This one was hard to review. I want to support LGBTQA+ projects but this anime was MEH! Sometimes it feels slow paced, sometimes rushed. Then we fall in love with the first couple and forget about them totally halfway through. The story basically goes from couple to couple instead of integrating the story. Maybe it needed better editing in order to balance the story line better. Also, Anime artists need to get on their heads that not always the TOP needs to be taller or stronger.....I feel that all these anime are more of a copy paste of a previous one lacking uniqueness. I have mixed feelings about this one. The idea is very good but the delivery fails. There is so much going at once that you don't get what the real plot is. Saiving the MC mom, ranking up, getting money? Also the MC is a completely different character after the "incident". Was that necessary? It feels like the anime is confused and doesn't know what it is. Sometimes is fun adventure and some others violent rage. I was looking forward this series so much since I loved the 2006 version. However, it was a let down. Yes the graphics are better but the whole romanticizing a "bartender" and the side stories, were so cliche and lacked the depth of the original one. Also it supports the idea that you need to be the "best" in order to validate what you do, which is ridiculous. Overall it was ok, but it felt disjointed. I did not get the point of going to school if the MC is going to be out and about solving mysteries and problems. The school part makes no sense if they are not actually attending school, then they keep introducing characters left and right, so it makes the story even more convoluted and all over the place!!!! Maybe the writer suffers from ADD and in the middle of writing he saw a "squirrel" and lost the train of thoughts in between. These stories need to be more focused...I know it is just anime, but still there

I almost dropped it after the first episode and maybe I should have!!! I really despise these characters that feel sorry for themselves. Yes life is hard, yes life's not fair sometimes, but deal with it and move along!!! The "nobody loves me and I'm useless" line gets old real fast! Main character is NOT likeable at all, I did love SORA which basically disappears halfway in. The story overall is all over the place, like the creator had tons of ideas but didn't develop any in particular. It feels disjointed and poorly written. Also what is with the bags???...she has a magic one that can carry everything

The animation is good and the characters designs looks great, BUT if there is not going to be a specific plot, at least there should be a character relationship development. I know there is a lot of people saying that this series has no plot, but really the plot is a laidback trip through a new world with funny scenarios and great "friends". I loved that the series is focused on the traveling, the MC relationship with his familiars and the intro of yummy food. You might gain some weight for sure!!! I felt hungry after each episode!
It is a low angst laidback series, so if you are looking for tons of friction and fighting for "power", this is not the series for you. So far the anime follows the manga version of the ...

I loved the first season because it felt magical. However, I felt this second season part 1 was a totally different story with "visiting" characters. I haven't finish reading the manga, so maybe there is a point to the change from a fantasy/romance story to a gakuen/fantasy story. However, the shift was not positive or to my liking. So the story is great, she tries to help people to achieve a goal. I get the character cuteness. What I is hard for me to understand is her stupidity. There is no need to have a character who is cute and a bit clumsy...but it doesn't have to be stupid. The series overall is very sexist and abusive.
