Eiga Daisuki Pompo-san aka "A movie on how to make a movie!". It's a love letter to all the classic filmmakers.

At the very end of the year, I got my "Anime Movie of the Year". Its visuals are so beautiful that you just want to stare at them. In this ninety-minute movie, so much energy, so many ideas, so much food for thought, and emotions have been packed in that I was honestly surprised. The characters are as vivid as they are realistic. There are also some great dialogues.

The story is about the journey of making a life dream come true. The message of the ...

This OVA just came out in Eng sub a few days ago. And here I am writing a few lines about it after having finished watching. I'll keep it short. This OVA is chronologically set up between S2 and S3. The positives were the plot/storyline and the production value of the first three quarters. Our favorite girls were put in a very interesting scenario where they had to fight it out amongst themselves, while the mood was always light and friendly. The drawback, however, was it severely cut corners presenting the musical performances at the back end of the show.
All in all, I'm really happy ...

Perfect Blue (Anime) add
Take out the second word from the title and the rest will be my one-word-opinion on the film :3

The story is as interesting and unnerving as it is relatable. The animation is smooth and mimics real life, making it quite suitable to the story and theme it's going for. Different kinds of sounds have been used in the film as a means to connect to the viewers. The characterization is just a masterclass. We can easily delve into each character's psyche and understand their actions. They feel... terrifyingly real. There is no wasted moment in this relatively short movie. Literally every frame has a ...

Mixed Feelings
After watching the first season of SAO, a question might arise in your minds - "how did Asuna get this good? How did she get into VRMMORPG anyway?" This movie shows the opening events of SAO in Asuna's POV, expands on her backstory, and answers those questions. The actions scenes and the music were fire, really enjoyed those. The writing got real sloppy in the second half though. But it was a real treat to see so much characterization of Asuna in the first half.

Story: 6/10
The plot felt rather mediocre because we have already experienced many stories like this (yeah ik SAO was one of ...

Time to write a review on Revealing Reviews HAHAHA....

Anyways, this short OVA is well written indeed. It gives a glimpse on the characterization of Chise and Beatrice. They both watch a fairy-tail-monster-hunt movie together and basically give reviews on it in front of the moe spy gang. The two of them have very different takes on the movie, which goes to show how the viewer's personality traits have an effect on their observation. The part they enjoyed, the part they didn't enjoy, the part they focused on - everything is different. It was a really fun and somewhat insightful watch. What more to expect from ...

Just watched the recently released Kakushigoto compilation movie. It somehow compressed the TV series into a roughly 80 mins long film. It showed almost all of the beginning and ending part, and skipped a lot of the middle part if I'm not wrong. The extra scenes were added to give vital information about Hime's mom and to stretch the ending a little bit. One of the main problems of the TV series was the rushed ending, but this movie tried to fix that. I would've liked the duration to be longer and more scenes from the TV series to be added, but I still liked ...

This review is in both English and Bengali.

In a word, a modern masterpiece. There is no reason not to watch this. It will always be a jewel in the mystery genre.

Brief introduction:
The story takes place in Tokyo, Japan. The protagonist of the story is a middle-aged taxi driver named Odokawa. His nature is to speak less and speak in a cynical tone. In each episode of the story he serves different passengers. In the story, he happens to be involved in the kidnapping of a high school girl. He gets chased by two members of the Japanese mafia. Will Odokawa be able to save himself ...

Id:Invaded (Anime) add
In brief, the story is about catching vicious murderers by diving inside their brain to find clues on how to identify them. The investigators basically go to a world created by the particles left from the murderer's killing intent. But while doing this, they find out that there is another manipulative villain out there, who might be responsible for making these murderers kill people. So now the chase begins to catch them.

The first thing I noticed was the commendable direction. A mystery anime needs to provide just enough clues/info to keep the viewers interested, but not too much so that most viewers figure out the ...

This anime tells the journey of three high school girls to make anime. One is a pocket rocket of imaginative powers and has great skills in background art and sound direction. Another is a passionate animator. And the third girl? Watch the anime to get your answer 😉 Together they make a fun combination and compliment each other nicely.

This anime is short, sweet, and straight to the point. No excess shenanigans or nothing. It shows us in nice detail about various aspects of the anime industry: character design, animation, attention to detail, when and why to use 3D graphics, the suitable use of sound, the ...

For some reason I can't remember now, I didn't watch this movie until today. Very recently I saw a nice clip of this movie, and heard some good stuff about it. Had some spare time, and decided to watch it. Here are some random thoughts.

The visual and the music and the overall atmosphere is definitely on par with other good Ghibli films. As expected from a Hayao Miyazaki directed film.

I liked the theme of the movie a lot. It's about mankind's destruction of the natural balance and a guy trying to retaliate against this (and probably taking it a bit too far). Further details will ...
