This was a unique story, I have never seen anything like it. The background art was incredible, although the people themselves lacked. The sound was alright, it fit the series well, however nothing amazing to really comment on. I'm not a fan of gore or nudity, however I decided to overlook many aspects. This also includes the relationship between Kouta and Yuka. I think of them as childhood friends rather than family. After seeing so much fan art on the show, I decided to give it a shot. The first few episodes confused me, since I really didn't know what the show was about. Even though, I kept watching and I eventually ended up really enjoying the show. I'm very picky with anime, and usually don't watch shows like this one.I love the fact they are short and I can easily fit them in my study breaks. I see them like little breather episodes. After watching the anime, I wanted more about L. He was the best character and didn't deserve such an ending. He was my favorite character, yet we didn't learn much about him. So, I read this and I enjoyed it. I don't want to give away any spoilers, but the characters were very unique, one in particular, and the story had a natural vibe to it.
