Half the anime is good the other part is boring

At first I wasn’t sure about the anime at first but after the first 2 episodes I was really starting to like this. The b story of the other reincarnated students was important at first but you never had a chance to really connect with the characters so I would watch it and wait for the a story to come back on. As I got further into the show it began to get confusing as the 2 stories didn’t match up with one another. until later we found out the a story is set ... around 15 years before the b story. once I found that out I wondered why this was important unless there paths would cross eventually but they practically never did because of the 15 year difference and with the character overlap it was just more confusion on top of that. So after being confused for half the series. I was quite bored of it and it was only in the final few episodes everything made sense but by then i was skipping forward the b story because I couldn’t be bothered watching it since I couldn’t connect with any characters.

The only character I had chance to connect with was the main character because all the others weren’t entertaining so the entire part without the main character was boring to watch the only reason it got such a high rating from me was because the main character is so likeable
