This is a very cute story that I think all girls should watch. I don't much recommend it for boys, unless they are in touch with their feminine side :)
STORY: He magically becomes not blind? That sorta confused me a little, but I guess it was supposed to be like magic and stuff. This story is not totally like a lot of other anime stories, because it actually teaches something. I was a story that had morals and values. It shows that judging people is wrong. They seem to tie religion into the story a little. The story about the man walking with God is
...
where the show got it's name, Footprints in the Sand. The explanations about some of the story and the character's lives took too long for them to explain. For awhile I was confused why everyone hated Hayami. It took them too long to explain it. But it’s things like that that kept me watching it so intently. Hotaru’s past is SAD!!! The story that she wrote as a little kid in her sketchbook is so cool because it ties into the story. It pretty much IS the story. Episodes 7 and 9 were by far my favorites. EPISODE 8 WAS SOOOO RANDOM AND CONFUSING! But then it got explained and everything was okay. Episode 11… was very demented in a way. The twist at the end was… PERFECT. I actually got shivers watching it. It was one of the best endings EVER! Gosh I want to spoil the story so badly.
ART: Best landscape paintings ever. The drawings are good. In some episodes they seem better than in others. I don't know why that is. But overall I really enjoyed the drawings. In the last episode when they are all grown up I don't think they made some of the girls look old enough. I think they were supposed to be in their mid 20s and they still looked like teenagers. Maybe that's me being a little too picky. The softness of the coloring of the drawings are so beautiful!
SOUND: Nice OP theme. They play the same background music all the time… but it’s pretty good I guess. Not the biggest fan of the ED but it’s cute I guess. There are some parts where the music they play is very Irish sounding. I really did enjoy those moments! They did a lot of good sound effects where they were needed :) Not gonna say much more without spoiling some things.
CHARACTER: One thing I MUST say about this anime is that they have great character development. I didn’t like a few characters at first but grew to like them. Hotaru was the one character I really hated at first. But after explanations, she became one of my favorites! The characters all had friendships and pasts. Friendship that goes beyond all limits was a common theme in this anime. Hotaru and Hayami have the best friendship ever by the end. It’s so sad and inspiring! Otaha made me laugh ;) I love when she just randomly pops up out of nowhere all the time. Hirose’s uncle is sooooo weird. He makes me laugh in every single scene. Hirose is a good main character. He did get a tad annoying in a few episodes. But he is so hot grown up! Hayami's past and the way people treated her and she still stayed so strong was very inspirational!
ENJOYMENT: Lots of boob jokes. Lots of funny scenes. But there are even more sad scenes. I cried... in at least 4 episodes. Out of 12... that's a good amount. I'm gonna miss watching it and sitting at the edge of my seat wondering what was gonna happen next!!!
Overall, a great anime and I recommend it for sure!

THIS IS THE ONLY PERFECT 10 I THINK I'LL EVER GIVE!
I really think that this is the best yaoi I have ever watched and will ever watch. There is pretty much no comparison to how amazing it is. I mean, sure, it only is really attractive to yaoi fans to watch it, but I think that other people could learn to love it… at least the story.
STORY – It’s totally amazing how they have two storied going at different points. There will be episodes about Usagi and Misaki, and then there will be an episode about Hiroki and Nowaki. The story line for Usagi and
...
Misaki is sooooo humorous and yet adorable and dramatic. And then on the complete opposite spectrum, Hiroki and Nowaki ‘s story is so heart-renching and romantic. Both of the stories are very interesting and I personally can say that I can relate to them VERY well. Especially the story of Hiroki and Nowaki... it is almost exactly like a situation I have been in before. And it’s great how the story of Hiroki and Nowaki is tied into the relationship of Usagi and Misaki.
ART – Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful… the shading and colors are so amazing, and everything is so well drawn. This artist sure knows how to draw attractive men with great expressions and actions. Their faces and body language are always so perfect. Not only that, but there are also moments were the drawings are very cartoony and humorous and they make me laugh and go… “AWWW, that’s soooo cute!” I absolutely would date any of those guys. The drawings are to die for. EXCEPT, the characters all have the same hair cut! And it makes it sooo hard to tell people apart sometimes. It’s easy to get confused.
SOUND – Not all that much background music, but when there is, it is very well-placed. Also, there are moments where small things, like forks on plates, just set the mood for the sound excellently. The voices for all the characters fit them very well, except for maybe Hiroki. I don’t exactly like his voice being that deep. It does not match his character very well to me. The OP theme is to die for. But I did not so much enjoy the ED… but you can’t always have it your way, yeah?
CHARACTERS – 4 main characters instead of just the normal two or three. I must say I like that, mostly because it gives the watcher more of a view of different kinds of people and there is more to relate to that way. I’ll go through every character for you:
Usagi – very manly and blunt. He blatantly comes out and says what he is thinking, and that is what is so attractive about him. He doesn’t really care what everyone thinks and he is very understanding. He wants love and he finds that love in Misaki.
Misaki – just absolutely adorable! He is somewhat whiney at times, but he is young, and at times is very naïve. It’s strange that he is 10 years younger than Usagi, but they really have a love/hate relationship. He changes his mind so much. He will at one moment love Usagi and then act like he hates his guts… it’s kinda stupid if you ask me.
Hiroki – I don’t really like his character as much, but he is also mature. But, he changes his mind so much. He is very… what’s the word… harsh. And it seems like he doesn’t care about anyone but himself sometimes.
Nowaki – personally, he is my favorite character. He is so loving and because he is truly in love he knows that he never wants to give up on Hiroki. I look up to him because he reminds me a lot of myself.
ENJOYMENT – I’m laughing at every episode of Usagi and Misaki. I’m crying at every episode of Hiroki and Nowaki. I somewhat wish that they could have split this show into two separate shows so that I was not trying so hard to remember the love affairs of all 4 characters, but none-the-less I enjoyed every second I watched this. :)
Every Yaoi lover MUST watch this show. It was the most amazing anime…

I actually read this only because I liked the cover picture and it was short... but I ended up enjoying it more than I suspected.
STORY: Well... I have to admit it wasn't the best. At least at the beginning, it was just like every other love story I've ever read in a manga. The one thing I hated was that it seemed like the same thing happened over and over... and being that there were only 6 chapters, you'd think something more exciting would have happened. It had potential to be a great story, but it was just lacking that something special. I wouldn't use
...
the word boring, but close to it.
ART: It was pretty good I must say. The shading and whatnot was not the best I've seen. And it did mimic a lot of other manga artists I know of. But it was still interesting to look at. For the first time ever, I must say that I think that the FEMALE characters were drawn much better than the males. Most of the way I'd say it's the other way around. But Akari's eyes are too big!!!! *sigh*
CHARACTER: Well, Akari is a good female character. Shy and yet sophisticated. Not perfect and yet not completely hopeless. I personally don't like male characters that are mean and bad with people. And that was EXACTLY how Ryusei is. Mr. Ken, the cat, is totally adorible!!!! :) That cat actually adds more juice to the story than most of the other characters. But the rest of the extra characters really don't add much to the story, except maybe Naoki. But even he doesn't make the story much better.
ENJOYMENT: I did enjoy reading this manga. I laughed a couple times. If it was an anime I would have cried at least once. But there was just something very enjoyable about it. You keep wishing to yourself that things will work out and they will be happy. That's what makes it so enjoyable.
This series could have been great, if only it was given more time. :)

First of all, B.O.D.Y. was one of those mangas that I was never planning on reading. But one of my friends shoved it in my face and told me to at least try it. And once I started reading it I just could not put it down.
STORY: At first the story started out like all the others. Girl falls in love with boy. Boy likes girl but there are problems with their relationship. But then, this story took off and became very interesting. More characters were introduced and surprising things happened that you would not expect. Cheating, lying, laughing, crying... the characters made the story
...
perfect. Because of the personalities of the characters, the story was interesting. I don't wanna spoil anything, so that's all that I can say. I mean, host clubs are interesting anyway :)
ART: First I must say, I am sooooo jealous of these characters' clothes. They always dress sooooo amazingly! The only thing I must say I did not like about the art is that there didn't seem to be amazing drawings in the smaller boxes. When the art took up a whole page, it looked AMAZING. And don't get me wrong, the art was good all the way through, I just think that some of it could have been worked on a little harder. I also noticed that often the main character Ryoko is drawn with this stupid expression on her face, even when it shouldn't be like that.
CHARACTER: This is where B.O.D.Y. excells in my opinion. The main character is very well-rounded. Ryoko is naive but yet she will not let herself be walked all over. Her lover, Ryu, is my favorite character. He is that shy kid that no one is friends with, but he turns out to be someone very different, someone every girl falls for at the host club. He is HOT! Three other characters are later introduced that are VERY important to the story, and they really are also well-rounded characters. That whole "I have a tortured past and I'm trying to be better than that." idea.
ENJOYMENT: I laughed while reading this manga. I mean, it really isn't meant to be that humorous I don't think. But at some points I did laugh. Near the end of the story I did cry. Yes, I cried... I don't usually cry while reading a manga, but it was sad. And this story is something I can totally relate to.
Overall, I have to give this a perfect 10. They should make it into an anime :)

Noein was one of the first anime on TV that I watched every week obsessively. It also is one of those anime that I do not feel has gotten enough love from viewers.
STORY - It's soooo unique! I mean, quantum physics, time warps, different dimensions? It's very sci fi if you ask me. If you like all those gadgets and technological advances in science, grab this and watch it right away! But if you get confused by big words and fancy science lingo, you may get slightly lost in this. I did have to ask my sister what a couple things meant while we watched
...
this, BUT they do try their best in the anime to explain things and make it less confusing. It just may take awhile for the viewer to understand. And the conclusion of this series is TO DIE FOR!
ART - okay, so it's not that great. But good art does not make a good anime. It's not that the art is BAD, it's just a very different style. It's a tad sloppy and I think that it is a very positive thing for this anime. It's all about dimensions and traveling though time and space, so I just think that the art represents that concept SO well. :) It's like reading a comic book, except... watching it. haha.
SOUND - The OP and ED were both... good to say the least. They weren't songs that I would listen to over and over again, but it's not like I couldn't stand to sit there and listen to them. There were really amazing sound effects when the members of Lacrima battle. The sounds are very tech-ish and futuristic. Throughout the anime, when there were sad moments, they found great music to fit. But as I said, nothing really jumped out as unforgettable.
CHARACTER - The memebers of Lacrima had VERY unique and well thought out characters. Karasu was my favorite major character. His hair is just so awesome! haha. But really, he is a great character who changes the ENTIRE story with his actions. I can't say much more without giving away huge spoliers. Haruka (yes it's where I got my screename) is a cute girl character with a good voice actress... thank goodness. I really didn't think she was a very good MAIN character, but she is the most important element to the story. The cutest couple ever, is Haruka and Yuu. It's so cute... best friends who fall in love. It doesn't get much better than that. But I promise, it's not a romance story at all. The lesser "human" characters give the humor element to the story. Miho, Ai, and mostly Isami are cute characters who effect the main characters but they really don't do much except make you laugh. The Lacrima minor characters are some of my favorite. Tobi and Atori are my favorites personally. Without them there would be no story! (Gosh, it's so hard not to add spoliers...)
ENJOYMENT - very very very enjoyable. It's got science, humor, fighting, and even a very small amount of romance. I mean, really, if you like ANY of those elements in an anime, this one is a great one to watch! (oh, and by the way, after you watch it, which I'm hoping you will, there are funny deleted voiceovers on youtube. They made me laugh so hard!)
Noein gets a 9 from me!!! :)

Wow... I must tell you before you read this review that it has been awhile since I watched Tokko.
I really do not think this anime has gotten enough love. It was actually a VERY great anime with a great story. Even though, it made me very upset that they ended it with pretty much... no ending. It was kind of just... over.
This anime... is not for little kids. Very bloody and a lot of swearing, but that was one of the reasons I liked it so much!
STORY: I think that this anime had an amazing story. I mean, sure it's kinda getting old, the whole,
...
"My family died in this major massacre/accident and only I survived...". But, looking past that, the way Ranmaru deals with it and wants to right the wrongs is very inspiring. This is a story of... killing demons pretty much. But the creators of this anime made it more interesting than that. Because there are so many stories like this one, they had to do something to make it stand out from the rest. I think that the characters make this story. I'll get to that later, though.
ART: It's true... the main reason why people have not watched Tokko is not because the story is not amazing, but it's just because the artwork is not "blow me away" incredible. It's just... decent. The drawings have that kind of rugged look to them, which suits it well for a horror/slasher anime.
SOUND: The OP theme is TO DIE FOR! I totally adore it. It even put it on my I-pod. But don't listen too many times, or it gets stuck in your head forever... mwahaha! Throughout the anime, the sound is just... eh. Not too amazing. They do some cool background music I guess, but nothing that really makes you get into the story.
CHARACTER: This is where I belive Tokko excells. At least, with the main characters. Ranmaru Shindo is probably one of the coolest anime characters ever made in my eyes. He's hot, he's a policeman, and he has special powers that he doesn't even know about. Plus, he's got that traumatic past thing going for him. :) I dig that. It took me a few episodes to start liking the main female character, Sakura. First of all... the name Sakura is so over-used. But looking past that, she really turned out to be a great character and played a very important part in the story. Without her, Ronmaru would not have been as amazing. They were a great pair :) A few of the lesser characters (the male ones) where also great, but I'm not gonna spoil it for you. Sadly, the lesser female characters were semi annoying. Especially Ronmaru's younger sister Saya. But, she was important to the story and she made for some good laughs along the way.
ENJOYMENT: VERY enjoyable anime. I mean, who doesn't like hot men and women running around fighting monsters and cutting them up and swearing all the time? Cause I know that I like that sort of thing. There were some intense and emotional moments. Not very many laughs, but a couple popped out along the way. :)
Please tell people about this anime. It really needs more love. It was incredible!

I believe that Loveless is MUCH MORE than just some shounen-ai story. It is so much deeper than that. It really delves into the life of a young boy who is lost in the world. Ritsuka's real name being Loveless is a strong showing of that fact.
I have to say that sadly, I was confused a few times while watching this anime. And many people I have talked to get very upset about how it was ended. They say that there were too many questions left unanswered. But think about it, in real life, there are always more questions that have not been answered.
STORY: I
...
have to give this a lower rating because, although at the start the story moved along very smoothly, near the end things got very confusing. At first it was simple. Ritsuka lost his brother, and his fighter Soubi came along because Semei ordered him to. And they fought enemies. Not too hard to understand. But then new characters were introduced and they brought up even more questions, half of which never got answered.
ART: AMAZING. The colors used in this anime are simply awe-inspiring. The way they portray Soubi as a butterfly and they show it in beautiful colors is just wonderful. The characters are all well-drawn and very cute/handsome (in Soubi's case) The noses bug me a tad, but I'll get over it. :)
SOUND: Also great. The OP song is one that I actually always listen to every time I watch an episode. When romantic moments are occuring throughout the course of the season, they play very nice background music. Same with sad moments. The music goes along well with the mood. And not even one of the character voices are annoying! Not even Yuiko. And that surprised me.
CHARACTER: I think that if I could add more favorite characters to my list, EVERY single character from this anime would be on it. There is such a good mix of personailities, from the shy Ritsuka to the serious Soubi and the playful Yuiko and the HILARIOUS Yayoi. The way the characters all relate is very nice as well. Although at times, I was confused at why Ritsuka would just let Soubi kiss him and whatnot, but still... very good interactions and love triangles. It's the whole grade school, "I like her but she likes him..." ordeal. And I sometimes like that! It makes the story much more light and humorous.
ENJOYMENT: I gave this a 9 because for the most part, I was very entertained. There were a few episodes where I did not laugh or almost cry at all. But something kept me watching this anime. I think for the most part it was the characters. But I enjoyed the fights and the love between Ritsuka and Soubi. I just wish there had been more episodes to enjoy.
Overall, I give this anime a 9. Oh... and lastly, go team Zero! *squee*

I must say that honestly I believe Death Note is the greatest anime of all time. It is the COMPLETE package. It is the only anime I ever watched that I could not stop watching. It really makes you think and it has soooo many good twists throughout the entire series. You never really know what's going to happen next.
Story: I mean, it's so unique. What other series have you heard of with Shinigamis and notebooks that can kill people? And it really appeals to a lot of different tastes. It is suspenseful without being scary. And it is funny without just being a comedy.
...
Art: Death Note's art is pretty amazing, but sometimes it seemed like the artist randomly changed. In a few episodes the drawings were semi freakish, such as the very last two episodes. But all-in-all, I must say that there is amazing artwork.
Sound: Okay, by far, the best OP themes and ED themes every made in any anime. Maximum the Hormone has become my favorite band since I heard the Death Note OP and ED. No lie. Also, I really like the church music they play while Light kills people. It really adds to the mood of the show nicely.
Character: FOR SURE a 10 when it comes to characters. At least in my opinion. Light has that sly characteristic where he is very good at hiding things and keeping secrets. Misa may be slightly annoying at times, but every show needs a relief character that you can just laugh at. L was that complete package character. He was cute and funny AND smart. And I loved how they said that Near and Mello together was like the complete L. That was a very good way to describe those two characters. And Matsuda has to be my favorite character. He is that guy that makes you laugh throughout the whole show and even if he doesn't have a MAJOR part, he was still important in the story.
Enjoyment: I have never enjoyed any anime more than this one. I was sitting on the edge of my seat the whole time I watched it. I laughed a lot in the beginning of the series and cried a couple of times by the end of the series.
The only thing I must say negatively about Death Note is that the manga was better. But still, best anime ever.

This is my very first review, so bare with me. :)
When I saw the cover of Myself; Yourself, I thought it looked like it would be a very cute anime with a lot of romance and good artwork. But it ended up being a lot more than that. It dealt with a lot of life issues, and although some of them seemed a little far-fetched, the way the characters interacted and helped eachother through the trials was very uplifting. But I do think it was a little too dramatic at times, like a japanese soap-opera.
Story: The first couple episodes had a cute story but I
...
felt as though there wasn't much substance to the story. Sure, it made me laugh a lot but there just wasn't much in the area of a real plot. Towards the end I even felt, "How are they going to possibly end this anime with a good ending?" But the last episode really tied the entire series together very nicely. There were a couple cute twists and the relationships between all of the characters was very well thought-out.
Art: As I said, the cover is what attracted me to this anime from the start. I really loved all of the artwork and the way the characters were drawn. (except I hated how all the blood appears... black?) The backgrounds and settings are drawn beautifully and the colors are wonderful, especially the sakura trees and the sunrises.
Sound: The OP was very cute but it did start to get annoying by the end. I personally loved the ED and it's one of the few ending themes that I actually listened to after every single episode.
Character: The main characters were all designed very nicely and drawn nicely. Personally, the big boobs... is just so unrealistic but I know they do that a lot in these shows. I hate to say it, but most of the voices of the girl characters were very annoying. Especially Aoi. But the way the characters interacted throughout the series was incredible!
Enjoyment: I have to say that I did laugh a lot while watching this anime, and at one point I actually almost began to cry. There were some very cute scenes, romantic scenes, and depressing scenes. This anime has the ability to cause all of your emotions to react in the same episode, which I thought was one of the things that made it so terrific!
I personally really do recommend this anime to everyone! :)
