...then you might like Mirai Robo Daltanias add

Both are aimed at the same demographic group but they come from different ages. Both are child friendly(very very little fan service) but also discuss interesting themes like cloning, and trust me even kids like to be taken seriously. Daltanious hasn't aged well and has more repetitive action scenes but it makes up for it with a very good cast of characters that made me feel nostalgic. Dendoh looks more modern, has better action sequences and successfully builds up to the conclusion, although I would argue that Dendoh has a more childfriendly story where the characters are younger and are also plot armoured so in retrospect the drama feels a bit overdramatic but it's still a great story to introduce kids to the mecha genre. The premise of both anime series is similar with aliens attacking the earth and the protagonist accidentaly ending up piloting a super robot to destroy the aliens.
