As a Tokyo Ghoul fan, I was pretty disappointed when I watched Tokyo Ghoul RE. Adapting from the manga was alright, since it did not change any stories from it.
However, the animation was horrible. They did their best to make it look aesthetically pleasing, with great animation style. ( I actually kind of liked it). But it does not give any excuse for bad animation, where the action scenes were hardly moving. They were practically just pictures.
Also as for character, I could not get attached to this character name Haise sasaki. When I watched season 1 and 2, I liked Kaneki for who he was
