As the synposis says, this special episode is crowd-funded by some japanese taxpayers, so it is no surprise that it is essentially a 20-minute advertisement for Chitose's tourism industry. But, that doesn't mean it is not a fun watch. The creators cleverly disguised the Chitose ads under the guise of the characters going on a trip, so it mostly just blends into the episode and doesn't feel out of place.
If you're watching this, you probably love the Jashin-chan Dropkick! series for its unique humor that involves gore, dropkicks and chainsaws. And this episode does have all of it. It's not as good as the
...
main anime because half of it is just the characters going sightseeing, but it's worth the watch.

These are 90-second short special episodes that are animated in chibi-style. Sounds pretty standard as far as DVD omakes go, right? Wrong. These are unique because they're made like a gag/blooper reel of the main anime series. They feaure the characters as if they were actors who acted out the anime, so there's some really funny gags and jokes thrown in, and overall it makes for a really hilarious and cute watching experience. I thought it weird at first that the specials had a slightly higher MAL rating than the main anime, but it kinda makes sense after watching these. It will only take like
...
10 minutes to watch the entire thing, so I definitely recommend watching these if you've watched the main series!

WARNING: This review contains minor SPOILERS
Mahoromatic: Motto Utsukushi Mono is the sequel to its predecessor, Mahoromatic: Automatic Maiden. Those who have watched the first season have probably come to love the nostalgic 90s cel art style, the lovable bunch of characters ranging from our favourite combat robot maid Mahoro to the little gourmet-cum-glutton Chizu, the uncensored bath scenes, the happy slice of life moments and the slight hints at romance interspersed with the overall plot. I watched the first season and loved every moments of it. But studio Gainax fails to deliver the same level of enjoyment in this second season.
The season picks up
...
right where the previous one left off. Mahoro is working as a maid at Suguru's house and as we all are painfully aware, she still has a rapidly approaching expiration date. Right in the first episode we are introduced to a new character, Minawa, who is a combat cyborg similar to Mahoro. She has apparently deserted from her organization and hopes to find a new home. And in a predictable turn of events, our main character duo of Suguru and Mahoro decide to take her in. Sounds good so far, right? Well, the problem is that this is the only significant event that happens in the entire first 10 episodes of this season. Really, I'm not kidding. The first season was much, much better in the regard that even though it felt like watching a slice of life anime, you could certainly feel the plot moving forward in each episode, whether that be in the form of character development or actual plot-significant events taking place. This season felt like watching Naruto filler.
I guess the reason for this is that the creators wanted to delve into Minawa's character at a gradual pace, but no matter how you look at it, it was a terrible decision. Her character isn't even that complex or anything new. It's the same age-old trope of the character whose past is associated with the enemy but is actually still secretly a spy of the enemy however they come to love the main characters and after betraying them they decide to take their side in the end. Yeah, it's as simple as that but for some reason Gainax thought that they needed to dedicate 10 episodes for making the viewers realize this.
Another gripe I have with this is that it spent so much time on pointless things but all the important things were just glossed over. For example, take Mahoro's guilt over killing Suguru's father. Normally you'd expect that this will be touched upon in an entire episode, with Suguru finding out about it, and we'll see his reaction, how he deals with it, etc. But no, this is just glossed over in a 3 second dialogue during a fight scene. Absolutely baffling. There's also the case of how Mahoro's death occurs. With all the episodes ending with a panel saying "XXX days left until Mahoro stops functioning" you'd expect that the when the time comes for Mahoro to finally rest in peace it will be something like Plastic Memories, a memorable, touching scene of parting. I won't spoil it but let's just say that it's nothing like that. Well, to be fair maybe it's just me that's bothered by this, though. Not everyone has the same expectations. Anyhow, it really does seem like Gainax just focused on Minawa and only remembered that there was a plot to wrap up when only 3 episodes were left.
Well, I don't have the energy to type much more about this, but last thing I want to mention is the ending. All I'll say is that this anime has a classic Gainax ending. That essentially means that no person on this planet will completely be satisfied with it. It will leave you with an emptiness in your heart. Maybe it will lead you to read the manga, which supposedly has a different ending, or maybe it will make you curse Gainax and give all their anime a 1/10 rating. Whatever suits you. But the fact remains that you will never really find closure.
And that's all folks, thanks for reading my review. I don't do these very often, after all.

This OVA was made earlier than the TV series, but I made the mistake of watching it later. Unlike the TV episodes it is a full-length 24 minute episode. And it's damn good.
It starts with a segment made up of yon-koma panels which speak. Well, basically you have the characters faces as they appear in the manga and there's dubbed audio. There's Miki, Chihiro and Hana doing some introductions of the characters and talking about random stuff for 2 minutes. After this starts the actual episode. And well, the only way I can describe it is that watching this will basically feel like reading 100
...
chapters of a 4-koma manga at once, if you know what I mean. It's just about mini-occurences and how the characters react to them, how they interact with each other etc. As you get to know them, understand their quirks, you grow to love them, bit by bit, as the chapters fly past.
Well, the main appeal of this anime to me was the titular character, Morita-san herself. She's cute, she's lovable, and though she doesn't speak a lot, she thinks too much. Way too much, in fact. Her overthinking things and being unable to do anything as a result is a running gag in the series. The episode is all over the place though, really. There are funny moments, there's wholesome moments, there's some scenes with yuri bait and all in all it's one good OVA episode that I thoroughly enjoyed. Recommend it to everyone.

This is a special episode of the Somera-chan series which I couldn't find on any regular streaming sites but it's there on youtube. It's not subbed though so you'll have to watch it raw. It's almost 10 minutes long unlike the regular Somera-chan episodes which are only 4 minute long. But the episode length is just a scam.
The actual episode is in the first 3 minutes only. It's about Matsushima being Matsushima and doing batshit crazy shit mostly. Then there's a 4 and a half minutes long ending song which is followed by a drawing song (that we all love). At the end there
...
is a short Mennouse trivia segment which tells us that they explode when they eat apples.
There's very few people who watch or even know about the Somera-chan anime and this special probably won't ever get subbed, so even fewer people will watch this I guess. If you've watched the main series then you probably know that the final episode ends on a cliffhanger, so I'd say just watch this too for closure even if you don't understand japanese.

While the Ketsuekigata-kun anime is funny and unique, this special episode is just the VAs of Nasuno(Narumi Kyoko) and Yuri(Watanabe Yui) from Teekyuu talking about the DVD, manga and anime sales and stuff which no one wants to know so yeah don't watch it.
MAL keeps telling me to make this review longer but there's really nothing else to say about this so this is just filler text that I'm typing to hit the word limit. Argh it's still not enough, just how many words does it have to be to qualify as a review? Wow even adding that sentence didn't push it over the edge.
...
Now I'm getting annoyed. Might as well close this tab.

This is short and cute little show that's pretty good if you just want to watch something relaxing on the side. The animation is not the best but it is consistent and the character designs are adorable. This is a CGDCT so the characters are not super complex but unlike other anime in the genre they're not just the usual stereotypical characters. They feel original and refreshing.
As for the show, the episodes are only 7 minutes long and each episode is about something that the girls are doing on the day. Sometimes it's going to eat ice-cream, other times it's a festival etc. The
...
dialogue is funny and the jokes do hit their mark. I especially liked Nao's tsukkomis, they're well-timed and her voice fits the tsukkomi character type. Oh and btw the synopsis says that Wakaba wants to become a "gyaru" but thing is not a major plot point, it's more of a running gag. She actually just wants to hang out with friends and be a regular high school girl. If you came to this for the "gyaru" bit then you'll be disappointed.
Anyway, I enjoyed this show, in total it's only a 90 minute watch so just dive in!

If you're planning on watching this, you already know how Teekyuu is so I'll skip all that and focus on writing about why these specials are particularly bad.
First, for some reason the art in these specials is completely different from the rest of Teekyuu and it is really, really ugly. Ok well maybe it's not THAT ugly but it's still jarring to see the crazy crackhead cute girls I've seen for 6 seasons in a crap art style.
Second, the jokes in these specials are pretty bad and didn't make me laugh. Especially the second episode, it doesn't feature any of the main characters. Instead,
...
it shows us what's happening in the tennis club of UsaKame high school for some reason.
And that's the end of my review. Just wanted to alert the next Teekyuu watcher to skip this.
