I think this anime was really good. Yes, it seems to be a bit inspired by Studio Ghibli movies but it was also very different and I enjoyed it a lot.

Ups: The art was very great, and it had some interesting characters. The story was a little confusing, but it kept me watching, wanting to find out more and how everything was connected.
Downs: Some parts were left unexplained and some parts felt a bit rushed, like the ending. Also , some parts went a little too long without speech, and it sounded a little odd.

Story:7 For reasons such as parts left unexplained and parts that ... were confusing. But the idea was good and I really didn't want to pause the movie or wait for it to load.

Art:10 This artwork was amazing! It totally was part of what made me like the movie.

Sound: 8 It had pretty good music and from the English Dub the voice acting was pretty good, but sometimes there were either pauses or the talking seemed rushed and it sounded unnatural.

Character: 8 The characters were very interesting, not like your usual anime, but sometimes I couldn't tell who was supposed to be bad and who was supposed to be good, and I wanted to know more about some of the characters.

Enjoyment: 9 I really liked this movie, I'd say overall it was very great, I recommend it to all fantasy lovers

I know that many people dislike this anime for the art or just think it's weird, but if you finish the whole thing it might change your perspective on so many things, like it did for me. Not only does it have AMAZING music, but it has so many emotions. '
There are times when it makes your brain hurt trying to comprehend it, time when it will make you smile, and times when it'll make you cry when a characters dies. It is my favorite anime, I recommend it to everyone.
Story:
9, because it can be a bit confusing at times. It doesn't really explain that ... it happens about 1000 years into the future but you can assume it is somewhere in the future if you watch more than episode 1. But, it is a very great story and there are a lot of plot twists especially with the romance and such.
Art:
10. I love this art, and I think it's outstanding. It is an artstyle that perfectly matches the emotions and you will feel while watching the show if you really let it sink in. Also, it reminds me of Madoka Magica with the characters looking so innocent but being involved in some really dark situations and adventures.
Sound
10, from the English Dub. It had really good music (especially Wareta Ringo which is my favorite song). The voice acting fit the characters well and the background music fit the scenes. Without the music I wouldn't have liked it so much.
Character:
9. They introduced the characters, you got to know them, you got to love them, you watched them grow up, and then you watched some of them go (die). It was sad, but it was still great and we'll always remember them and what they did for humanity... I guess.
Enjoyment:
10, because this anime is a one-of-a-kind anime that could be described with so many genres, horror, psychological, romance, tragedy, mystery... It is an awesome anime, but don't stop after episode 1 and say you don't like it! It gets way more interesting and there are a lot of plot twists! You'll love the characters, and the story is interesting, so I'd say it's almost a perfect anime!
