It's really bland. It's a power fantasy isekai story. The show says MC is OP whenever he show up and bulldozes and terrorizes the villains. As far as blandness the show places the MC in a sword and magic high school. There's little world building. MC wants basically be a mix of superhero powers with no weaknesses. There're reviews saying this isn't BL. This was very adult and targeted towards fans of hardcore BL. The total number of women can be counted on one hand. One of the MCs, Eiji, is useless to the story except to tell how how fragile the other MC was, how different he was when they were together, and how much they liked each other. They only kissed once and don't hook up. However, MC does seem to get raped every few episodes. All the prostitutes are teen boys.

The story takes a few really basic philosophical ideas and grand stands them to try to sound like it's intelligent. It's probably not suited for people who aren't mature, who would be easily convinced in the depth of the arguments, but the premise of the arguments is childishly pretentious for people who are. It's also slow there's little action. I watched this in 2.5x speed and I didn't miss reading any of the subtitles.
