Both animes are based off the Takarazuka Revue. If that’s what originally attracted you to watch Kageki Shoujo, try Revue Starlight! If the following aspects described below are what you’re looking for, Revue Starlight is definitely a show for you: Plot-wise, they’re kinda similar; both focusing on character bonds and competitiveness. The way they handle character developments are top notch; neither glossed over nor taking up too many episodes to get there. It’s also done efficiently. Lastly, there’s the OSTs, something I really loved about both animes. The ED of Kageki Shoujo is similar to the insert songs played in Revue Starlight, so if you’re interested in more songs like that, try listening to Revue Starlight’s songs.

Although neither animes seem similar to each other, there are, in fact, some similarities in aspects. Some of which include: -Timeline. Both animes take place during similar timelines; Attack on Titan from 1893 to 1942, and Princess Principal in the 19th century. -Place. Neither animes take place in Japan; Attack on Titan in Madagascar (from what I’ve researched), and Princess Principal in London. -Wall. The wall in both animes play an important role in the plot. I don’t feel like explaining, but basically both walls divide something and something else. -Plot. As I said, neither animes seem similar to each other. However, there is actually some similarity in plot. Both animes have a leading group who fight their enemies for the better of their kingdom. The enemies are also powerful, but in a different way; AOT has rampaging human-eating titans, and Princess Principal has powerful influencers. There are some other similarities that I find hard to explain, but you’ll probably get what I mean after you watch either animes. Aspect similarities aside, the OSTs of both animes are pretty lit. Give them a listen whenever you have time.

Both animes have an MC who has become the cold character’s partner, or disciple, because of admiration. Both cold characters had a partner who’ve died because of their mistake. They both also open their heart to the MC later on.
