Monster-of-the-week show portraying a mysterious transfer student entering a facility controlled by a group of shady individuals with ulterior motives. Magical transformations, fabulousness, possibly more.

Public toilets, heli/plane shots, emotional bullying and vaginal bleeding. All four of these things are present in both of these two works, done by the same author. Just thought I should point it out.

Oku-san is almost exactly like Yotsubato!, mainly in tone and characters, but here the curious 5-year-old is replaced with an extremely whimsical housewife of 32 years.

Both of these two keep a strong focus on geniuses, as well as the normals surrounding them, and they both portray the hardcomings of both types dealing with the other. Sakurasou has light drama, while Medaka Box has special abilities and shounen battles.

...then you might like JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 1: Phantom Blood add

It would seem Hirano Kouta was deeply inspired by Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and perhaps unconsciously managed to grab a few things over to his giant, Hellsing, such as the principles based on which vampires work, posing and even a few scenes. Regardless of these somewhat apparent similarities, the two works are completely different in style and nature.
