVIEW CONTAINS HEAVY SPOILERS
It's really laughable that modern anime fans always whine that modern anime have no depth while themselves can't even comprehend anime like Oreimo. I can imagine these 3 episodes will definitely piss off a lot of fans (as it is a 100% Kirino ending), but I really appreciate how well-executed this ending (or the whole series) is.
Enjoyment
The enjoyment can be vastly difference for people from different cultural background and having different preferences on characters of the story. I personally enjoy it because I like incest. Honestly I would be disappointed if the writer didn't go with the title.
Sound and
...
Art
Excellent voice acting, god-like sound track and a new ed every episode, musics of Oreimo is outstanding as always. Art wasn't anything especially outstanding but it's great as always.
Characters
These 3 episodes are very important as it "completed" the character of Manami. All the important characters in Oreimo, Kirino Ayase, Kuroneko and Kyosuke are simple design but complex. Characters have their own thoughts under the story and aren't just convenient tools. Manami has always been a weaker character to me. But episodes 13 and this OVA completed the whole Manami's character. She is no god. And it doesn't come out of nowhere, the true relationship between the sibling and Manami has been hinted since the first two episodes of Oreimo. This ending did an outstanding job in giving all the remaining information we need and display how they become themselves.
Story
This ending is unrealistically romantic. Public proposing at Christmas , rejecting girls after girls just to declare his love, kissing at an empty wedding hall, these ''romantic monuments'' are already not easy for normal couples to achieve, and they are brother and sister. This is the most romantic rides I've had in my life, words from a 30 years-old grown man.
The show is also unromantically realistic. Everyone knows, reality is not Eroge. Oreimo is not Yosuga no Sora. They are a part of the city. They have their own place. Their incest love is not going to be approved by their parents, laws, or people in society. In other words, it is not possible. That's also why they keep asking each other ''Then, What should we do?''
The most touching scene of the story is when Kyosuke begging Manami's mercy. When Manami cornered them to face reality, Kirino almost told her the truth. If Kirino really explain what is happening to Manami, Manami would definitely let them go. But their fantasy, their own Eroge would just end. They would just run right back into reality.
But Kyosuke stop Kirino from doing so, he reject Manami and shouting how he loves his little sister and rejecting Manami. Just to keep Kirino's unrealistic incest fantasy untainted by reality. After the wedding, the game is completed. Kirino's dream is completed under Kyosuke selfless sacrifices. Even though they are no longer lovers, the memories of months of eroge-like realtionship are still there. These days will always be a little secret between them. They are still more than just a brother and sister, as long as they can have life-counselling.
This anime starts with a life counselling of Eroge, and end with a ''life counselling of Eroge''. How can Oreimo possibly be that cute.
I would say Oreimo is meticulous at small and reckless at large. Almost every single hints in the first 2 season is collected. All the foreshadowing and little details since the first season really impressed me. Especially in episodes that featuring Eroge or Manami (1,2,6,9,11).
For example, from the recording Kirino said "she would looks for hint at her best to make her love work out", and the solution is actually found in the bad end of an Eroge (S1 Ep.9), which is the initial form of her final plan, and she gave that exact same game to Kyosuke for the one year anniversary of life counselling to let him know how her feel. (S2 Ep.1) A lot of this little staff is never spoken in Oreimo and these kind of little details are spread all throughout Oreimo, and that's why Oreimo is one of the most underrated masterpiece of all time.

When you just think nothing can go wrong with this show. Kumamiko suicide for artistic purpose. Nobody is expecting that. This show is so malicious ,
Kumamiko is one of those anime that I don't enjoy and I won't recommend watching, but I still think it's good.
The most prominent ''problem'' of this anime is that its ending (which is not based on the original manga) is filled with negativity. This was not supposed to happen in comedy, even the creator of the original manga is dissatisfied with it. However if you pay enough attention throughout the show, this ending is well-planned by the anime production team...
...
The malice is real.
The first half of the anime is really enjoyable. Especially episode 3. It deserves a 99/100.
However the another part of the anime starts to make people feel uneasy. Different from the manga, the anime pay a lot of attention of the ''Sacrifice'' theme. Making the whole show turning into a loli-bullying fiesta. Machi and bear are still cute as always, Yoshio is still enthusiastic as always. However something just feel wrong, but you will still have some good laugh here and there.
Moreover, none of the characters in this show is perfect. Everybody in this show is selfish in some way, but ironically they are all good in nature. That makes the show unnecessarily complex as a comedy, but I can't blame the team for doing that.
All in all, I really appreciate that this anime did a great job in making everyone feel bad. I still adore Natsu and Machi anyway, even though they are faulted in many ways. If you feel bad after watching this show, go read the manga to cheer you up.
