Another story about a group of friends setting out on a rocky path to pursue their individual dreams. I find the story of their friendships, love and determination to overcome their hardships making both manga the few selected best reads for slice of life genre. The characters in both stories support each other and in the process find love in its many multitudes. Laced with triangle love relationships and misunderstandings, in both stories the mangaka/author allows love to progress slowly and realistically making it easy to relate to unlike the usual clichéd plot lines. Love them both, cream of the shoujo + slice of life genre!

...then you might like Nobara no Hanayome add

Both features a strong, independent and cold heroine paired with a cool guy that loses his cool when triggered into a berserk mode. Development of love story is also similar, where both characters slowly realize the weight of their love over time and interactions.

If you liked Kinkyori Renai add

...then you might like Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun add

Both featuring a strong female lead excellent in her studies and slowly changes for her love. Although in this story both are students, but the female leads are similar, so if you like Umi you'd love Shizuku from Tonari no Kaibutsukun just as much!
